  1. --repost--

Oh, and a cop in NYC was run over by a car.

In my area, lots of small family owned businesses that are already having trouble due to the corona virus, are now being looted.

Disgusting. How can you be a human being and commit atrocities against innocent individuals like this? The murderer of Floyd was arrested, what more could you possibly want? Justice was and is being served, why ruin your reputation by acting like terrorists?

If mass executions were legal, do you picture yourself sitting home with your family in a few days or on a firing line? Think about that next time you are rioting.

Free speech? Yes. Protesting? Yes. Rioting? Go frick yourself.
Running over cops, beating up innocent civilians, razing city blocs? You are the scum of this great country, and the Earth as a whole.

I get the frustration, I really truly do. What that evil and misguided police officer did was unacceptable. Yes there are bad cops. But there are also many...well.....okay cops. And some really good cops. They have families and lives and their own issues as much as anyone else.

Did you know that Floyd and the cop that killed him worked at a nightclub together? What if the cop killed him over something at that nightclub? Why does everyone jump to racism? Maybe it was racism, but did you know that 2 of the cops weren't even white?  Oh, this is the real kicker. Since 2015, 4,728 people across the country have died in police shootings and approximately half - 2,385 - were white. Out of the remainder, 1,252 were black, 877 were Hispanic and 214 were from other racial groups. That doesn't look like racism if I do say so myself. If anything, maybe whites are being targeted? You don't see "White Lives Matter" when a white guy is killed by a cop, now do you?

There was many issues, and that cop was a shitty cop period. Still doesn't validate the anarchy occurring around the country.

As of now, ~50 officers have been killed or seriously injured in riots around the nations. Many have families that are either left behind or have to pay for medical care even when money is scarce.

Thousands of innocent civilians are being injured and/or killed, now including friends and family members of mine.

Businesses are being ransacked and many will not recover.

If you are marching and protesting, that's fine. Continue. It is your right.

If you are attacking police officers, civilians, destroying businesses, et cetera...well....let's hope you and I never meet. I may be scrawny, but I am an excellent shot.

That is my very offensive and probably gonna get me banned rant.

A dissatisfaction with the oppression that is considered status quo in the police, the state, and capitalism is what caused this. The people are rising up not for only the removal of the police involved in this incident, but for an actual change. It is far deeper than only police violence, but it is the crux in these times.

  2. "Did you die?" Orbis inquisitively questioned.

"Sadly yes. But I LIVED." Aqua responded, with an evil chuckle.

All of Orbis looked around, then sighed in desperation. What does it possibly take to kill Aqua once and for all?

    Tune in next episode!

  3. *yawn* alright. Time to do today's sermon.

Disclaimer, everything I say is my opinion and mine alone. I do not speak for anyone else and I am not saying that I am right, but that it is merely my insight and I realize as a human being my insight may be skewed. Feel free to debate anything with me at anytime. Or scoff at me and call me an idiot

I got this idea yesterday when I made a post about music. Btw sorry if I am groggy or anything. I passed out and just woke up lmfao. I was like, "Oh shit, it's 3:00pm." Then I started to pass out again lol. I had to forcibly fall off my bed (which is a big bed) in order to get up.

Anyway, I thought about how we forget how long it has been since something happened.
Today we are gonna induce some nostalgia

Firstly, it is 2020. Remember that. 5 years ago was 2015, and 10 years ago was 2010.

Now think when you were born. The soonest year possible on PnW would be 2005, because you are 13.

Were you born 2000? 1995? 1990?80s or even 70s? People born in the 70s are reaching or in their 50s. If that doesn't make you uncomfortable, I must just be crazy.

The graduating class of this year never lived before 9/11. Desert Storm is hardly remembered already even though it was in the 90s. Ahem, 30 years ago.

The Nintendo Wii came out in 2006, 14 years ago.

I dunno, maybe this doesn't effect you guys. It is weird to me.

Now to get to the actual part of the sermon, time flies so fast you wouldn't believe. Did you know we are already half-way done with 2020?

One day, you are going to be old. One day, you are going to be dead.

That time is coming sooner than you think. Make your life count, however you can. Try not to wish your days away. I am guilty of that, but eh. I don't even really want to live at all so I am exempt lol.

