1. >t$ shows up >sees shtposts ending >MOMMM!!1 PULL THE PLUG >calls in Alpha/t$ argument airstrike
2. o/ Cornerstone, for being the aforementioned perfect ally o/ Alpha, for not being shtty in this agreement, and for making sense this time
3. Shoutout to the guys who blitzed meh, Krillian, Lilac, and Abbas. Pleasure fighting, y'all kept me on my toes! Nice seeing you guys every couple of months of course, but is it too much to hope that one day it'll be from the same side? :3 tl;dr: eat sht Lilac ;D
4. sounds good, guess im just late. i like manthrax's point, but i suppose my original concern is solved sooo how do you mark posts as solved on mobile?
5. i think a reasonable deterrent could be created by making the treasure alliance income bonus stop if the nation is VM'd, although thats kind of a half fix
6. https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=16494 dunno if this guy VM'd in order to avoid losing his treasure, but thats effectively whats happening right now. i'm not against VM at all, typing this while vacationing in Zion right now and totally understand the necessity of VM. but it would annoy me if treasure-holders started mass VM'ing at the outbreak of war to retain their treasures until the respawn period, which seems like a valid tactic right now. any way yall see to fix?
7. Hi Lord Bailan! Never played (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) but its all a ruse we are only being friendly to stab each other in the back later muahahahahahah sneky-snek slithers away (kidding, the people here are awesome)
8. not going to concern myself with the specifics of this but, is it anything like the Alpha/t$ treaty situation from months ago? because then YOUR SIDE DID IT FIRST OAIDOIASHDIOASID LETS ALL BE CRYBABIES YOU SHOULD CONDEMN ALPHA FIRST BEFORE YOU GO FOR TKR or lets fight that's more fun
9. everyone hates each other, i understand. but we should all agree that we needed a good military thrashing on both sides to release some steam ok, i've started mostly ignoring all the FA efforts as i can now enjoy the war bit. this is a pretty well matched war, i like this war. let's fight the good fight and chain more allies in to be part of the funfest!
10. well i don't care what Saru implies i <3 you purple bastards also ur decent at war, earned u some respeck on ur name
11. haha did i miss the original post when greatkitteh said 'i'm going to make as many for steve references as possible'
12. i said this before but i'll say it again: i think its a bit ridiculous to say that the 'PnW community hates NPO because it did well in (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways)'. this thread has been filled w/ prominent ppl from either sphere saying that they dont care about (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), and i believe them. the 'hate' yall are getting is simply coming from being a prominent member in your sphere. you came at a time when many of the other alliances have been defeated in sequence by t$ despite very strong odds, and so i think a lot of people see your alliance as one that could finally topple t$ and do it 1-0. all (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) gave you was a little bit of credibility amongst some of the seasoned players, the rest of us (read: most of Orbis) couldn't give two sh*ts about anything yall did in (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), and its foolish to claim otherwise.
13. Part of this is PR, correct, I mean that's why the post calls out Placentica publicly and asks him to answer and that's also why, in an attempt to save his PR, Placentica has refused to reply and instead screamed bloody murder about (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) being brought up at all instead of replying the the PnW discussion made in the OP. the forums is partially theater and everybody reading this hates it but reads it at the same time BECAUSE The other part of this is a legitimate attempt to get something done. It'll probably never happen because of the reasons outlined above, and everybody will hate this eventually because of all the constant point dodging. But we read and post and argue anyways in the hopes that someone will actually answer.
14. tbh i thought it was fine to make references to (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways). we can't pretend the games are unrelated and enforce some sort of 'no even mentioning (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways)' ban. stuff like Eumir's ongoing joke of making all his declarations 'join mi6' is fun imo and doesn't impact the game negatively at all. the stuff that we should be concerned about is policy changes, for example Alpha getting rolled in this game being a cause for mi6 apparently getting rolled in the other game is a concern, although its unprovable. ALSO REPLY TO THE ACTUAL POINTS MADE IN THE OP it's actually annoying how hard it is to get you to reply to a legitimate point
15. i like T-Ara btw So your point is that the PW community is out to get you as a whole, instead of just t$? I just don't see (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) NPO's success being the cause of anti-NPO sentiments at all: half of us don't play (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), and most of the other half don't like (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) (or thereabouts xD). 10x more likely is that NPO and t$ have both become visible standard bearers of their respective spheres and are subject to random attack at any time, which is why you ALSO see t$ being attacked 'regardless of our lack of action in this game'. It's unfortunate, it's annoying, and it's how the game works when you're the center of attention. Partisan is thus showing your recruitment tactic as a bit of a sham and is asking Placentica to explain, nothing else.
16. at this point i'm not sure if you are deliberately trying to obfuscate this or not but ill give you the benefit of the doubt and try to explain what the misconception is. Orbis NPO (read: 'your side') is recruiting from (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) NPO claiming that they need support in an imminent war against t$, using a decidedly out-of-context log from a non-government t$ member that involves your PnW nation, not your (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) one. We would appreciate a straightforward explanation rather than empty rhetoric. EDIT: the 'For Steve' discussion earlier in that post is simply an introduction to the log, literally Partisan says 'So that matter, while we frown upon it, is of little consequence to t$.' stop with this BS and talk about the point please
17. hey no ill will. i know there's supposed to be like two sides/spheres or whatever but everybody can save their squaring up for the week before the giant conflict, not months before it. (or in Alpha's case a month after :PPPP) congrats UPN/NPO, we'll see how this political move plays out!
18. i feel like im looking at my own war from the outside now
19. NAP is useless to t$, we don't trust you, yadda yadda yadda, anything Alpha could give in exchange for it? Money/resources? An agreement to let us whale on Steve for the next three months? Maybe that apology for that Eumir defamation (bit of a strong word, you know what i mean)? I'm no gov member but I know y'all need to start offering something back if you legitimately want this war to end with an NAP
20. So are we all agreeing that the NAP, even conditional, would weaken the ability of t$ to defend its allies, because the conditions provided are entirely subjective?
21. This war came about because Alpha gov was slandering us. The desire to smash Steve's face in did not come in until then (and is now satisfied, I mean look at his nation). My advice to Alpha is that if you want long-term peace, stop instigating war lmao. Steve, I'm not sure if you really think that t$ has some conspiracy against you. Honestly, we'd rather not deal with you: attacking you again means you talking to us for another month, and heaven knows what I'd give to stop that from happening xD. Obviously though, we'd protect our allies, and so I think this is an attempt to do some treaty manipulation later; especially since a time period of two months usually is equivalent to the next major war. The NAP cannot and will not happen, not because t$ has some secret plot to undermine you that would be magically foiled by an NAP (Partisan has already detailed why an NAP would be useless in that case), but because it weakens us when it comes to protection of our allies, and that is unacceptable. I'm not a high level gov member, but even I understand that.
