1 - Nobody else is to get involved. This is between The Evenstar, Caledonia, and the Dutch.

2 - For troops, we're going off the numbers of cities times 5 of each military building per city.

3 - This is the first serious nation-on-nation war since this forum was restructured. It's probably going to be sloppy, but that's okay.

4 - Everything has been discussed in depth beforehand in private OOC conversations.

Caledonia's attack on the R.E.S. (Royal Evenstar Ship) Trinity was completely unacceptable. The use of advanced military armaments against an unarmed civilian ship is completely immoral.

Normally, we'd just ask for reparations and a public apology. However, the Caledonians (and the Dutch) have also stopped Evenstar trade ships traveling to Asia, requiring a complete global circumnavigation to get to their destinations.

This has hurt the Evenstar economy considerably. Although we've managed to stabilize the situation domestically, a lot of Evenstar companies are losing out on a lot of capitol.

The Kingdom of The Evenstar will not sit idly by and let good Evenstar jobs and businesses be lost. We are taking action against Caledonian for their attack, and the Dutch for their support of Caledonia.

Our reserves have been completely mobilized! Every able-bodied member of the Royal Evenstar Army, Royal Evenstar Airforce, and the Royal Evenstar Militia have been given arms.

 

Our swords are unsheathed! Our hearts are hardened! With God besides us, we press our blades into our foe's chests!

Currently, 10,350 of the 11,500 soldiers in Evenstar-Meonesia are currently being deployed to take over Cork- the Caledonian colony in Ireland.

Their goal is to take the towns of Cork City, Carrigaline, and Ballincollig. This would effectively dismantle the Caledonian colonial rule.

 

Additionally, nearly the entirety of the Royal Evenstar Air Force - 1,170 planes - are launching sorties against the Dutch. Their primary targets are the Dutch navy and air force.

Planes are being launched from Sardinia, Evenstar-Meonesia, Gibraltar, the mainland, and even the recently-established Suez Canal airbase.

Finally, in what is probably the largest troop movement in recent history, an army of 100,000 soldiers (supplemented with 4,000 tanks plus crews) is traveling to the Netherlands to engage the nation.

The move was regarded as dubious in the eyes of the Department of War. When asked about, Supreme General Joseph Cardiff had this to say:

 

''We've done this twice already. We did it first with Meonesia after their Great Bombing. We did it with tens of thousands of troops and it went just fine. We did it again when Opeck seceded... and we're actually dealing with fewer soldiers this time than we did in Opeck. The Royal Evenstar Army is not a stranger to mass amphibious assaults, and we'll get our boots wet - be it with ocean water or blood - as many times as is necessary.''

 

The Evenstar's main target is Cork, however, the Dutch recently signed a defense treaty with Caledonia. Expecting the Dutch to come to Caledonia's aid, the Evenstar felt it necessary to launch a preemptive attack.

The disappearance of Empress Wolf was also very convenient for this, although Evenstar officials continue to deny their role in her disappearance.

Finally, the Evenstar would like to say that they're not expecting outside help from allies. In fact, The Evenstar is discouraging their allies from intervening.

Regardless of that fact, King Thalmor appreciates the moral support of his nation's allies, and only asks that they pray for his nation during this time.

As it turns out you slipped up in sending you planes there as I currently have control of both nations airpower via backdoor trades. And I send nearly every plane to the skies a full 1210 planes, minus 40 planes lossed in the air raid of the Dutch, have flown out and met in the skies. We unleash a massive counter strike launching a dogfight between the 2 massive airforce. It is unsure how many planes have been lossed by Evenstar but there a reports from the field that it can be seen raining plane parts from both sides of the battlefield. 10 planes are being sent to help the Dutch in Iberia as there is no Evenstar planes there to fight back

The Royal Armed Forces of The Nederlandse have begun to respond. 

 

Attacks have occurred during a busy time of the Nations weeklong holiday.

 

 

Prince Leopard I has already begun to muster the 35,000 strong Dutch Army to meet the Evenstar forces head-on.

 

The Royal Navy (Dutch Europa KeizerMarine Fleet) Unopposed and with Caledonian and Aerial support move to enforce a blockade around the Iberian Sea. Dutch Forces in Southern France have already begun fighting with early Evenstar Scouts.

Emperor Josef in Bangkok calls this a devious act and sees the Evenstar true colors. Prince van Reimerink has assumed the Royal Throne till Emperor Josef or Prince Leopard I return.

However, Krustev Gunther, Hochkopp of all Aurburgians, has secretly instructed state-owned munitions factories in the rustungsindustriemus (arms industry) to export munitions to both sides.

 

When questioned by a reporter on the recent build up of a military industrial-complex, His Majesty Krustev Gunther stated; "I'm all for peace! Our companies are simply exporting, um... HUMANITARIAN aid, yes!".