Sorry this sermon is so shit, go read past sermons. I can't focus.

Stay safe, stay happy, stay healthy.

    Godspeed.

  9. Aight, I have a good sermon that no one will read.
I'll type this up in between farm work, so cut me some slack if I sound like an idiot.
Right so, as I have said before I have Major Depressive Disorder. Because I know Depression is a relatively common mental illness while still being misunderstood, I think that would be a proper topic for this sermon (considering I attempted suicide a few days ago). I will still review the commandments and make a religious statement on modern events.

Let's start with the technical bit. Depression is an overarching term including multiple disorders.
    They include,
    Major Depression (which I have)
    Persistent Depression
Manic Depression (also called Bipolar Disorder)
    Etc.
Roughly 30% of the general public reports depressive symptoms but less than 10% has severe, chronic depression.
Depression as a word is often overused and thus misunderstood. Depression is not sadness, and it also doesn't have to have a physical cause. Depression is often genetic, but can be environmental.
For example, my mother is bipolar and so is my grandmother. Thus doctors think it is partially genetic for me. But I also grew up in an unstable environment, with (as previously mentioned) unstable parents. My doctor said that is a contributing factor as well.
Lesser known causes can be medical. Medications, diseases, disorders, or just chemical imbalance can also cause depression.
I have Chronic Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (cITP) which causes me to have low platelets. Platelets carry serotonin. Low levels of serotonin are known to cause depression. I implore you to look all this up so that you don't have to take my word for it.
I'm also going through puberty which provides it's own mood swings and depressive episodes due to chemicals being wacky.

Alright now that's out of the way let's do some statistics.

Women are about twice as likely to have depression, but are about four times as likely to be treated. Men, although are not depressed as much, get worse episodes of depression and will hide it more so than women.

Suicide due to depression is the second biggest killer of people aged 15-29.

Depression, as much as I am a hypocrite of this, is no joke. If someone you know may have depression, confront them. Ask them simply, "Are you okay?" "Do you want to talk?". Talking with someone who is depressed is the easiest way to help.

Fun fact, if someone tries to use depression as a point to gain an upper hand in a conversation, they aren't depressed.
Most people with Depression don't want to talk about it. Hell I don't want to, but quite frankly I also don't care about my life and if this helps someone else I'd gladly be made fun of for it.

Lmao a WWF commercial just came on my T.V. Literally just goes "Don't give up" as I typed that up. Lol, I'm being listened to.

Anywho, I think I'll move on now.

    Commandment time.

    The 9th Commandment says,
"Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife."

Kinda like the 6th, but this is the idea of it. Don't think about sex with someone already married. But I think it a different way. In my experience with guys, they can't control the idea. What is admirable is a man who is loyal enough that they will ignore their own natural instinct for a women. I think this commandment is telling men (and women I suppose) to stay strong and loyal. And not to cause others to faulter and be disloyal either.

I have farmwork and schoolwork to do now, so I will wrap this up here. I hope this helps someone.

Stay safe, stay happy, stay healthy.

    Godspeed.

  10. Alright, how is everyone doing today?
Hopefully you all are well. It is a beautiful day in Upstate New York, it's a shame we can't go out.

Anywho, I am going to switch it up again. I will no longer read from the Bible, I will read from my own life experience and just talk about life, love, and happiness (but there will still be a religious aspect).

Today we are going to talk about the shortness of life. Sounds depressing, I know. In order for you to have something good you need to know what is bad.

I know there are many adults on P&W, as well as many children. For children (13 and above, I am aware), do you live your life hating school? Only living for weekends and breaks? For adults, do you hate your job? You just can't wait for the weekend or for work to be over?

Lemme throw some numbers in your face.

The average person sleeps for 9 hours a night. That is roughly 3,285 hours a year (137 days). 32,850 a decade (1,369 days). Let's assume you will live until you are 85. That's 279,225 hours (11,634 days) of your life you spend sleeping. That is not bad, in fact we need sleep. At least 9 hours a night, if not more. But if you sleep for more than 30 years of your life, then you need to make sure you make your waking moments worth it.

Let's say you are just born. You will live until you are 85. 85-35 is your sleep. Now you are down to 50 years of waking life.

