  1. me too! hopefully world peace can be stablished for a day or two. it'd make for some interesting shifts, but obviously it's far too early.
  2. I tried playing Ark the other night and found out that it happens to be incredibly buggy and (omg guess what!) beta. So, I'm just flatout gonna give it about a week or two and tune in and see what's what and who's who in online mode when the data ramps up. It'll be stellar, and I'll be sure to log in to the P&W server for my first on-line exp
  3. Possibly a better post-zombie-apocalypse simulator than both Resident Evil and Luigi's Mansion, both of which I grew up with. I have yet to beat it on suicide.
  4. Well, obviously the word debate is useless in a discussion if that's the way the boards are set up. Like I said, I am not inciting flaming, but there is clear room for discussion/debate. There has to be, no? At the same time, this discussion as it were is guided by a single topic and speaker. I was under the impression that this was how it worked..?
  5. You know, in my youth I clung to Islam for a short period of time after becoming a teenager. I won't say it did me any better or worse, because while I found much peace at times, I was in very many unfortunate situations. Life is not always so simple as to allow ourselves among ourselves. Islam was a perfectly viable faith for me at the time I was in my life, but it continued to fall apart for me, none of which I will relay here. I want to support Mr. Haddad in his attempts to answer the swelling response and I hope the majority of these posters understand that faith is defined as its own concept and is just that: faith. This is a very popular opinion but the implication here is that the requirement of each faith is to adhere to its laws. Unfortunately not ever member of every religion can adhere to every law and repeat every script verbatim. New scripts are written and old scripts are reinterpreted. I'm happy to see (mostly informed posts here and Sheepy's continued correspondence to allow this.) Abu Haddad clearly has his own well-informed opinion and I admire his appropriate counter-pointing along with others' posts as a reveal in the community.
  6. Atheism is great. I used to love it. Wasn't worth it, but it totally happened.
  7. I have Safari on mah iPhone, and I use Firefox otherwise if at all possible.
  8. I remember hearing long ago that some group of peeps was putting together a big remake of Morrowind using Skyrim building kits.
  9. The very simple truth is that this is a prime example of a blur between Role-Playing and reality. It's my personal opinion that PB has satirized both aspects of Earth and Orbis to a massively successful degree.I love this. Even if it isn't particularly the form of satire, it's been a stimulation to the community that reflects on the player-generated atmosphere well in many ways and negatively in one. It's also been hilarious. The ads themselves don't link to articles or documents actually perpetrating trump, just the videos that are his most outrageous and hilarious, possibly something identical to what could happen if this game were old enough to have graced the Bush Administration with all of this free exposure. If anything, the real world impact is that it makes people aware of Donald Trump and that Princess Bubblegum really likes making new pictures from his likeness. The in-game impact is a stimulated community, economy, and buzz to the actual game itself as well as the players. I think to repeal the decision to allow this to go on would be detrimental to the players, the game itself, and the very integrity of what a game like this is capable of.
  10. I just wanted to play the game, but now I have this compelling feeling that I should at least attempt intelligent representation. Obviously, I don't want to incite any flaming, so I'll follow the format with a few exceptions. On this post I shall teach all about Christianity If You have something rude to say about the true religion this is NOT the place* No shit posting** This is not a debate thread*** *there is a time and place for everything. The admins will decide that. **Don't post shit that would anger an admin. Be respectful. If you're not respectful, don't be here. ***This is a debate†thread. †debate shall henceforth be known as discussion for the remainder of this thread so long as its tone is in regard to respectful representation and constructive conversation.
  11. Sorry, i wasn't sure if this was right. Turns out you can't set one on an iPhone. And shame on you, Erik for assuming I'm using Chrome.
  12. Morrowind was my first RPG. I played Skyrim before Oblivion, but have been captivated ever since Morrowind. The endless restarts, abandoning missions for years on end, and wandering aimlessly to sleep on the ground only to be awoken by the assassin that is destined to fail. Plus, they had spears and that was awesome. I've missed spears ever since.
  13. Princess Bubblegum rules Edit: The ads are annoying, but there are also lots of directions in which you can turn your eyes.

  15. I have gone through several of the faction lines, but the only time I actually decided to take the plunge through the final battle was when I was aligned with the Legion because 1) they have badass soldiers 2) it was a good use of my playstyle (medicine intelligence) and 3) I just !@#$ing loved sniping NCR troops with my RatSlayer right outside of Freeside. The second closest I ever got to completion was trying to acheive an independent NV, for moral reasons. I never played too far through the NCR though. Fallout: New Vegas has been the cornerstone upon which I measure all video game experience. It was, and is, and forever will be, my most marvelous experience with video games.
