  1. IMO there should still be a cost here to reward those who do their homework. But slots are rare, so it should only have the full financial costs of the operation IMO but the slot wouldn't be used. I've been using nukes to bait slot filling but I think that shouldn't happen. I thought it was bait to catch slot fillers. Destroying improvements would be nice, but it should be quite low, similar to ground attack odds, so someone doesn't use it to destroy 3 improvements/day lol. Maybe arcane/covert would affect odds.
  2. The VDS/ID roulette is part of the thrill. I think nukes and missiles are balanced enough. They're a loser's weapon. They do enough damage, cost enough, and are blocked enough. A project to buy two nukes would be interesting and may shorten wars, but on the downside, there may be no "losing party" for medium length wars. Maybe this is a good thing?
  3. IMO don't adjust damage. Air beats air. Air beats all. Ship beats ship. Tanks beat air. Soldiers beat tanks. It's pretty balanced, more than it was. Steel is rare enough and has to be split between ships and tanks, so it's an economic decision whether to do it. I suggest just slightly increasing steel cost for tanks, but keep it less than 1. Alternatively, keep tank damage, but increase soldier damage. If you want to use your tanks instead of aircraft, be prepared to have them shredded by the soldiers.

Another possibility was that it was at 12 MAPs for a long time so it might actually be exactly 15 MAPs, but it wasn't subtracted on the first hit.

  8. I don't like it. Muscle memory has it to the spot it's in. This doesn't quite make anything better? If it's part of a larger redesign, then maybe show the big picture? You'd also have to note some of us write scripts that inject shortcuts into the menu, so a change for no reason just breaks existing stuff. What I'd like to see is less button clicks for the more frequently hit pages - rebuy planes, My Trades, treasure list. I even modded a shortcut to viewing buy/sell prices of specific resources, so maybe that should be in there somewhere (I know the navbar shows buy prices).

  11. I'm not entirely against this, because it would be nice for people to get more cities. But did rather it be through more urban planning projects lol
  12. I don't think it will be fun. New players already have the thrill of adding cities quickly. Older players still need to buy something. I like loading my project slots with cheap econ ones then scrapping them for the expensive ones. That's going to be a hell of a punishment if I have all these rss projects I don't use and then want to buy ACP. The strategy angle isn't worth the loss of fun. It's just more calculators, more buttons to press in a specific order. It's hard enough to remember the project timer and clicking it in traffic, getting snored at 8.00 am, setting a reminder to press it 5 min later. I don't want an ideal project destruction order planned in advance for that.
  13. All of these look good. Arguably spy sat should be high damage, but as long as it hurts other units by 50% it should be fine. I'm not a big fan of this one. Everyone maxes both tanks and soldiers in war. Pirates and losing parties max only soldiers. This becomes a pirate/losing party nerf. Currently GC vs AS, AS wins hands down. There used to be two Nash equilibria - you either dump ground, take the skies and get beiged or take ground and lose out long term. Now there's only one - win air and your enemy will never overcome the half tank disadvantage. There's no need to reduce tanks ability to kill planes. If you want to do this, I'd recommend bringing back 2/3 of effective air on GC. This sounds like a noob trap, so I'm okay with this. No. Air dominance is way OP. Depends if you're trying to make ship v ship another nash equlibrium. Would be good if so. Hell yes. Pirates stealing treasures and selling it off were one of the fun bits of the game. It would be better if players could set the price right up front. Even better if treasures could be traded for credits heh. I don't like it. I don't really see the point of this besides letting people get ahead a little faster with credits. Dealing with city-project timers were part of the game IMO.

  16. Lots of the reviews say that they can't get past the captchas on the app. It seems to be on the highest difficulty. There are multiple levels of captchas and you have to wait several seconds for the next one to fade. Perhaps the app is based on some user agent or proxy that messes with the settings.
  17. Tanks seem to be capped at 200 per factory, but the desc should be 250.
  18. Yeah, I never heard of this. Thanks for bringing it up. Most of us never look at mainstream media anymore, and it's funny how these games are the way we know what's going on in the world. Will send love and prayers that way (and cash). I have been reluctant to donate to Red Cross since they messed up some things a several years ago, but if you say they've been helpful, then that's useful to know too.

By my calculations, it should be roughly: Utter Failure odds: 12.68% Pyrrhic Victory odds: 37.78% Moderate Success odds: 36.71% Immense Triumph odds: 12.83% The data is: Utter Failure: 6/32 (18.75%) Pyrrhic Victory: 15/32 (46.88%) Moderate Success: 9/32 (28.13%) Immense Triumph: 2/32 (6.25%) Not a huge difference but maybe there's something in the timing.
