  1. Don't pay attention to him Pedata, he just wants you to get flamed :-p.
  2. Lol :-p. Or maybe it's just something to do. Honestly, I think it'd be nice if we had other possible objectives. Like maybe nations start getting coastal floods due to global warming and they need to work with other nations (and maybe even other Alliances and Blocs) on building walls to stop the flooding or something -.-
  3. Not so long ago, yes, your Bloc's allies...
  4. You, me and FREE DEBATE I guess, lol :-p.
  5. Heard someone playing this today, got stuck in my head...
  6. Im37 (Rose) made it briefly into the top 25 on Day 1, but by the end of Day 2, he was out. El Dorado (TFP) started out in 3rd place, but by Day 3, he was also out. Rose has more of a presence in the second time lapse, the one with Oasis/Rose/Mystery Inc only. The only other non Hollywood player to make it to the top 25 was Cocania (KT), who made his debut on Day 12 and got into the top 10 by Day 18, where he stayed until the end. I think the timelapse makes it absolutely clear that even -with- 1 1/2 spheres jumping in to help Rose Sphere, Hollywood was still dog piling at the top. Rose does have a significant presence in the second timelapse that excludes Hollywood though.
  7. There are more ways to fight a war than duking it out with armies.
  8. All I know is that Hollywood dominated the upper tier and this may have cascaded downwards. As I said, I'm no expert on this, was just going by what I heard. Pretty sad when you take what I did and generalize it for an entire coalition -.- In a previous Alliance and Global I was in, targets were presented as good candidates and I attacked them.
  9. I'm only stating what I and others suspect. I'm not saying I've done a detailed study on the matter. Another point, being able to pin down the top tier can have a cascading effect all the way down. I certainly don't like wars, but in point of fact, no one asked me to attack anyone while I was in Mystery Inc. I did engage in some spy assassinations upon request though.
  10. I joined Mystery Inc. when they were -already at war- while the Alliance I was in wasn't in a war at all. If I was so war averse, I wouldn't have done that. I didn't leave because of the war, but for other reasons. A lot easier to fight a lot of wars if most of them are down declares. I'm not saying I know all the reasons for the disparity, but I suspect this may be the main one.
  11. I'm not with Delta anymore :-p. I was actually in Mystery Inc for part of the war.
  12. Can we at least agree that Hollywood did just fine against 2 1/2 spheres?
  13. Based on what I've been hearing, you may well be right in terms of coordination. I've also been hearing that the Hollywood whales covered the upper tier, letting everyone else down declare. The bottom line remains the same, only together did these Blocs have any chance of putting a dent in Hollywood.
  14. So it's fine when Hollywood does pr, but anyone critiquing them is "propaganda", got it. Bottom line, Oasis et al was right, Hollywood can only be dented with multiple spheres countering.
  15. You can't have it both ways. Either you guys beat all the Blocs combined in damages or you didn't.
  16. I still remember the time when Hollywood was saying how unfair it was that multiple spheres were ganging up on Hollywood. How the times have changed.
  17. I think what would be better is if a party that wanted out of the war offered to surrender and, if accepted by the other side, the surrendering party would have their resistance zeroed out and their loot taken as they would had they gotten defeated the regular way and would also get a Defeat and beiged, while the other party would get a Victory. What I think would be even better is if terms could be negotiated, which is a feature that a certain other war game has. Would be nice if I could mention it here, so developers could see how they do it if interested.
  18. Barring NPO like conflicts, I don't think there's not much concern about there only being 2 sides to a war. Anyway, you can bring up goals, aspirations or whatever else you like. Bottom line, they helped you out when you were attacked in the last Global and now instead of helping them when their Sphere is getting attacked, you're part of the attack. This kind of reminds me of how HM refused to reveal the "Secret HM Leader" -during- the Leaky Faucet conflict even as Swamp was countering for you guys. All I can say is that if -I- were a different sphere and some other Sphere attacked you again, I can easily see the wisdom of not helping out again.
