  1. We should call it the viceroys war, because I'm optimistic.
  2. Then you have already lost.
  3. Damn. Now I need spies if I want to get involved in the memes.
  4. (Not sure where on the board is the appropriate place for this topic, so I'm just putting it in general discussion) The IIHL is a hockey league simulation game, intended to replicate the experience of running a fantasy sports team, but using imaginary players instead of real ones- allowing the league to play all year round, and allowing people to play without requiring a deep knowledge of NHL players across the league. The simulation plays out every pre-season game, regular season game, finals series game, arranges teams by divisional and league-wide ladders, and provides human players with the capacity to manage their team down to the individual player level, all the way from draft, through career progression and to their inevitable retirement, or until they are traded elsewhere. Human players compete against each other as team managers, all trying to push their team to be the very best in the league, and win it all. The league operates on an excel based scorinator, custom designed from the ground up for the purpose of the operation of this league. It was designed from square one to provide a simulation similar to the experience one might get from playing a browser based game functioning in the same manner. Roleplay is welcome, but not required from any participants, and the simulator does not make any concessions or result changes of any kind to facilitate the roleplay desires of any individual. The league has now been play-tested for a full 4 seasons by actual players (as well as various private tests done by myself), and is well balanced. It is not a complete picture of hockey- various things such as fights, penalties and injuries are not present but may be included in the future. If you want to take control of a team as general manager and play yourself, head to http://s15.zetaboards.com/IIHL/, read up on how the league works, and apply to start a new franchise.
  5. If you think I'm strutting, I'd hate to imagine what you think of Eumir/Charles/Chim/etc. I'm very specifically not rubbing things in because I'd prefer to see t$ and the NPO build some kind of trust in the future, not eternally seek to kill each other.
  6. Thanks for clarifying, then, because everyone I'm talking to was looking at those posts thinking you were referring to your own alliance. By the way, defaulting to assuming that The Syndicate has some kind of grudge against your alliance does not assist your alliance in any way.
  7. Then better go do something about all the "we" you put in that post.
  8. To be fair, BK has kicked an awful lot of butt this war.
  9. Only an average of 15ish posts a day for 10 years, and there's a hell of a lot of users and content on the (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) NPO board.
  10. Micro war! Let's all crowd around the little arena where the monkeys are knife fighting and bet money.
  11. This is a great treaty. I like all the parties involved.
  12. The idea of other games leaking into PnW is ridiculous. Cruor will never allow it.
  13. I'm not actually sure what the penalties are when you run out of food and run out of money. Does your nation just sit there and be pathetic indefinitely, or do other consequences occur?
  14. The uninvolved allies on either side could probably fund it indefinitely if they wanted to.
  15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BdhHtnqrIA
  16. We offered them white peace? Why? At least make people drink something outrageous and review it.
  17. Didn't list me so I voted Inst. That'll teach em.
  18. should've been hockey themed, take it back and try again. :<