You are a kid that hates school. Nothing bad about that...right? You are in school 6 to 18. You also live in New York in the USA (just so I can base the math off what I know). That is 180 days a year you are in school. A school day is 8 hours. 1,440 hours spent hating life in a class room each year. Now, multiply that by 12 and you get 17,280 hours spent in school. 720 days. 2 full years of sitting in a class room.

    48 years.

    Okay, that's not that bad.

    It get's worse.

You graduate high school with good grades. You get an average 9 to 4 job, working 6 days a week. 7x6 is 42. 2 hours of overtime because you didn't go to college. If you did, just do the school measurements until that's done. 42 hours a week is 6 hours daily. 2,190 hours yearly. That's 91 days spent working a job that you don't even like.
Let's say you keep this job until retirement, because you are pretty good at it and you make good pay.
61,320 hours spent working until retirement. 2555 days, 7 years.

    41 years left.

Still, not that bad. You still have 24 years from retirement to death.

    Or do you?

See, we like to think we are healthy until we die. Not the case. Let's be real conservative and say you are only senile/severely disabled for the last 2 years of your life.

    39 years left.

    Ew, it's odd.
    Let's recap. Born, school 6 to 12, work 18 to 65.
Let's add back some vacation. Average vacation time is 2 weeks a year for workers.
Just so I have less math lets make some guesses.
You will spend 5 days of the year sick, so I won't count those.
You will spend a further 5 days gravely stressed out/upset (family death, et cetera).
Okay. 4 days a year that you get back.
340 days you get back. Ill be nice and add a whole year.

    40 years of life.

Let's be real. You are gonna have issues. Housing, family, marriage, et cetera.
You work and get a nice house. No issues with that.
You have 2 children, each one requires a full hour of attention daily. You had children at the age of 28. For 18 years you had to take care of them. 13,140 hours spent taking care of children.
    38 years left.
Now, let's say you fight for an hour a day with your wife/husband. Less than most adults, tbh. But let's give you the benefit of the doubt.
You got married at 25, and never divorced. 60 years of marriage, good job! 1 hour of fighting daily surely couldn't be that bad.
21,900 hours spent fighting who you love. I am gonna add an extra 10,000 hours for family fighting and 5,000 hours for work.
36,900 hours spent fighting with someone in your life. 1538 days spent fighting, 4 whole years and change spent fighting.
    34 years.
Now, considering modern life, let's say you are lazy or just not in a great mood for 2/7ths of the year.
104 days each year being lazy, depressed, moody, etc.
3526 days of your remaining life, or almost 10 years, being depressed and just not doing great.

24 years of non depressed, non working, non waking life from birth until you are 85 years old.
That's less than 5/17ths of your life.
    Make it count.

Oh my head. Too much math. Wahhhhh.

    Commandment time.

    Commandment 8 says,
    "You shall not steal."

Pretty understandable. Stealing is wrong, in every sense. You shouldn't take what someone worked hard for and owns.

Hence why many religious people hate socialism and unregulated capitalism. When you aren't paid enough for working, they are stealing your life. When you work and your earnings are taken and given to others, they are stealing your life. Personally, I am a capitalist. Most religious people will be social democratic as the most left wing you can go. Farther than that is against the 8th commandment.

Yay making people mad at me.

Anywho, that's enough for today. Nobody is gonna read this so I worked for nothing lol.

Stay safe, stay happy, stay healthy.

    Godspeed.

  11. Alright, I am back for now. Today's sermon is gonna be short, sorry.

First let's start with explaining what the Bible was for. I do not believe it is a first hand account, or even second hand.

The Bible is like a NatGeo documentary on Dinosaurs. I think that is the best way to think about it.

Perhaps its a fairy-tale. But it seems awfully popular and present in history for the past few thousand years for it to be a fairy-tale, to be fair.

The Bible is the coming of mankind, the explanation of society, the creation of Earth. There are inaccuracies and corrupted bits, for sure. But the jist is still there.

That's my interpretation, I am probably wrong to be honest. But hey, maybe I am right.

    Commandment time.

    Number 9,
"Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor."

Pretty simple. Don't lie, lying is bad.

