Official Terradoxia Government Announcement
Karrde replied to Josh Freer's topic in Alliance Affairs
Fair play to Terradoxia high command, so far a commendable attitude shown. Hopefully everyone involved follows suit. -
To my mind, government can choose to spend our money on vastly more important things than we choose to, so socialism is the way forward. On foreign aid, there's a good scene in the West Wing that gives a statistic about the fake Americans: 65% think we spend too much money on foreign aid, 59% want to see it cut... So 6% think they spend too much but don't want to see it cut... That for me in a nutshell shows how government spend our cash more wisely than us, so tax and spend please!

Me too, hear, hear. A sad situation but we'll done to those calling the cheats out- and very much well done to Sheepy, you're obviously working very hard to solve the problem, with a commendably calm attitude too.
-
Yeah, this. Quite entertained though, Apeman has made things interesting here.
-
Maybe appoint a couple of community ad moderators to approve ads above a certain quality to reduce workload for Sheepy? Could even tack it on to the forum mods' responsibilities.

Nation Score 100... We can do much better.

And now it works, just went back to get you a screenshot and the box to tick appeared. What a difference a half hour makes!

Chrome. Device is a Sony Xperia z3 if that helps too.

This morning I tried to buy some aluminium on the market but was randomly selected to prove I'm not a bot, but couldn't do so as the captcha to complete never appeared. I was and am on my smartphone for this. My phone is on the current android OS and using chrome to browse. I virtually only play via phone as I don't own a laptop, and am currently locked out of the marketplace.

Well done everyone, a fair end to a costly struggle.

I agree, part of the fun of the war was learning an awful lot about how to fight a war, and not just a battle.
-
As a new person trying to understand the way things work, I wonder if you would indulge a question: Why do the nations that surrender need to leave their alliance and join the PoW one? Would a list of names suffice or am I missing some mechanics?

Or alternatively a cup of tea. Always helps me.

Is that what that means!? Never knew it was an acronym... Fancy a cuppa mate?

Mensa just unleashed its inner Brit. We're here to bring civility and good cups of tea to Orbis really... Except Wayne, he's a chav. <3 Wayne!

Good war, certainly taught us folks a lot about how to fight. Honourable mention goes to UPN who are absolute beasts in a war, well done indeed. I hope we get to be on the same side next time!
-
Not sure about winner, from what I've read quite a few different alliances could claim a victory of some sort. Maybe a better question to ask is about who loses the most. In terms of reputation it looks like the SK lot have lost the most thus far.
-
As one of the simple, not-in-the-know mensa members I've personally learned a lot from this war and enjoyed most of it. Taking a missile was an experience, but it's quite fun having a bit of banter with the people on the other side via PM too. I don't think my infra has enjoyed the pummeling of course, but come the next time I'll know a lot more what I'm doing. Being beaten by a geopolitical situation way beyond my control isn't too bad, but a close fight would have been better!

Excellent work all involved, well done. I do like a good piece of paper.

I quite like the one that's winning currently. If this was an AV poll that would have been my second option.

It seems clear to me that the Orbis Dollar is the best. What an excellent design.
