I may be wrong here, but I believe that you only receive a message immediately after conducting your operation. You won't get a message in your in-box, if I'm not mistaken. Is that what you're asking?

Inevitably, this would create issues. A full reset is a full reset. We're also pretty well aware of the alliance leaders out there. If we see a case of someone clearly taking the name of an active alliance, where that person has not been a member and it's obvious they have foul intentions, that person would most likely be dealt with.

I just wanted to add in a couple of points on the forum side. All threads in the Politics & War (Beta) forums will be archived, and remain viewable by the public. The Beta tag will be removed and these "rp" sections will start fresh with the reset. Reset will not affect the warn system. Warns and bans will not be wiped. Continue to follow the rules and request removals per the instructions in the appropriate forum. We've covered it previously, but as a reminder, there will be a new system in place for alliance pips when the game resets. -Mr. Blonde

I've spoken with Sheepy. The word "Reich" on it's own, with no other ties to a nazi regime or culture will be allowed.

This is not a debate that needs to continue to resurface every month. The answer will remain the same. We have cautioned players in the past that if they continue to argue Sheepy's ruling on this subject, threads will be locked and warns will be issued. We are aware that terms and insignia relating to Hitler's Germany pre-date his time and use of them. The general public associates these images, names, and references with that era, more than any other time, and the mass genocide and atrocities that took place during that time. Due to that, it is not allowed in this game. There is no point in attempting to e-lawyer any further or the course of action mentioned just now will be applied. The word "Reich" is a much more vague and general term, in my personal opinion, which is why I left it open for Sheepy to rule on.

This seems like the most logical suggestion. I'll run it by Sheepy.

I'm going to be combing over the rules and possibly tweaking a few things to better define the process. There are many things covered by the rules, and there are those that aren't as cut and dry. There are offenses that will result in a suspension or ban without following a seven strike process. That's why we have this included in the rules: I've taken into consideration a couple of suggestions being put forth, which I will respond to soon. The rules are in place to preserve a sense of structure and appropriateness for everyone. If we can make small alterations to forum rules without losing sight of that, then I am open to it.

This forum wasn't created for players to sling insults at each other or argue the politics of another game. This is Hereno's intro thread. Don't derail it or turn it into something derogatory. Take the arguments some place else.

Keep the name calling out of the forums.

There is still an issue here, however. That topic title and post content violates the rules. The contents are not common foreign phrases as I, nor most here I would imagine, have any idea what it means. Keep that in mind before posting another topic like the one referenced here.

I've referenced sections of the rules above for you because you seem unclear on what they are. The thread for Jaffa was locked because players cannot post ban appeals for another player. The rules state 180 days before a ban can be appealed. There is no discussion. The warn system in place is quite a bit more lenient than others I've encountered and allows players opportunity to correct their actions and abide by the rules before reaching a point where they can no longer post. This forum is not for discussion of moderation. If you would like to propose policy changes, you may use the Moderation Questions forums as long as you follow the rules posted there.