Rome pledges their full support to our Trade partners, the Kingdom of Evenstar. Our land and Airspace may be used by the Royal Armed Forces of the Evenstar for a more direct route and for military purposes if need be.

The Royal Evenstar Airforce has been tasked with targeting the Dutch-Caledonian air force. The R.E.A. was caught off guard, and are adjusting accordingly.

 

Evenstar merchant ships are attempting to find safety in friendly harbors. Due to the damage the lack of trade will cause, emergency economic preparations are being made.

 

The Evenstar Department of War is establishing anti-air positions in all major cities.

 

A 40,000 strong army is being organized to confront Dutch forces approaching from The Republic. 20,000 of them are already from the mainland, whereas another 10,000 is coming from Victus and Opeck.

Dutch Troops gave made a major retreat, with Prince Leopard I's army arriving, Prince Harrow and his troops have already made their move on the islands off the coast of Roma. Dutch Troops have made a quick airborne landing, losing 3 Air-transports out of 15 2 were damaged but made it back to Iberian Command Center in Lyon. Troops have already begun land fighting with Evenstar soldiers on the ground. 

 

Caledonian Fighters alongside Dutch Fighters are fending off Evenstar fighters attempting to assist their forces righting on the ground.

 

The Royal Navy has spotted 2 convoys of ships, making quick attacks. Unopposed and with no Naval Frigates to respond, the Dutch Naval Forces have taken them out with ease. 

 

 The Royal Navy is searching for more ships that could be attempting to attack The Isles. Another ship was sunk by Evenstar air raids, The HMNLS Trident was sunk off the coast of England, all ships have now gone in strike groups to defend them from air raids. 

 

Prince Leopard I's Army has begun to make entrenchments along the river banks, and have a fortified position to fight off the Evenstar forces pushing towards Dutch Europa. Caledonian Soldiers have begun to fill in stretched our lines, with Special Forces from both nations heading out into The Republic Dead-Zone to ambush, distrubt, and to hinder the advancing Evenstar forces. 

 

The Iberian Front after a 3 Hour retreat have crossed back into friendly lines. However 13 more soldiers were killed and 2 Caledonians after there was some friendly fire due to the assumption The Evenstar Special Forces were closing in on them.

 

Emperor van Reimerink has fortified the East Indies. Prince Hans I has finished deploying the 10,000 KeizerMariners and Infantry/Riflemen across The East Indies. Governor Hans II has returned from Bangkok and can confirm 12 new AA Postions purchased from Caledonia

 

Emperor van Reimerink has also begun moving civilians into safe houses and bunkers to safeguard them from Evenstar air raids. General

 

Grand-Emperor Josef will stay in Bangkok till the treaty is signed, he will be operating the defense in the East Indies. 

 

The Dutch Royal Guard have begun to patrol the streets and to help civilians move into bunkers and bring them their supplies.

The Initial battles and Air campaign for air supremacy in the Dutch Europa region have resulted in 

 

Strike Group Splinter losing all its aircrafts 120, 1/3 of the Dutch Airforce, 36 Planes from Strike group Prussia were also lost. 

 

Caledonian Support Planes lost 12 aircrafts

 

The Royal Evenstar airforce lost 134 Planes, and has been forced out of the Northern Europa Airspace, but has had more success taking our grounded or few flying Dutch planes in Southern France

 

The Iberian Army Group has taken sever losses attempting to hold off the advancing Evenstar forces.

 

The Royal Dutch Armed Forces took 245 Deaths, with 543 wounded. Cheetah Tank Brigade lost 12 tanks as well. The remaining 12,755 Troops and 488 tanks have begun to regroup with Prince Leopard I's Army. 

 

The Evenstar Superme General Office has confirmed 251 Troops were killed with 12 wounded, and only lost 2 tanks.

Our government must advise the government of the Kingdom of Evenstar of the recently concluded Treaty of Joint Cooperation in South-East Asia between the Dutch Empire and Electronica, and in accordance therewith that any military action taken against the Dutch in the newly designated SEACO Joint Water Corridor without the agreement of both the governments of the Dutch Empire and Electronica shall be considered a hostile act against and violation of the national security interests of Electronica, to which our government shall respond with extreme prejudice.

No, the Dutch government did not inform us of their impending war. And while we agree this to be a majority party-foul on par with double-dipping, or "Bogarting" 420 ciggies, we must request for the sake of peace between our nations, and apparently all of Orbis, that Evenstar refrain from engaging in military actions in the SEACO Joint Water Corridor as those waters are now considered by treaty to be the shared waters of Electronica and the Dutch Empire, and thus any military actions therein are military actions within a jurisdiction of Electronica, to which it is treaty- and honor-bound to defend against all aggressions.

The negotiations oocured way before th DoW, the treaty was suppose to be signed yesterday but Empress Wolf disappeared, Hans II and Yui can confirm that the treaty was negotiated way before; and the signing occurred today.
