  1. I want to make a public statement formally accepting Singularity’s heartfelt apology. When we saw the messages asking questions about the ad and complaining that Singularity hadn’t yet had time to complete their merger, and the memes putting words we never said into our mouths, we didn’t realize that was your idea of playfulness. We accept and appreciate the apology but knowing what we do now regarding your intent, we are disinclined to acquiesce to your retraction of your responses. It's not necessary. We happily accept the reparation of 1 credit, and as our own apology for misunderstanding your intent, we have taken out the following in-game ad.
  2. I'll take things we never said for 100, Alex. Since we're on subject though, I'm sure @Presidential will be honoured by your equating our tie with Grumpy to your ties to Rose, Eclipse, Guardian, and KT. I'm deeply moved that our little ad has triggered such a call out. I didn't expect an alliance led by all of y'all to be so very sensitive to a little playful banter. We're honoured and amused by the response though. As I stated above, I do think this merger makes sense from a culture point of view, and I'm looking forward to seeing what y'all do going forward.
  3. I wonder how on Earth you didn't understand my meme was a response to this very meme of yours, when you even reference this meme in your DoE...
  4. Congratulations on the merge! It seems like a good culture fit so I can't wait to see what y'all manage to accomplish when you decide to chart your own path. In the meantime, ftfy
  5. Enjoy retirement! You've certainly earned it!
  6. You really don't know me all that well if you think I don't know who John Boehner is...
  7. Dear Orbis friends, foes, and everything in between, I've gathered you all here for a very important announcement: The Knights Radiant turn 8 today!! 🥳 Exactly one year ago, my predecessor, the great @Wizel16, Shard of Valor, kicked off our birthday celebrations by proclaiming on this very forum that seven was a lucky number. And then we promptly proceeded to lose $225b worth of infra over the following 6 months 💀. Needless to say, I hope eight is a luckier number. All kidding aside, we've had a pretty busy year and we're proud of what we've managed to overcome and accomplish. It has been a year almost to the day since Wizel appointed me Prince of the Heralds (2ic) and almost 6 months to the day since I successfully coup'd him to become King of the Heralds. It is a real privilege for me to lead such an awesome community as TKR. I've had an absolute blast with these friends during my two years in PnW, and I thank each and every one of them for making the alliance what it is today. TKR has had its ups and downs over the years, but never has it lost sight of the primary reason we play this weird game: to have fun. Speaking of fun, please join us in our Discord to celebrate. We always love to chat with friends old and new, and we'll be hosting a few public events over the next week to mark the occasion. I'm excited to see what the future holds for TKR, and I am incredibly fortunate to be at the alliance's helm along with @Kyubnyan, @BigMorf, @Schirminator and @Steven Hoffmann as we embark upon this 9th year of our existence. Happy Birthday TKR! Canbec King of the Heralds, Seventh Monarch of The Knights Radiant and First Priest of Deus ---------- P.S. I have to uphold the tradition of absolute banger birthday songs:

  9. Did you know ODOO is actually based on Dodgeball's ADAA? Just sayin' 😉
  10. Congrats and good luck! Some good people in here in this sphere... and @Shwin!
  11. It was fun playing dodgeball with y'all! Good luck and have fun with what comes next. And remember: dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge!
  12. ESPN8: The Ocho Presents ODOO Tournament in South Bend Cotton McKnight: Welcome everyone to another special evening in dodgeball, the most exhilarating sport on television. For the folks at home just tuning in, we’re coming up on the final match tonight at the Orbitite Dodgeball Organization of Orbis’ regional tournament here in South Bend, exclusively presented here on ESPN8: The Ocho. We’ve seen upset after upset this weekend - what an exciting ride it’s been! What do you think, Pepper? Pepper Brooks: Such an exciting weekend, Cotton. I’ve been on the edge of my seat for all of it! Cotton: Yes I have been too. Now I doubt many of our viewers any additional context on the ins and outs of ODOO, but for the handful of you out there, let me remind you that the current regionally-qualified ODOO teams have just recently returned from the World Dodgeball Invitational in Prague, where they resoundingly defeated the European reigning champs, Fortunate Tunas. Hot off this victory, the teams are gearing up for the ODOO annual championship tournament in Las Vegas, where a winner will be crowned from among all the regionally-qualified teams. Today’s final match will determine the regional qualifying team from the South Bend tournament, who will go on to compete in Las Vegas! Pepper: For a FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLAR grand prize, Cotton! Cotton: Yes indeed, Pepper. This final match tonight will be played between the Dodgefathers and the Yetis, and while the Dodgefathers are heavily favoured to win, the true beauty of this sport is its unpredictability. And if you don’t believe me, just remember that in the semi-final round this weekend, both teams playing tonight came out victorious against better-ranked opponents, the Slumdodge Millionaires and the Mother Duckers. Pepper: I don’t think anyone was expecting this match-up for the final match! Cotton: No sir! Alright, the ref is coming out onto the court signaling the start of the match, so let’s tune in. [***] Cotton: My oh my, Pepper! Was that an impressive game or what? The last time I remember seeing such artful dodging was during the semi-finals of the Bishkek Invitational in 2012. Pepper: *whistles* These guys sure know how to dodge, Cotton! Cotton: With this truly astounding victory against the Dodgefathers, I think it’s fair to say that the Yetis more than deserve a spot in the annual ODOO championship tournament. I for one can’t wait to see them bring this calibre of play to ODOO. They really have a bright future ahead of them if they keep this up! For now though, we’re signing off and handing the mic over to our colleagues in Johannesburg for our coverage of the Pan-African Ostrich Racing Derby. Pepper: Effin’ A, Cotton! Effin’ A! TL;DR: Grumpy joins the Orbitite Dodgeball Organization of Orbis as a full signatory of ODOO’s 5 Ds of Dodgeball treaty. ---------------------------- Signed on behalf of the existing teams, Average Joe’s, Purple Cobras, MilFs, Girl Scout Troop #417, Skillz That Killz and Moose Knucklers Canbec Keegoz Bradley TigerFire Brandon Donsberger Kilo Signed for the Yetis Presidential Fi

"ODOO is made up of four alliances: Black Knights, Cataclysm, Name Withheld, and The Knights Radiant." Suck it Mayhem and Bourbon Street 😈 In all seriousness though, very cool initiative @Monti! Should prove useful particularly for new players.
