I think the skills necessary to be an effective alliance leader even if I'm not considered a decent has had significant impact on my life. I learned sheets from pnw (I work in business now) I learned coding from messing with the API and bots for the game (I'm about to complete my bachelor in computer science and game design) I learned how to deal with difficult people better and broaden my social skills to include I learned important debate skills that have proved useful in dealing with people of various beliefs. I also learned how quickly some people spiral into their online identities and egos over a game. Overall I think running an alliance Is a great way to learn stuff and grow as a person if that is what people want to do.

"Yo, Allen, you got any coffee?" "As much as yesterday." And so on, and so forth. It's been our customary greeting with the boys for what, 3 months and a half? Every morning, at the office, at the "coffee" break of 10 AM. It all started in February, some major conflict in a third world hole in the middle of nowhere, two superpowers of the time, Odoolest and Welpera, got in a fight over.... I don't even remember. During the fight, a terrorist group tried to release some biological weapon, but it was a massive failure. Killed nobody but the coffee plants, endemic to the region. Of course, we know how this world does with pandemics. We're not even able to stop something that kills humans, so who even cares about some random plants? A lot of us, in fact, but we wouldn't die over it, would we? So, obviously, you know how it went. People got careless, coffee plantations died off at incredible speeds, it became rarer and rarer, people tried to save some plants by taking them away, they carried the disease, and whatnot. You know the drill. In 2 weeks, the species was basically done for. In 2 more, the last stocks went out. We've been dubbing this period the Pajama Party. Lacking that sweet sweet caffeine, and with the labs being far unable to produce enough for the population, we've just had to learn to live without, and by that we mean spend our afternoons sleeping instead of doing anything useful cause we can't go on with the post-lunch espresso. The world's been bland, boring, uneventful, and even more tiring than usual. You know how it is. So did I, till this morning. "Yo, Allen, any news on that coffee?" He shot me a panicked look, and quickly pulled me aside in the break room, far from earshot of my coworkers. He opened his bag, dug through it for a second, and pulled out a little plastic bag of fine white powder. "Is that... Co-" "Caffeine, yes. Don't tell anyone. A lab has been producing some in the area, it's been super expensive, but we finally got the end product. Ain't the real deal, but they told me it packed a punch. So, what do you say?" "Bloody hell Allen, you hero." "I know. Now go away, we're gonna look suspicious. Come over tomorrow morning. Let's have a cup. And for all that's holy, to hell with nap time." ---- **The Lost Mines declare war on: Legion of Dawn, Magister Mortalis, Knights Templar, Order of Dawn, Weebunism, The Commonwealth, Eclipse, Antarctic Pirates, and offshores; for the following reason: We're too old for nap time.**

Hey just wanted to come out of the woodworks to comment. A growing issue with alliances I feel is a general lack of willingness to put themselves into any line of sight and risk being a lesser power. From my perspective a constant exists has existed long before Dail UP (GW14)[NPOLT] Alliances by default have an extremely unforgiving nature they tend to hold groups accountable for situations that often occurred years beforehand and otherwise reinforce such things to newer alliances limiting the potential for older lesser alliances to become majors and tainting the public opinion of them long before they can ever get a chance to improve or grow to a more relevant stature. The game by default is a endless juggle of old reputations with very little room for new faces and that is what likely leads to the dry political nature of the game. People are broadly unwilling to allow new majors and are broadly unwilling to attempt pursuing to be one due to this old mindset that favors repetitive and consistent leadership. It's early for me so apologies for any improper spelling

The Lost Mines "Since they were to come in the days of the power of Melkor, Aulë made the dwarves strong to endure. Therefore they are stone-hard, stubborn, fast in friendship and in enmity, and they suffer toil and hunger and hurt of body more hardily than all other speaking peoples; and they live long, far beyond the span of Men, yet not forever.” In the heart of the sprawling mountain ranges, two great Dwarven empires stood, each with its own traditions, beliefs, and strengths. For generations, The Lost Empire and The Coal Mines had coexisted, sometimes in harmony, often in rivalry. But as the winds of change swept through the peaks and valleys, a new era beckoned—one of unity and cooperation. It began with an unexpected event—a cataclysmic earthquake that rocked the foundations of both empires. Villages were buried, mines collapsed, and ancient seas were drained. In the aftermath, both kingdoms faced dire circumstances. Resources were scarce, and rebuilding seemed an insurmountable task. Amidst the rubble and chaos, a brave group of Dwarven emissaries emerged, led by King Atlan of The Lost Empire and Nokia Rokia of The Coal Mines. Determined to find a solution, they journeyed through treacherous mountain passes and cavernous depths, facing challenges that tested their resolve. Their travels brought them face to face with the harsh realities of their world but also revealed the common bonds that united their people. They shared tales of bravery, ingenuity, and sacrifice, realizing that their strengths complemented each other. The Lost Empire Dwarves were master craftsmen, skilled in forging weapons and armor, while The Coal Mines Dwarves excelled in mining rare gems and harnessing powerful crystals. As they ventured deeper into the heart of the mountains, they encountered a forgotten chamber—an ancient hall where their ancestors had once convened to forge alliances. Inspired by this discovery, King Atlan and Nokia Rokia proposed a bold idea: to merge their empires and create a new realm, one stronger and more resilient than ever before. United by a shared vision, the Dwarven leaders returned to their kingdoms and presented their plan to their people. Despite initial skepticism and deep-rooted traditions, the prospect of a brighter future ignited a spark of hope in the hearts of the Dwarves. Slowly but surely, the two empires began to merge, blending their cultures, technologies, and expertise. In the years that followed, The Lost Empire and The Coal Mines flourished as one. Together, they rebuilt their cities, expanded their territories, and forged alliances with neighboring realms. The unity of their people became a beacon of strength and resilience, inspiring awe and admiration across the land. TLDR: “The Lost Empire” and “The Coal Mines” Merge to create “The Lost Mines” High Kings: Atlan Nokia Rokia Thanes: Calcis Palsada Damon Stewards of The Treasury Revan Lariat Stewards of War Blaze Epic Memegod Stewards of The Mines KozLegend Rose John DRC Stewards of Technology Xavior Darkgod

2 things I got to say about this. Firstly never thought I'd see Alan thank me its no secret neither of us like eachother but if you are referring to the prots who cucked you to sign us then cucked TCM mid war to sign Cam what I will say that is incredibly poor taste of them on both accounts. However those are some the worse off micros I don't think it's the norm. Lastly the mentioning of how you have no faults is incredibly brain numbing for one every human has massive faults to include myself and you the biggest issue you have Alan isn't even that you are disliked its a lack of an ability to recognize and resolve your own issues that you had a hand in and your large need to play the victim while trying to cause other people issues. Alan I've said this a number of times during our talks people change over the years I am not the same person I was in 2019 yet your response was people don't change. I believe this comes from some deep rooted drama I highly recommend you start seeing a therapist for your own well-being it could do you some good. I won't talk poorly about you getting overwhelmed by Orbis toxicness but I will just inform you that you were part of the toxicness your largest issue is an inability to notice your own faults and therapy may help you overcome this and improve your mental health and self images about you and others. Please take a long break its healthy I took a year off the game and it was one the best decisions I made in my adult life. Go travel, try new food, watch some movies, and most importantly rest and see some therapy Also I wanted to say it's a weird day to find out I am somehow agreeing with Kan on anything.
