  1. Wish both Kastor and gular the best of luck in this conflict!
  2. Noooo I can't get my C45 anymore 😭😱💀
  3. Actually Canbec retired so he could go back to playing 8000 baseball games a day
  4. The secret to sniping is actually having an MA gov pinging @ everyone every two hours, and then accidentally declaring attrition war on a 500 infra max mil nation with 12 more cities.
  5. Those not in CATA may not fully appreciate the exceptional dedication of @His Holy Decagon in ensuring that all his members are well taken care of. He consistently invests hours each day on PnW, not for his own nation, but to ping people to discuss their next projects, rebuilds, and cities. Pretty sure I remember him waking up in the middle of the night to approve withdrawals for people. You've done a great deal of heavy lifting for CATA, so thank you for your service and enjoy your well-deserved 'break'.
  6. I think this trend of having city cost projects every 5 cities should stop. Assuming an infra level of 2250, which is normal for C26s, every 5 cities gives them infra for a little over 2 project slots, and 1 of these will be spent on the city project. This will result in less strategy in choosing projects since the new city project will likely be a "must get" for most conventional players. While potentially a good resource sink to address the over-abundance of resources, the team should look into other ways to increase consumption of resources that add more value to the game.
  7. The losing side of a war can pretty much only nuke. This only further hurts the losing side and makes wars even more lopsided.
  8. I like this idea. One side effect that hasn't been discussed is that this change will make beige cycles much harder to run, since the winning nation will be able to destroy less military units on average. This means that either the winning nation has to sit on a partially militarised nation who is capable of dealing significant damage, or beige them to allow time to rebuild. I think this would make wars more competitive than currently. With this change there might not be a need for beige rework anymore.
  9. Why even post something that is not remotely true? The baseball community has a few people from almost every major alliance, making it a great place to meet people outside of your own AA. This image is just those that happen to be online now and have the maxed baseball stats role
  10. I think this is a really good point that rarely gets mentioned! PnW is all about the community. Without the people, the game is boring af especially during peacetime, which is the vast majority of the time. Even wartime isn't that fun either tbh. Through baseball, I got to know many friends from other alliances. It is a unique mechanic that adds another layer of player interactions in the game, bringing together a bunch of decidated players who don't mind the hassle to earn a few extra million a day (The "normal" figure is probably around $3.5M-$4M, $8M a day is for no-lifers like me. Some data from @Prefontaine would be nice) I've even exchanged a few million $ of tips with a carthago nation that I was arranging beige cycles for . lol And cheaters are a no no. Yall, the script does not automate baseball, it just allows us to play 1 game a click which is allowed, and necessary due to how bad the baseball UI itself is. @Mayor
  11. To address a few more points other than the refund: 1. Investment in maxed stadium and baseball team costs about $40M. The home game player typically pays the away player 30% of their earnings (tips), otherwise nobody would play aways. If the daily earnings were capped at $1M, daily profits would be $700k, the return of investment will be 60 days. Even longer if we consider players retiring. This will change baseball from a mechanic that somewhat affects the game, to something that is completely inconsequential. If that is indeed your goal, why not just remove baseball? 2. To clarify, we use a script written by Doc because the game UI itself is really bad, requiring a few clicks and a page reload to play a game. Even worse are the thousands of clicks needed to fully upgrade the team. The script in no way automates the playing of games, it just allows us to play 1 game per click. The person who crashed the game edited the script against the game rules, and was rightfully banned. 3. It's not as if the $8M is free money. I am one of these players and I have decided that spending a few hours clicking mindlessly (for about $2k a click after the daily 250 limit) is worth my time. I don't mind some mechanic stopping my competitive self from doing this though. I have no suggestions for the actual changes because that's not my job. But the idea of a scaled monthly cap sounds ok, the increase in player lifespan and income per game are good too.
  12. I know you already have your mind set on nerfing baseball, so I'm just gonna raise up something else which I think is also very important. Over the past few weeks, there have been a lot of new players joining the baseball community. If you were to implement such a massive nerf to baseball, you should consider having an option that allows a player to get a refund for their investments in the stadium (perhaps team members as well, although it might be more iffy). It's not fair for players who dumped in $40M into baseball, and then you suddently change the income to $1M a day.
  13. Lmao. This is my first post on the forums. These 1-food trade offers are a way for nations to send me money in exchange for helping play their baseball games (which earns them even more money), known as tips. Thank you for visiting my nation
