  1. He's seen Alex's fair and unbiased moderation and wants people to give him more money
  2. Admitedly, fixing the map issue would be a more important change but this is a good accessibility change also
  3. I'm sure there are people he can send it to instead, if the alliance leader does disagree. 'Oh what a shame, I don't have it anymore!'
  4. In true goons style, you might consider setting up a board where he can record vids of himself eating dog food in order to get his money back.
  5. @SixSadistic66 @Dwight K Schrute @Raoul Duke @Souparmon This is what goons think of non-aggression pacts.
  6. Not you, Kurn. You can stay offended.
  7. The news sources you speak of are completely different, because as Alex states many times he doesn't moderate anything that's not on the game. The news services are on discord.
  8. Hello, that second-tier shitposter from TI here; This is a strange event for me. I find myself in a position I never expected to be in: I'm on the 'winning' side, but I'm not celebrating. Though this war was far longer than everybody wanted, and although a lot was lost on both sides, I can't help but feel that the way it ended was, for the most part...sad. However you view the revelations from Alex, I'm sure that, as people who care about the game and who have made friends playing it, who have spent far longer than we'd ever be proud to admit playing it, today was a monumentally sad day for Orbis. People who have been with us for years have decided that the game at present is not something they wish to continue playing. People who once cared a lot about the community now simply feel that the community does not care for them. I'm not sure why I'm making this post, perhaps because since the war started I have long been a major critic of the way the NPO and BK has acted. Perhaps because I once viewed the war in far too much of a binary light: good guys and bad guys. I failed to realise that there are good people on the side I had decided I seriously disliked, and from reading some of the posts on the various disbandment and peace threads I now realise that not everybody I have been fighting alongside is a saint either. For anybody I have offended during my warmongerish rants, I am sorry. As we move on from this, there is something we must all remember. We are a small community, and any alliance disbanding is a blow to that community. It is not something to be celebrated, and I will never agree with those who have gloated, bragged or celebrated some of the actions we have seen today. I wish everybody a pleasant rebuild, and to those who feel they can no longer continue playing, I hope that you find happiness in wherever you decide to spend your time. TL;dr: for !@#$ sake stop gloating about people quitting the game, good luck to everybody whether you've decided to stay or go.
  9. Hi, This should be rather easy to implement, though I appreciate it'd pretty much only benefit users of screen readers. When I scroll passed the accept peace button, using a screen reader, for some reason it auto-selects it and then I've accepted peace, whether I wanted to or not. A confirmation screen would be most useful.
  10. Some of the posts from some who are fighting on the same side as me are an absolute disgrace. Unless the community in question is super toxic, which for the most part GotG is not, it is not a good thing if a community dies. GotG was my first alliance, and I left it on bad terms. Still I wish you guys good luck for the future, wherever that may be.
  11. Awwww, did the big bad admin hurt your fwend? Okay, you have a nice little tantrum and sulk in your room then.
  12. My god! Grave has finally lost his last marble.
  13. Good luck, though I think your choice of leader title is a little odd. The einherjar are the warriors who fight with odin, the name would be more apt to describe normal alliance members.
  14. I'll give you a 1v1, see who can kill our infra the quickest.
  15. idk, TI gov have just had to field a lot of 'Why do I suddenly have 3 goons on me?' type questions. Was just a theory.
  16. Did Jazz spend somebody elses money and war resources on a vanity project at which he failed? Alex, can we have more of these please? They'll make the war much quicker.
  17. The amount of raws in the bank speaks for Polaris' economic state at the moment. Their manufacturing is running at max capacity just to fund the war effort, which reduces the amount they're able to trade to generate more income.
  18. Perhaps it's not about keeping long-term players in the game? Think of how ridiculously long wars affect the newest players. We've literally had people join, and get hit by the other side 2 days later, while having no understanding of game politics. I'm sure your side will have had the same issue, although to a lesser extent as you own low tier at the moment. He's probably trying to increase new player retention by discouraging long, drawn out wars like this.
  19. I wasn't going to post, but the character of the immortals has been attacked here. You are insinuating that we, who everyone knows is just a bloated micro, would allow someone as competent as cooper to join us. The fact Cooper knows what he's doing, while we're just a micro you have a hate boner for because we banned you after you randomly came into our public chat and started flaming our members, shows that he is not and could never hope to be one of us.
  20. namukara

    Peace

Fark and TI getting left out of your announcement... Guess we'll just have to roll you all.
  21. I agree with this. Planes are way too overpowered, and that coupled with how hard they are to rebuild essentially is the reason the war system is so broken atm.
  22. That'd be a pretty weak CB.
  23. Well then, it could be argued that under a blockade, small amounts of resources could be airdropped into a nation, right?
  24. The only problem with that is that I don't have time to 'go to work' as you put it, because I have to go to work. In peacetime the game is rather marketed as a low-activity kind of game, it's about the longterm, rather than about spending hours on hours in one day on it if you want to reach the top.
