  1. I figure most alliances would be wise enough to follow the simple rule of "Never declare a war you can't win."
  2. I wouldn't call a raid on a one-man alliance an "alliance affairs," personally.
  3. Oh, don't mistake me for one of those with a legitimate interest in mini spheres and things like that. I truly am a hammer person. It's my style of play to gather power and to wield it in order to impose my will whenever possible. I wear the villain crown with pride. 😘 I know you're being cheeky, but it really depends on what the objective is and how thorough the victory is. This game is made to make it tougher to force people to accept such terms compared to others, so I wouldn't expect it to be the norm at all.
  4. I'm gonna pretend you didn't just try to compare pixels in a browser-based nation game with the lives and blood of real people. 👀
  5. If you think a particular bloc is too big, my recommendation is to gather enough firepower to take them down and force them to split up. I wouldn't expect that a random thread chastising the community for not doing it for you would be especially effective.
  6. Are these beige changes going to come into effect? If so, when?
  7. A competent alliance will prefer members who are active on discord because it makes coordination a heck of a lot easier. For example, if you were running an alliance, would you rather have to log into the game and type up a private message or would it be easier to ping the member on discord and know that they will get the message and respond asap? I think the answer is fairly obvious.
  8. Truly, he's this game's mightiest forum warrior. Glad we have you here to defend his honor.
  9. You're definitely the coolest guy here. Thanks for the valuable contribution.
  10. Huh, this is awkward.. I thought for sure we'd find some cool stuff here. You talk so much crap to everyone that I really thought your name would be all over the place, but I only see a link to your nation. Maybe a little humility would be nice here on the forums, Mr. Mayor.
  11. Oh hey I have one of those, too. Not gonna post it since they're kinda silly, but cool! @Mayor, show us yours!! You've done cool stuff before, right?... right??
  12. All this time in the game and what accomplishments do you have to show for it? 🤣I'm sorry, but you talk way too much shit for such an irrelevant person.
  13. Having been on the top of that mountain myself in the past (not in PnW, but a similar game), I can confirm the only thing to do there is attack your ally (which is fun in those specific circumstances, don't get me wrong). It's mostly the thrill of hunting that elusive position than anything else that draws people to it. Nobody actually wants to stagnate the game by controlling everything, or at least not if they like having fun. I'd still do it again. It's not that much different from reaching the summit of a real mountain when you think about it. The journey is the point, I suppose you could say.
  14. Mr. Mayor over here really seems to have a problematic tendency to run his mouth saying stupid crap when he has no idea. Truly one of the worst posters. Also is apparently a super sore loser. Mayor, let me give you a piece of advice as a player who's seen it all before. When you lose in embarrassing fashion, that is the time to keep your head down and get to work. It's not the time to blab on the forums about how "actually, the winners are all bad for one stupid reason or another "
  15. Should be banned from the game imo. Don't see why anyone would want a person like this around at all.
  16. This is a total BS narrative contrived for the sole purpose of giving a moral justification for selfishness. These public assistance programs are there to help people survive the day-to-day, they are not meant to solve all of an individual's problems or to set them up for long-term success. Furthermore, if you are so concerned with giving individuals the tools they need to succeed in the modern economy, I would expect you to be advocating for full public funding of university students and vocational training as well as childcare for working single parents. Something tells me the same person who objects to giving the poor enough money to feed their kids for the month is not going to be particularly keen on that kind of spending. I know you spelled it differently, but I hereby revoke your right to wear the name Whiskers. You don't deserve the privilege.
  17. It's the spoon, isn't it?
  18. Pretty sure this is a shitpost, but these terms get the thumbs up from me. 😉
  19. Indeed. Guardian is here in PnW in the first place because of lil 'ol me, as our Declaration of Existence in the beta demonstrates. It's cool if you wanna think of me as a perma-newb, though.
  20. I can tolerate disagreement on pizza toppings, but I won't stand for slander against pineapple itself. You've gone too far.
  21. If "Posting like a newb" means "Saying things you don't like," then I guess I'm just a professional newb. A life-long newb, in fact. An eternal newb. Newberry runs through my veins and sustains me. It warms me through the long cold nights in the dead of winter. Your alliance knows that better than anyone, so go ahead and ask 'em. I wonder how it is such a newb like me hasn't been cast out from the world and shunned through all these years of newberry.
  22. Oh, honey. I've never been constrained by others' standards for mannerisms and I never will. If you didn't know, then now you do. I am me, y'all can like it or not. 😉
  23. I'm pretty sure it's an obvious and transparent attempt at trolling. Or maybe the ignorance runs deeper than I thought. 🤣