I'll leave it at that. I might start doing it once every 2 days because it seems to me no one reads these and I am progressively losing time to do them.

    Anywho...

Stay Safe, Stay Happy, Stay Healthy

    Godspeed

  12. Also, I hope you all had a great Passover Seder. Mine was pretty nice, contacted the family through Zoom. Not gonna lie, food was sub-par. The dessert was killer though, it was Matzot with a brown sugar bottom and a chocolate smothered top. Oh, and it was cold. If any of you celebrate Passover, I'd make it one day. Best. Dessert. Ever.

  18. Bruh in the past day almost 20 new people joined. Tf.

  19. Day 3 of Bible reading. I have decided that I will skip irrelevant sections, but I encourage you all to read what I skip on your own. Again, the resource is here https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+1&version=CJB

    Alright, let's get started.

[26] Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals, and over all the earth, and over every crawling creature that crawls on the earth.”

This implies that God made us special, in his image and likeness. Although it could also be a metaphor. I assume the latter, now hear me out. I don't particularly think God made us specifically after him. I think in his image he means he made us powerful and intelligent. He made mankind Godlike, over the Earth at least. I can interpret it either way.

    [27] So God created humankind in his own image;
in the image of God he created him:
male and female he created them.

God created Adam then from Adam created Eve. Alright. I think this is a metaphor again. As is later when it gets into detail about how God created Adam and Eve. Lots of unneeded writing here and I dont want to go through all of it, but the jist is God told Adam to cultivate the garden of Eden but Adam got lonely. God took Adam's rib and made a woman. Seems metaphorical. Maybe slightly sexist? Probably not. My interpretation is that God made man and woman as partners. I can interpret it as homophobic perhaps, but eh. It basically means that a man and a woman that truly love each other is a divine gift from God that should be treasured. I think, at least.

I am skipping the 2nd Commandment because I don't like it. It isn't morally anything. Just don't use his name in vain. Cool story.

“Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.”

This has a meaning that many look over. It is an order to rest, and to not overwork yourself. We all deserve a day to recover and think and prepare for what is ahead. That is the Sabbath. Unfortunately, many do not celebrate it anymore either because they do not believe in it or they can't. I look at it from outside religion, and it is still a good thing. Again, we all deserve a day of rest. For Christians that is Sunday, for Jews it is Saturday.

According to the New York governor, the Coronavirus curve is starting to flatten. That's great! But it is not over. When God helped the Jews escape Egypt, they were not out of the fray yet. There is still a rough path for recovery ahead and I hold everyone of you in my hearts, hopes, and prayers for you and your families.

Stay safe, stay happy, stay healthy.

    Godspeed.

  20. Day 4. I have some other irl work so this might be posted later or have less in it, I am also getting destroyed by USN and my only weapons are missiles. Anyway, enough about me.

Also, from now forward if you want me to do a sermon and/or comment on anything religious or non-religious I will gladly do so. Just ask.

I am skipping to Genesis 4 due to multiple reasons. Number one, 3 is long but easy to understand. Two, I find 4 more interesting.

To fill you guys in so you don't have to read as much, Adam named his wife Havah (a pretty name if I do say so myself) and they had sex and had a child. Then another child. Kayin, the first born, farmed wheat while Hevel, the second born, farmed livestock.

When they made offerings to God, Hevel's offering was accepted while Kayin's was not. Now, don't ask me why the hell this happened. It just did.  Kayin killed his brother, Hevel, and God gave Hevel an eternal punishment. To forever walk the Land of Nod.

Then it became a family shitshow, that deserves another post trying to explain it. I highly recommend doing your own research.

In Genesis 5, it says Adam lived 930 years. Bull. I'm sorry but that has to be a metaphor. Oh? But you keep reading.... and every human is living upwards of 800 years. Corrupted? Misunderstood? No doubt. It may be a language issue, 84 in ancient sanskrit might have looked like 930. I hope so anyway lmao.

    Genesis 6 says,
[1] In time, when men began to multiply on earth, and daughters were born to them, [2] the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were attractive; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. [3] Adonai said, “My Spirit will not live in human beings forever, for they too are flesh; therefore their life span is to be 120 years.” [4] The N’filim were on the earth in those days, and also afterwards, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; these were the ancient heroes, men of renown.

