Seems like a nice change to me, will increase security at little cost. I myself and I'm sure others don't want somebody sniffing my internet connections and using it to access my account, encrypting connections to the site will stop hackers from getting into peoples accounts. Can I make the suggestion you test things before adding them? I'm sure the links not working here has gone and effected quite a few people. Just make everything work and then add it...rather then adding something like this without fixing the other problems beforehand. Great addition otherwise, but I was just concerned about the problems with links. Not sure if we want a repeat of that, do we not?

I've never played Bloc, but when you're just stacking up on technology like (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), it doesn't add strategy, it's just boring. PW is already close enough to (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) as it is, I don't think making it even closer would be a good idea what so ever. Firstly, it'd get boring and it'd be the same thing as (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), secondly, people don't want to play a game that looks like a close. Adding tech would most certainly make it look like that, we don't want another (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways)...we want a new game with new mechanics. As for strategy, I agree with Sheepy. There is a lot of strategy involved as it is. For example "Do I go for nukes or missiles" or "Tanks or planes". Besides, the real strategy is planning the wars out with the alliance, if you want that, go and join an alliance and help them in their war department. Plan blitzes and regiments and attacking, rather then !@#$ing about it on here. I do certainly think the war system here could do with some serious improvement, but making it a complete clone of (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) with technology isn't going to help us or be good. That would be utterly obnoxious and far to over the top for a text based video game. It's not like PW is a government site or something.

All this will means s that if the game is around a few years from now, bigger nations will end up with stupid amount of cities, resulting in them growing to silly size. Yep no, your suggestion will just make all nations larger, larger nations will be even larger, gaining the opposite effect from what you want here. In the long term, city costs will hit 0 at some point, which will brake the game. I concur there. It's the same with some of the people on here who !@#$ about being raided, if they want to avoid being raided, they should join an alliance.

Define "We" here. Because if EVERYBODY worked to ensure that everybody else was happy and to help them, the world would be a utopia. No poverty, no war, no crime, they would be things of the past. But sadly for us, utopia is a dream, which I doubt will ever be achieved. I imagine the world will always be awful, it's just human nature to be as we are.
