  1. Pretty sure that's not a raid.
  2. A good basic army is 7 inf, 2 art. A good breakthrough army is 3-4 arm, 2 spart, and 3-4 mot. Your armies should ideally be 20 combat width. Air wings operate best in units of 100. Ships work best in fast carrier groups: 4 CV, 6-8 BB/CA, 18-24 CL/DD. Submarines are great in any size.
  3. Do you have enough oil on hand to cover 1 turn of production?
  4. Correct, If memory serves it's wind, nuclear, oil, and then coal. I am positive on the wind then nuclear then Coal/Oil, my memory may be shaky on the Coal/Oil.
  5. You joke, but they haven't. They've sent out surveys about how to do a tablet or phone version of their games.
  6. Stat tracker says $7.9B in infra and counting.
  7. I'm have a similar problem, where I have $715K on hand and the cost is listed as $652K, but the not enough money error is triggering. (Image in the spoiler) After further testing, the displayed price is correct, but the new system charges full price. I had $960K after turn update, the $651K purchase went through, but deducted $724K from my cash.
  8. If you had ever mass blockaded Alpha, you could've shut us down, but instead the war went past 60 days. You had every opportunity to shut it down, but sure, some cheap cities are a better prize.
  9. We've tried UN type things before on Orbis, it went terribly. When people don't agree about the definitions of inactive or raid, how can you expect parliamentary political discourse? What AA would willingly cut production of a material? Everyone needs all four war sources. Theoretically nuclear non-proliferation would be the only treaty with potential, and it mainly boils down to A. not letting your enemies spend gobs of cash, and B. some how policing 2,000 nations. This is not a thing that has a place on Orbis.
  10. No it acknowledges that one party of the agreement may and members of the international community may regard raiding as not warring. We do not. I don't know why you have such difficulty accepting that.
  11. "For the purpose of this agreement" acknowledges that not all parties to the agreement hold the same views as Alpha. We do view raiding and warring as one and the same, there is no incongruity.
  12. In terms of score, we're 32nd. Non-military score, 20th. Cities/member 3rd. We have less than 2 nation's military by prewar standards and about 20% of our prewar infra, but most slots are still intact and post-war chart climb should be rapid whenever we make it to post-war.
  13. People still use nations states? What year is this? PW NPO claims they face an existential threat to (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) NPO, which even without specifics is fair enough, plenty of people don't want NPO simply for previous NPO attempts. PW NPO has gone to "one sphere," except they also hold SK, so clearly not so much. PW NPO used a t$ log to prove a long standing point to (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) NPO, maybe it's out of context and a gross generalization, but it does make a valid point that sums up a lot of PW NPO's experience here. Instead of asking useful behind the scenes questions, t$ posts walls of text on the forums, cause they want point by point arguments rather than NPO's version of the truth, like always.
  14. I am saying this shit belongs on the (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) forums and you're bringing it here. If you cared about results and not some half-assed PW PR war, you'd post it there and do actual diplomacy with PW NPO on IRC, but no, we argue in public threads for theater.
  15. For real roy? I read it, I don't care. If anything, post this on the (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) forum where potential NPO recruits might actually see it. I don't care how NPO recruits from (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), that's their business. The only orbis related point is point 4, in which case, if you don't think the two spheres in a game called politics and war will eventually go to war after politics break down, I don't know what to tell you.
  16. Garden, orchard, and woodland I think with a moderate size plot. You could look at goats or geese too if you wanted livestock. Probably 1 acre garden, 1 acre house/yard stuff, 4 acre orchard, and 4 acre woodland/small livestock. It's too small to get enough fuel for wood heating and too small for cows, but goats or frequent bonfires would be pretty great. A large garden could provide all the veggies and a lot of the grains for a family of 4. 1 acre for a house is huge in any place I've lived, go nuts with the space. The orchard spacing is arbitrary, but they're pretty low attention beyond pruning and harvesting.
  17. Jesus, a second (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) thread? Can we not? Alpha's not NG, t$ isn't MI6, can we stop trying to get people who don't play (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) to give a single !@#$ about (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) politics?
  18. Two people can play on the same network. If the two nations are found to be one person, both will be banned iirc.
