The Peoples Assembly along with Chairman Tenchi Mitsunari have met with the Generals of the PRA. Chairman Tenchi Mitsunari has given the following information for publication...

 

The Generals and I have authorized the use of the Special Operation Teams (SOT's) which infiltrated the city of Tokyo and have preformed the following operations, the SOT's have confirmed the destruction of multiple communications arrays, knocked out the power grid to the western half of the city, they have shut down the water filtration system and have struck multiple armory's used by the terrorist armies. They are not falling back and working on new targets.

 

The Peoples Assembly and I agree that the use of Carpet Bombing and "Free Strike" Artillery is not the best solution we have at this time. Therefore we are preparing operations that utilize strategic strikes ranging from NLOS strikes against enemy held positions, strategic bombing runs by the CJA on mines held by Britannia, and possible use of EMP based weapons within the city limits. 

 

Chairman Tenchi Mitsunari has announced that he seeks a diplomatic end to this coup via meeting in neutral territory to discuss a way to end the coup. 

 

If Britannia refuses to meet it will be seen as an act of war against the Peoples Republic of Communist Japan.

 

To the people of Communist Japan, all citizens over the age of 16 and under the age of 30 are hereby conscripted into the PRA and are required to meet at their armory's within 8 hours to obtain your weapons and orders.

Although Hungadada does not approve of coup attempts, it also doesn't approve of carpet bombing or killing of civilians. Hungadada has officially recalled Ambassador Luca from the PRCJ today, and will be flying him, and 2 other Hungadadian citizens back home.

The Peoples Republic of Communist Japan and Britannia have reached a deal that does not involve armed conflict. Due to this arrangement all PRA and PRASF are to return to their bases for further orders. The Civil Defense Forces and all Conscripted persons are to return to their designated Drill Area for debrief.

 

The CJA has been recalled and the No Fly Zone has been lifted, but increased CJA patrol flights have been authorized for the time being. The CJN has been recalled to their Naval yards and the self imposed blockade has ended.

 

All SOT's have been recalled and are preparing for debrief.

 

The Peoples Assembly has agreed to a special session to discuss all recent events including the international community reaction. Peoples Assembly Secretary in a Press Release stated that, "the lack of support by those that once called us friend has seriously made us consider our position in the world and with those that we believed to be allies of the People of Communist Japan." he went on to also say that, "We find it disturbing that those who we would have gladly took to the trenches with in protection of their people and homes are the ones who were willing to turn a blind eye to this transgression against our people all because our people choose the path of Communism. It makes you wonder who's political ideology truly is the 'evil' one."
