And that would be all well and good if I did not see several people abusing it this war, they start loosing then hit vacation mode so they can sit out the rest of the war and not take anymore damage (other than the wars they are already in of course).

I do agree, I find it odd that you can hit vacation mode while at war, just seems like you should not be able to do it lol.

Maybe not but the rebuild cost for you is only going to increase the longer you wait, even if the rep amount goes down it might even out in the end. Should have tried to talk them down if they could really, but no it's not bad at least to me, but I know it's not addressed at me lol.

They have a few good fighters I saw or heard of for sure, but most of the guys I fought were really under prepared with very low stockpiles of just about everything, not really an insult or anything just something to learn for next time.

Well said and well written, I agree that although some people see reps as silly I think it does make alliance take at least some responsibility and may stop them from doing such things in the future.

They are real leaders and they do lead real people, we are real people playing this game and if you lead an alliance you are a real leader, maybe not the leader of a country or anything but it does take leadership skills to run an effective alliance.

Because when you attack someone and lose you deserve to pay the price, even if a small one imo.
