  1. We can't actually prove you did it on purpose, and in my opinion, it's just as likely that it's an accident. Right now, my compendium tracks 3 t$ e$ having been advantaged by the glitch, one Typhon accused of having been advantaged by the glitch, one Empyrea member having been advantaged by the glitch, and two GOONS members who have been advantaged by the glitch, one involving an alliance on their own sphere and involving a war that was quickly peaced out. The best response for all involved right now would be for Alex to announce the glitch, as well as that he's tracking the glitch, and that further incidents would be considered intentional and be punished by a nation strike. This should be reiterated on the naval attack page, or alternately, that naval attacks involve a pop-up that issues the glitch warning about the update. === The odd thing I would put, however, is that House Stark and so on have been encouraging naval-intensive warfare on nations that have been deprived of their infra, which would create an increased incidence of the glitch. I'd also point out that this glitch was reported a few updates ago, yet we had further incidents of this by t$/e$. It could be just the inability for information to trickle down to alliance members, but it would have been better if t$/e$ had avoided glitching or used "safe" wars involving members of their own coalition testing features.

  5. In the interests of full disclosure and fair play, I'm asking that we list all wars that have been affected by naval glitching here. These nations may or may not have self-reported. 6. Could you please have you or one of your members put up a full documentation of t$-e$ naval glitching into the "bug reports" section? We don't have an idea of the extent of glitch incidence. The apparent incidence rate is with this coming out of two t$-e$ nations so far. This is worth investigation, but does not indicate foul play. If it's significantly more extensive it will require a more critical investigation.
  7. reverted yet, at the last check of the war timeline. Will they be reverted? What about the recent ones by the t$ nation?
  8. This game probably doesn't even know what a Thucydides trap is.
  9. The wording is telling, isn't it? Forced. Like, it'd be against your nature to argue for your former treaty partner. Why have a treaty in the first place, then?
  10. Treaty already cancelled. So will you hit Interstellar?
  11. You're asking NPO to spam credits? You're asking NPO to spam credits? You're lucky they don't.
  12. Baseball with its sunk costs and repetitive cow-clicker mechanics is a means of player retention. I can support limiting baseball to a certain "sane" number of games per day, then decreasing baseball earnings as populations get baseball fatigue. But killing baseball altogether is a bad idea.
  13. 2 trililon? How about 2.5 trillion? You know it's the REAL Knightfall when damages exceed 2x "Knightfall".
  14. I'm aware of your current policy; just thought we'd get closer to 24 hours before the thing closed.
  15. It wouldn't be pragmatic to do so, would it?
  16. Wasn't expecting your auction to end so quickly, so might as well just get this competitor out of the way.
  17. e$ member. Possibly believed that he was going to get rescued by his alliance or something or that counters would be available, and then when it was obvious no help was forthcoming, resorted to navals. I'd also point out that the timeline chosen was merely the most egregious war. There were in fact three wars wherein we saw abnormal attack activity: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/war/timeline/war=518305 https://politicsandwar.com/nation/war/timeline/war=518171 https://politicsandwar.com/nation/war/timeline/war=518155 The total number of attacks launched was 17 naval attacks, 8 in one, 4 in another, and 5 in the last. This contributes to the primary report.
  18. TBH, there's a few things that definitely went wrong here. First, I know Josh and he's somewhat inexperienced. This thread should not have been posted in Alliance Affairs, to begin with. Likewise, keeping cheating accusations politically neutral until proven is important. Second, e$ should immediately 'fessed up that they had no idea what was going on, instead of being evasive. I'm assuming that's the case, because this has no strategic or tactical merit whatsoever. e$ and t$ know not to beige. Third, it is very possible that this is just an accident, i.e, a massive lag spike and multiple clicks on multiple open windows resulting in the war timeline we've seen here. But to know definitively what happens requires Alex's input. He will know if, say, the e$ member involved reported the incident before this hit the forums, and if not, will have to judge whether the exploiting was intentional or accidental.
  19. You were the first e$ responder and you began with evasiveness, instead of indicating that e$ is exploring the issue, whether it has been reported by the member, and so on. We're back to a he-said she-said situation, which requires Alex to clear it up. Can a moderator please lock this thread until Alex gets here? Moreover, this thread should be moved to Game Reports.
  20. We've had reported and upvoted propaganda about castrating Roquentin, so...
  21. If this thing is a bug, given what happened to Nova Riata as well as AK players, your member should have gone out and reported it immediately. Instead, no one reported the incident until BKNPO got a hold of it and used it to score cheap propaganda points. Even Empyrea reported the incident wherein they managed to launch more than the allowed number of attacks, iirc. Best damage control is to come clean about what happened and discipline your member, if they're allowed to remain in e$.
  22. The dumbest thing is that this isn't going to change the outcome of the war. Alex will pick up on it, revert the incident, perhaps issue nation strikes, and Syndicate either continues getting rolled or someone drops in to rescue.
  23. https://politicsandwar.com/nation/war/timeline/war=519201 Cypher is in House Stark's Bank Hide (Terminus BEst), which is linked to T$, which is also fighting BKNPO. @Cypher, no harsh feelings, if you can't explain yourself (i.e, erroneous targeting), please peace the war out. Not sure how @Alex might rule, however.
