  1. Clicked on this thread from the title expecting a half-garbled introduction by a hapless non-native English speaker, stayed for the tasty rhymes. Wlecome, Mr. Booty.
  2. Yeah, I'm with you on this. Being a small-alliance person and not really much for inter-alliance politics, I personally would like to be able to spend time messing with my nation's people some instead of them just being a glorified vehicle for building tanks and planes, when I'm not throwing my soldiers at random people. It doesn't have to be Nation Simulator Online, but it'd be nice to have some domestic issues to worry about that have an impact on how I play. I'm glad you brought this up again since I think it deserves more merit than many people seem to give it. There's plenty of grandstanding to go around between major alliances, but the game's not a whole lot of fun outside of that, IMO.

  4. It's just like the upkeep for military aircraft, but vastly more complicated since it's a far bigger and more intricate machine. I read somewhere that for every single flight-hour a fighter aircraft puts in, anywhere from 3 to 7 hours of maintenance need to be given to it, and even when those systems are just sitting on the ground you have to keep ensuring that nothing breaks or goes faulty, and replacing parts when it does.
  5. Yes, I've been very much interested in something of this nature. NationStates did a thing like this when the dev/s staged a Zombie Apocalypse for a day or so, early last year; I feel like it'd be really interesting to see how such an event plays out in P&W with actual gameplay. Something really hard-hitting and far-reaching that we can't necessarily stop or see coming but can do something about as you suggest would be really refreshing.
  6. I like this. Maybe make it such that the Killer Satellite requires an additional Laser Station to be built on the ground, to fire on enemy nukes/disrupt their electronics. Sort of like the laser-and-mirror ABM/ASAT experiments that were tried during the development of SDI. It would be amazing if through gradual introduction of mechanics like this the game grew to allow nations to build up infrastructure to expand and enable nations to bud off into space proper. Like as the world enters the late 21st and 22nd centuries and suchlike. I, for one, welcome our new freebooting space pirate overlords.
  7. Aw, I was hoping for retro-futuristic cars.

  9. Caldo has no money to offer, but we salute such a gracious move from the bear-people with our own artwork.
  10. Wow, he actually got deleted? Time to party. Too bad his multi's still kicking around, though.
  11. And after a long night of violence, the war on my front concludes. It seems I simply didn't have enough ground force capability to counteract the cheater's tank battalions, which have driven me to beige. I mounted an initial ground offensive at the start, and that, perhaps, as well as my timing, was my undoing. I had struck before preparing a significant force of aircraft, hoping that I would be able to damage the cheater on land and gain ground control with my fairly significant army. Although I was able, midway through the war, to mount a significant force of aircraft, the squadrons I launched could not break through to bomb his cities. Nevertheless, I did manage to inflict a couple dozen infra damage with my naval units, so I'll consider that a small victory. Sorry, ladies and gents. Thank you all again for all the support; with luck and greater preparedness the next contender(s) will fare far better. This has been a learning experience, at least.

    Those darn humans!
  13. Trade is back on the table for the time being with 200 gas EDIT and 200 munitions at market prices. I've got him blockaded, but he's currently got the grips on me with one ground victory left to beiging; we'll see what happens next. Thanks, again, to all supporting so far. If any of you with spies have espionage runs left, attempts on his air force and/or tank brigades are extremely appreciated, if that's possible. If not, thanks anyway. EDIT 2: Now buying steel, and selling 50 remaining munitions.
  14. I support this. It might also be useful for giving an idea at a glance of whether someone's been alliance-hopping.
  15. I shall marshal my assembly lines to the task. Thank you; I'll PM you. And on that note, while I do also need physical resources, the thing I'm currently most lacking is cash munz. I've got some active trades up, so if anyone would like to take a couple hundred tons of aluminum, bauxite, and lead off of me in exchange for some warmachine funds, I'd be immensely grateful. EDIT: Trades complete. Of course, any assistance you wish to provide otherwise is nonetheless always appreciated. Appreciated! Roaaaar raaaaa aaaar! (Thank you, Big B!) proceed
  16. I will do my darnedest! Thank you, again, to those supporting.
  17. The Chairwoman salutes her people, and her audience As I'm sure many of you are aware, S Africa is a multi of Byron White is funded by (practically) stolen/hoarded Frontier Sort Alliance members' tax money. With a mind to wearing down some of this smug yokel's precious pixels, the Hornlands have declared war upon S Africa. Although my stockpiles are reasonably deep, I'm not expecting to come out without some major wounds here. But, as well, I probably won't be able to deal a large amount of damage by myself against 1,300 tanks on top of 15,000 soldiers' worth in daily recruitment capability. Thus, any assistance you lot would be interested in offering is muchly appreciated, whether it be a spot of gas or a partner in battle. And if not - then thanks for reading. I also applaud the fine scoundrels of Arrgh for their bravery in battle against White's sockpuppet. Cheers to you all; Chairwoman Erin

So, why do all the little unknown multi-ers get banned but this guy stays afloat forever?
  19. I've also declared. Here's to a challenging fight.
  20. Ultra, your waifu calls to you "Come home, dear."