  14. That much was clear from the formatting. Consider this our 72 hour notice. Blitzing you tomorrow.
  15. ESPN8: The Ocho has a Special Announcement from ODOO Cotton McKnight: Good evening folks, Cotton McKnight here alongside Pepper Brooks interrupting your regularly scheduled programming from Peru with a huge dodgeball announcement that you are hearing here first on ESPN8: The Ocho. Pepper Brooks: A massive announcement if I say so myself, Cotton. Cotton: We have just been informed that teams from the Orbitite Dodgeball Organization of Orbis, namely: Average Joe’s, Purple Cobras, MilFs, Girl Scout Troop #417, Skillz That Killz, and Moose Knucklers will be traveling to the World Dodgeball Invitational in Prague to take on the best dodgeball teams in the world. They will be competing against the cream of the crop of Dodgeball from all over the world, not least of which are the European Champions, Fortunate Tunas, who have been undefeated for quite some time. Two plus years by my last count. Pepper: *whistles* Wow that’s a long time, Cotton! Cotton: It sure is, Pepper. Fortunate Tunas are one of the biggest teams in dodgeball today and the ODOO teams will be looking to knock them out of that top spot and send them home with their first loss in years. I can’t wait to see how this plays out and it should be a great tournament with all these quality teams in attendance. We now return you to our colleagues at Lake Titicaca in Peru for the Peruvian GoKart Skipping League Championships! Pepper: Effin’ A, Cotton! Effin’ A! TL;DR: ODOO declares war on Fortuna. 16. ESPN8: The Ocho Presents ODOO Tournament in New Orleans Cotton McKnight: Welcome back everyone to a truly special evening, as we have been watching the most exciting sport on television. We’re down to the final match tonight at the Orbitite Dodgeball Organization of Orbis’ regional tournament here in New Orleans, exclusively presented here on ESPN8: The Ocho. And what a thrilling evening it has been! Wouldn’t you agree, Pepper? Pepper Brooks: It’s been a truly great evening Cotton. I’m totally jazzed! Cotton: Right. For our viewers at home, I’d like to remind everyone of what is at stake today. There’s no monetary prize in play, but the winning team will get a chance to participate in the ODOO annual championship tournament in Las Vegas! Pepper: And then they play for the big money, Cotton! Cotton: That’s right, Pepper. We’ve seen some memorably impressive dodgeball played tonight, and there’s really no telling which of the two finalists will take home the glory and move on to the annual ODOO championship tournament. In one corner, we have the New Orleans Police Department, who handily defeated Daj Mabal in the semi-final round. In the other corner, we have the Moose Knucklers, who just narrowly defeated Game of Throws to advance to the final. Pepper: Oh boy, a real nail-biter that was! Cotton: Yes indeed, Pepper. Now the game’s about to start, so let’s tune in. [***] Cotton: My oh my, Pepper! Was that an impressive game or what? I don’t think we’ve seen a double-deflection slide into a final elimination in professional dodgeball since the Cincinnati Rematch of ’86, and I think we all remember what happened afterwards. Pepper: *whistles* We sure do, Cotton! Cotton: Well, with this decisive victory over the New Orleans Police Department, I look forward to seeing what the future holds for the Moose Knucklers. They’ve really proven their worth tonight and one can only hope they’ll similarly deliver in the annual ODOO championship tournament. For now though, we’re signing off and handing the mic over to our colleagues in Amsterdam for our coverage of the European 10-pin bowling championship. Pepper: Effin’ A, Cotton! Effin’ A!
