Aisha Greyjoy
We live in a post facts world. The truth of it is very psychologically complicated. We, as humans in America, have internalized various aspects of political agendas as being core to our identity. We therefore reject facts that question our identity and believe lies that support our identity. Facts won't change people's minds. Hot chicks and self interest can work wonders though. Here's an example. Do you want to keep this woman out of the country? She might date you! She's a Syrian refugee. TimbitsNCoffee
No link between immigration and crime? Lol. Sweden. Immigration = controlled and screened flow of foreigners into the country, with proper documentation. Refugees = undocumented and unscreened mass-flow of foreigners into a country, usually stressing the government's systems. Sweden is a country that has very broad definitions of what constitutes crime. Example: Sexual harrasment includes staring and sexual innuendos sent via any cyber message. Rape constitutes unwanted advances If you were to adjust the laws to US standards, you'll notice that the rates are hella lower than the US, and actually barely moved. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/07/11/are-migrants-really-raping-swedish-women.html

Its "Post-Truth" which is ironic as those media outlets who devised such a term are now so weak in influence because the people know that they are liars and corrupt. Its true that trying to prove these sort of things (which often are questionably done based off previous such works I've seen) is pointless. What matters is perception and nothing else, something that has always been the case and you got to live with that. Even if they were all angels people would want immigration to be low due to the perception and if you push against that... then people will get angry and eventually you will suffer the push back. I would advise against that. The "look at this pretty woman" has been a staple of those in the past who were very ugly in their language shall we say so stooping down to their level isn't smart or clever. Rozalia
they're committing crimes by entering the country illegally. Trump has already made that common sense distinction which is something that apparently needs to be put down. Illegally crossing a border is a crime so by definition they are indeed all criminals, and it is as simple as that. Many no doubt are nice hardworking people (who are fuel for an abusive and exploitative practice) but its wrong and people need to start accepting that.

Granted it's up for debate on how much of a increase it was. 1 Quote Warrior of Dio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfPCFQfOnLg
