  1. This topic should be fun to see all the crying. Congrats guys and thanks for bringing some much needed content and culture change to the forums.
  2. You'd be wise to extricate yourself from this situation you've created for yourself. He didn't have a choice, it was alliance orders. Besides, if you did actually win it by Keno and not some cheat, that's far fricking worse. If you have a problem with the way Alpha does it's own economics and milcom, you can take it up with me.
  3. I think you read Hope's post wrong. She's saying in the *past* they and we've been targetted. But most posts I've seen from Farkers when they are mentioned is that this isn't their war. But I don't want to put words in their mouth. I'm sure they have perfectly fine reasons.
  4. If nothing else, this should cement who was winning the *other* global war when NPO-BK-TC-Cit/etc have that much spare capacity to take on whatever this is. Also, people should make sure they do proper background checks when admitting or protecting members who haven't arranged individual peace after leaving an ongoing war. It's a tactic that's so common here but makes no sense and is asking for problems.
  5. Some players who lose a war will always leave. It's a shame that people don't know that's part of the game, but many will leave at the first L or only fight in wars where they are bandwagoning onto the winning side. In my opinion, these are players who do not make for a good community and aren't a big loss when they leave. I'd like to see a graph of actual players who have left not because of this issue. Or maybe a better way to say that is people leaving on the TC/BK/Cit/NPO side of the web vs. Chaos/KETGG/Rose side. Also, I see a lot of inactive players who have given up fighting and just sitting at zeros until the war ends. Players like this shouldn't be counted as inactive - they are just idling, unwilling to keep fighting, not leaving.
  6. We are not allied to NPO, but thanks for the FA advice. I'll take it very seriously. So how much are the reps you're going to have to pay for attacking BK/TC and losing?
  7. It makes sense that you, and your side in general, don't understand what actual content looks like when you see it.
  8. Prefontaine, you should be enjoying your vacationmode, not troubling yourself with internet games. When you get "back" I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to design your own stat tracker that can track 20+ concurrent mini-wars.
  9. I'm not sure if it's just for PR points "ebil NPO" bullshit, but it sounds like a pretty clear cut case here. Those logs that came out would've been plenty enough of a CB. Extremely poor idea for TFP to flex like that. That's not even getting to the warslot issue. When we fought Oblivion and people were jumping our slots, every single war was a potential problem and dealt with.
  10. Is this a good thread to say that I still like BK and then get raged on because I'm not allowed to have that OOC opinion?
  11. This is an excellent post and since it's from a member in an alliance less connected to the conflict, maybe it will actually be read.
  12. Person who made that video should feel really ashamed. It's completely unnecessary and stuff like that is why so many people avoid these forums due to toxicity. [OOC: I really hope some more IC/OOC moderation is brought on board to clean this up.]
  13. Alpha entered at the request of Church of Atom (who entered due to The Syndicate). Not sure where that leaves CoA now, as The Syndicate negotiated peace without them.
  14. It sorta is. It's not supposed to tell you what x and y alliance did, but how intertwined each coalition is and how the reality of treaties and the actual practice of them are two different things. Take Grumpy - you have just a few treaties ingame, but when it comes to the actual practice that shoots up to 10+ defacto treaties. it's common practice in coalition fighting and I'm not making a judgement call here. I would say it's quite clear we have 2 spheres based on the first image and given the sheer amount of cross-attacks. For example: Alliance A has no ingame treaties. Alliance B has 5 ingame treaties. Alliance A goes in with 10 other alliances (defacto MAP). Who has more treaties? or Alliance C has 20 ingame treaties, but come wartime doesn't honor any of them. Do we measure our allies by peacetime or wartime?
