Pegleg__ Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 Articles of Federal Establishment As of the April 06, 2002, the Federation of Sovereign Nations, henceforth known as FSN, is formed under the powers of this document by which it will obey until the ratification or amendment is enacted as to bring a complete government into power. This document shall outline the powers invested the State of FSN as well as the liberties of the people that it governs. Article I: Executive Power The position of Head of State lies to that of the Executive Assembly. The Executive Assembly, henceforth known as the Assembly, makes the decisions concerning Defense, Diplomatic Relations and Finance in a diplomatic process in which every member of the Assembly gets a vote of the issue that stands. Should the Assembly contain an even number of members and enter a stalemate then the issue is considered unresolved and set aside until the next meeting of the Assembly. The Assembly shall convene every two weeks following the publishing of this document. Should issues of urgency, such as war, be presented to any member of the Assembly then an emergency session is to be independent of the regular session schedule. The members of the Assembly are elected by those of whom they govern and as such are expected to uphold that office to the best of their ability. Should a member of Assembly be found to be exploiting their position then they can be removed after a fair trial by those of the General Populace. Article II: Legislative Power Any member of the aforementioned Assembly or General Populace may submit an issue to the Assembly for it’s current of future session. Once the issue is in session then it is to be voted on by those who populate the Assembly. When an issue is passed it is to be classified as a Resolution while those which fail to pass are to be classified as Rescinded. If a Resolution is brought up again but with amendments and passes the Assembly’s voting then it is considered Passed and Amended. Article III: Judicial Power Judicial Power of FSN lies in that of the people. If any member of the Assembly or General Populace are to be put on trial it is to be in front of those who will be deciding the verdict. During times of Judicial Process both the Assembly and the General Populace participate in the deliberations and statements during the trial. If required, a member of either the Assembly of General Populace may be called upon to be council for the accused. Article IV: Elections Following the publishing of this document, the first election for the Assembly will fall one month after said date. Should there be a lack of members then the election shall be pushed back another month or until enough are present to begin the voting process. Anyone who wishes to run for the Assembly must announce their intention to run two weeks prior to Elections along with a written statement about what they would do once on the council. Following the initial Election, elections are to be held every three months after the previous one. Those who are elected may opt to run for Assembly again but may only do so for three terms, or nine months. Once they finish their third term they must wait one full term before running for election again. Article V: Amendments Amendments can be submitted the same way issues can but follow an altered voting system. The proposed amendment must be accepted by a majority of the total member count, Assembly and Populace, before it can be used in this document. Don't listen to these guys, they are a lot higher score and forgotten the fun in being in the low-score free-for-all fun zone. Everyone believed that some people were worth more than others. Kings. Pawns. I don't think that anyone is worth more than anyone else. Chess is just a game. Real people are not pieces. You can't assign more value to some of them and not others. Not to me. Not to anyone. People are not a thing that you can sacrifice.
