  1. I definitely turned a profit when I tried this.
  2. I made a whopping $15,000 or so doing this, which I'll be happy to donate to a charity of your choice.
  3. Is The Zoo the name of the coalition now? I thought it was the name of the PoW camp.
  4. I figured I wasn't the first to discover this, it seems like something that people would play close to the chest and use for themselves rather than report. Does Sheepy know about it, though?
  5. Edit: Found the relevant older thread about this. Info removed to avoid propagating exploit knowledge.
  6. I do know that nation perks will do things like this, but the points do still stand that cities tend to be homogenous, and the city/project cooldown is pretty meaningless (at higher levels).
  7. The idea is that you could purchase a “specialization†for a city, giving it a significant boost in one area. Currently, whatever is best for one city is best for all cities; you can specialize your cities, but there is no reason to, and it can become mildly disadvantageous to do so. This would add another layer of strategic depth to the city-design aspect of the game, and create more “deep†build options, in addition to "tall" (more infra) and "wide" (more cities). Some thoughts on what city specializations could generally be: -Raw resource boost -Manufacturing boost -Commerce boost -Military boost Although, what I’d really want to see is something more specific and dramatic, rough examples being: You could purchase only one per city, they would be somewhat expensive (though not as much as a national project), serve as a resource sink, and they would work off of and trigger the same cooldown as projects and cities, making that cooldown a bit more meaningful. Specializations could be replaced if you wanted to gradually shift focus.
  8. Does the redemption counter "roll over" on the first of the month? As in, could I redeem 6 credits on the last day of the month, and then 6 more on the first day of the next month? Or does it work some other way?
  9. This raises an interesting point; any of us would probably also start a plague wherever we landed (even in Eurasia) because the natives of that time wouldn't have immunity to our microbes either.
  10. I like the idea of threatening to cut off someone's power.
  11. Name: Fallen Link: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=9305
  12. If you're looking to balance supply and demand long-term, why not just have nation age create a gradual debuff on resource production, to simulate depletion? Or better, if resource production created a gradual debuff on resource production, though I expect that would be harder to set up coding-wise. I don't immediately see why it's better to create an alliance-centric system as opposed to nation-centric. I saw this as more due to sellers not understanding the costs of their production, and behaving irrationally without realizing it.
  13. I'd like to sign up for 2nd backup on the pop quiz please.
  14. Player-created banking systems do give people something to dispute and fight over, and hard-coding it undermines that.
  15. You wanna be careful with the n-word, it'll get you rolled.
  16. An interesting take, though I learned more about grammar from Spanish class than I did from English class.
  17. That study examined the years 1983 and 1994.
  18. It's happened to me a few times. I assume they tripped and fell?
  19. Listen to this guy, he knows what he's talking about. Such harminator, very neutral
  20. I had suggested a while back that the Iron Dome be changed to enable using missiles as interceptors. It didn't gain much traction.