  15. There is a brief legend you can reference or clarified in the OP.
  16. First image tracks defacto treaties based on in-game wars. Yes it's a clusterf*#k. That's also saying something about the nature of treaties in PW. Other images track in-game war declarations, same correlation there and the nature of actual spheres vs. in-game treaty spheres. Red attacker, royal blue defender in the first few days, added light blue for clarity for defense later on. If your alliance is big enough and has declared wars against another alliance it show up in this chart (i.e. Rose/Ming Empire hit BK along with TKR, Soup Kitchen, CoS, SK so that is a red line, defacto MAP/oAP between them all. Then those who hit TKR have defacto MDP/oDP with BK). Sorry to those who are smaller or have few members. I had to leave off about 10 micro alliances as it already is a clusterf*#k of lines. This is an overall picture of links and a broad overview. In-Game War Declarations: (latest through Jun. 20, need to update for Jun. 21) Through Day 1: Through Day 2: Through Day 3: Through Day 4: Listed above.
  17. Proof that Nuke Bloc is still a thing, hiding in the shadows to be feared for it's extremely inefficient ways of warfare that makes it's enemies able to down-declare easier.
  18. Thanks again man. The loot in these stats played a key role in peace talks, that was probably what pushed it fastest. Plus I supposed Ockey's childishness had some effect on my patience for what is a (lolfun) game. We had looted about all we could and because of their disintegrating member-base, there wasn't much left and I didn't want to see them disband which I felt was going to happen within a day or so.
  19. We have come to an agreement to end Oblivion's war on Alpha. Oblivion has surrendered and all wars will conclude through natural ending or beige. It was a fun fight, a good challenge for our guys coming back and I'm proud to see how Alpha's fireteams performed vs. the growing and shrinking forces of Oblivion. For Alpha, Placentica, Driver of Alpha Hope Solo, Hybrid of Alpha R Johson, Hybrid of Alpha Boniver and Loxx, Selldown Destroyers of Oblivion For Oblivion, Ockey
  20. Ockey, nice log dump bro. Really the worst part here is my horrible grammar. For the record, those terms were not the first version, not even a countered version, but ballpark terms as options since he he refused to pay even $1.00 of reps. These were options to avoid making his members pay for Ockey's war. Dealing with Ockey has made me long for the days of Partisan and the other tS Execs. Ockey's been repeatedly afk for days, sometimes over a week. Then in the days and weeks that pass he'd pop in to post something like this and then leave for another week or several days. When he was around he couldn't even say more than a few words. At one point he copy pasted several private messages I'd sent to Grumpy, right back to me like that were news, despite, you know...me being the person who sent them. Then another person from Oblivion started peace talks only to have Ockey later deny they had any power (after that person had offered up reps). Then it got so bad he started doing shit like this making me wonder if he was having an IRL breakdown or something: Through the entirety of what can be only generously called "peace talks" he acted like someone who was either in Elementary school or on something. His posts were barely legible and even with other people involved in the peace process he was still confused and obstinate. So the initial terms were quite a bit different, repay some of the damages done in the unprovoked attack/raid (pretty normal historically here for raids/aggressive wars lost) and surrender. These new terms represented a shift from that as a way to give this kid some options that might be easier for him. As Oblivion has disintegrated to 3 nations, not wanting to see them just disband because that would be a shame, we've presented them with many options and other than log dumping. He attacked and lost, it happens, no need to get all butthurt about it and cry in your room. Really the only reason to make someone admit "wrongdoing" (lol) in a game like this is because of his attitude. He's carried on like a child, so I'm sorta having to treat him like one. As an alliance that's been attacked and lost, been apart of coalition wars and won, as an alliance leader you have to put up with a lot of shit and if you aren't capable of doing basic peace talks, you shouldn't be the leader of an alliance. I've only really went into some parts of the fiasco that is Ockey and all the stunts he tried to pull.
  21. We've had it confirmed that Park of saudi-sparta: I wish to leave the war and will not re-enter or engage in any spying or acts of war for the duration of the conflict.
  22. No, unless you are referring to Oblivion wanting to form some nuke bloc.