And now my whole theory is debunked. The beauty of religion is there are so many ways to interpret it. I encourage anyone who actually sits and reads what I say here to read the Bible yourself and formulate your own opinion. Even if you are non-religious.
Anyway, now onto the 10 commandments.

    4-"Honor thy father and mother."

This, I think, we could all take from. I know I am not always a good little...offspring. I fight with my mother all the time and I have been unfair to her. She is not a great woman but she is my mother and she deserves respect for that. Your mother and father came together and made you. Even if they are the worst people on Earth, they deserve some respect for that.

Unfortunately, I cannot find any news other than the coronavirus. So my prayers won't change I suppose. I hope you all are healthy and know that even in the worst of times there is always a reason for it. Morbid? Maybe ignorant? Sure. Think about it. If you die, you might motivate someone to do something incredible. Nothing happens for no reason.

Stay safe, stay happy, stay healthy.

    Godspeed.

  21. Day 5, so far I have noticed that almost no one looks at these but I will continue anyway. USN nuked me lol. Oh well. Also, it's my birthday.

Anyway, let's get into the sermon.

This next bit, Genesis 6 and 7, include the common and well known story of Noah's Ark.

[5] Adonai saw that the people on earth were very wicked, that all the imaginings of their hearts were always of evil only. [6] Adonai regretted that he had made humankind on the earth; it grieved his heart. [7] Adonai said, “I will wipe out humankind, whom I have created, from the whole earth; and not only human beings, but animals, creeping things and birds in the air; for I regret that I ever made them.” [8] But Noach found grace in the sight of Adonai.

Humans, in God's eyes, were naturally evil. Personally I don't totally disagree. Humans can be very vile and nasty creatures, and you don't have to look far to see it. Hell, over the past day just in the P&W forums I have seen plenty of people just be dicks to one another because they can. In my personal experience, I have seen such vile and evil things done by man. But I have also seen some amazing people do amazing things and not ask for credit or recognition. Such is the nature of humanity, the best we can do is separate ourselves from the evil and align with the good.

FYI, I am reading the CJB. The Jewish Bible. So "Noah" is spelled "Noach".

[13] God said to Noach, “The end of all living beings has come before me, for because of them the earth is filled with violence. I will destroy them along with the earth. [14] Make yourself an ark of gofer-wood; you are to make the ark with rooms and cover it with pitch both outside and inside. [15] Here is how you are to build it: the length of the ark is to be 450 feet, its width seventy-five feet and its height forty-five feet. [16] You are to make an opening for daylight in the ark eighteen inches below its roof. Put a door in its side; and build it with lower, second and third decks.

[17] “Then I myself will bring the flood of water over the earth to destroy from under heaven every living thing that breathes; everything on earth will be destroyed. [18] But I will establish my covenant with you; you will come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife and your sons’ wives with you.

[19] “From everything living, from each kind of living being, you are to bring two into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they are to be male and female. [20] Of each kind of bird, each kind of livestock, and each kind of animal creeping on the ground, two are to come to you, so that they can be kept alive. [21] Also take from all the kinds of food that are eaten, and collect it for yourself; it is to be food for you and for them.” [22] This is what Noach did; he did all that God ordered him to do.

Sorry for the hefty section there. God believed that a factory reset of the world would fix everything.
It didn't but lets go with it.
Noah made the ark with those specifications and took 2 of every animal on Earth (except the unicorn, but that's just my Irish folklore pecking out). I think this is what actually occurred, more or less. I do think there was a great flood, and I do think that Noah rounded up a bunch of animals...but I don't think it was world ending and I have yet to decide if it was enacted by God himself.

    Commandment time.

    “Thou shalt not kill.”

Self-explanatory. Or is it? See, killing is generally okay in many cases (lol). Murder is what should be meant there, as killing to protect yourself is okay.

Coronavirus is still the only issue I can discern. So still I pray for all of your health and safety. My goal for all of you is to show some love for your family and friends, because you never know when you will lose them. I learned this the hard way a while back, don't make my mistake.

Stay safe, stay happy, stay healthy.

    Godspeed.
