AK47s are so reliable from mud and dirt and other thing compare to american made rifles of the cold war and if you take that into consideration no wonder the North won in Vetiam or as american propaganda is we left more like flea cause all our weapons sucked. Infact if you even look at the new Russian fighters and tanks are a hell of a lot better then american F-22's and M1A2's all during the Communist evolution during the Cold War and it ended for Russia due to not economic collapse as some Americans are to believe but to secret talks with President Kuschev and Reagon.

 

Actually, modern M-16s (and various variants) are just as reliable, and far more accurate than a typical "AK-47."

On the other hand, when most people think AK, they immediately think AK-47. Bit in reality, it isn't even an AK-48 unless its a 1947 model.

Since 1947, many variants have been made. (IE: the latest Russian version is the AK-200 [AK-12]. Originally invented in 2011, it was publicly released in 2012.)

However, one thing that AKs seem to always have over any other design is the simplicity and the fact that you can literally mix-match parts from completely different models and manufacturers to create an AK that fires just as fine as any brand new AK.

In fact, most AKs used by terrorist groups are mix matched parts.

I do love the AK, but I also have a fondness for the M416. I wish it were civilian available.

We actually made the M-16 specifically to compete with the AK-47. Bit the earliest models were complete junk and had a bad habit.of jamming.

We even limited the magazine size to 10 rounds because our government has always had an absurd concern over wasted ammo. Even though the numerous historic events should have shown them otherwise.

Also, Russian tank and aeronautical tech is shit compared to us. Although they Aenir catching up with us and have, according to some, surpassed.our helicopter tech.

Their rocket tech on the other hand is either being constantly sabotaged, or their rocket scientists are.just retarded.

 

And the Soviets did collapse economically. See, the USSR was actually not.too different from the US. Each territory (That is now a nation) was an individual state in a union very simaler to the USA.

Since WWII, they tried forever to out compete us on every possible level, and the actually did on many of those levels. But the overseen and collapsed. Simaler to how we are.doing right now. The only difference.is, nobody has the balls to call America out because we literally shaped the modern global economy and thus are the base of it.

USSR was vastly higher than under Russias current failed capitalism.

In fact, modern Russia completely lacks a middle class and is entirely run by the Mafia.

Take a look at any Empire in world history that collapsed. Did any of them (that survived even as a shell) end up in better shape after collapsing? No, not a single one. It is called common sense.

The only exceptions are when the economy of the world itself increases or if they end up reclaiming most of their lost land ala post-Imperial China

There's a reason communism is still extremely popular in post soviet states and why most of the older people (who have actually experienced the difference) want to return to Russia and re-create that union.

Holy hell, there is a lot of statements you said that I would love to argue but this one is the only one that made me laugh. America dominates China in everything but population, Authoritarianism, and maybe land area.

 

China's economy is 2nd rank to Americas. After all who do you think is "investing" to build most of the factories? And who do you think is buying most of the products from said factories? China has an abundance of cheap and uneducated labor for the low end manufacturing jobs. America out produces China by miles in the High-end manufacturing area as well.

 

Now onto the real funny part.

America is utterly superior in both those fields, I said earlier in a different topic that the reason the F-22 is being decommissioned is because there is nothing that can compete with it. It literally rules the skies. There are private companies in America that are further ahead than the Chinese military is in aeronautics for Gods sake! Intelligence is an iffy one though, I can only get information from declassified sources/old books so I will refrain from arguing that point. I am however confident that America is better than China is when it comes to intelligence. (due to the nature of intelligence I won't go so far as to say that America is the leader either, it could easily be Russia using USSR trained people)

(The F-22 Raptor was scrapped because it sucks. Plain And !@#$ing simple).

(In other words, the unique engines had a severe problem of burning up and or cutting out at high altitudes. Thats exactly why no other modern variations have used this type of engine.)

(The F-35 is the variant that works.)

 

(One more thing, the Chinese have effectively reverse engineered ever stealth aircraft our public currently knows of.)

A socialist solution would be providing all citizens healthcare from government revenues with no cost at the point of use (see: what most of the developed world does, or at least tries to do).

 

Obamacare, by comparison, is about shovelling tax revenues at private insurance companies, thus precluding it from being socialist.

Yes it is. 

All the companies are forced to take everyone in, even if they have stage 3 brain cancer and have frequent heart failures and smoke a lot. It takes the money of those not sick and puts it into those poorer people who are sick. It's really socialism, but just using the PS to do so, since they are required to do it.
