  1. Admirable, not sure if that's the best sentiment though... just thinking
  2. So here's a problem I'm running into. I want to tax some resources at one rate, and others at a different one. Is there a way we could get this implemented?
  3. Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine
  4. Save the Children, Embargo Myriad! Byron White attacked a helpless nation and forced him to join his alliance to achieve peace. If that wasn't heinous enough, he then threatened him with a devastating war if he ever tried to leave. Save the poor women and children from a horrible fate at this savages' hand. Embargo today!
  5. I know I can search up to 1000 messages per page (as I just did it) but still there /should/ be a search function
  6. Just a quick request. Can we get a way to search our mailbox for messages to/from someone? I want to double check if I sent someone a message, but the only way currently is to go page by page through my 1200+ messages.
  7. Withdrawal/Deposit Amount: 500,000 on behalf of the Celestial Union
  8. Little late to the party, but I've embargoed cause what he did is still dickish.
  9. Love that idea, Wiliam. Also Ashland, whats the procedure for your Wealth Savings program? It didn't include any details (yet).
  10. I'm now just as guilty here, but come on guys, are we seriously still feeding him? Maybe he wanted to get more active on the forums, maybe he didn't realize he was doing anything wrong, personally though, I don't exactly see that as likely. At this point though, I just feel like we're merely feeding into his need to be given attention. Here's hoping I am completely off base.
  11. I think that in order for you to set up a lending system, you'd probably want to have credentialing and a credit rating for each person borrowing money. Maybe have someone work up to larger loans. Also have preferred rates for members whose alliances would guarantee either all or part of the loan. Just thinking out loud here.
  12. Just had another thought that I'd love to be able to see all the announcements ever posted. Could we get a page scroller similar to the search listing one?
  13. I find myself wanting to donate for multiple options, but not wanting to have multiple charges on my screen. Adding a cart feature would allow me to buy multiple flags, an avatar, stuff like that, while only having a single transaction show up on my credit card. It would also be good for Sheepy since there would only be one fee instead of several.
  14. I voted Pubstomper, but Prefontaine is a close second in my book. EDIT: I went back and voted for both Pub and Pre.
  15. Sorry to tag along here, but from what you're saying in this thread, is this suggest actually a bug? http://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/3317-set-a-single-server-time-for-all-players/
  16. Ashland, while that may (or may not, I really couldn't say) be his ulterior motive for supporting this suggestion, I don't think it's a bad one. Let's be real here for a moment. Right now either a lazy person, or a diabolical person, or just a plain inconsiderate person for that matter, can post up a crapton of offers at, lets say 1000 units each for some substantially lower price. Now, if it's the latter, they may not even have those resources right after they post them. Then the market is spammed with uncompletable offers, right? If it's a lazy person, he (or she... nah, women aren't lazy, right?) can just post up an offer of 3 something at one rate, when it goes down he posts again, etc. etc. We still result in a bunch of uncompletable offers. So those who are trying to buy the valid offers will buy those, and then the lazy person's offers will be bunched around, thus still reducing the market's price.
  17. I agree that 1 buy and 1 sell should be sufficient, and I would go as far as to suggest that if an existing offer already exists, if you try to post a new offer it simply overwrites the existing one. This way even if you aren't paying attention and forget to remove the existing offer, you wont have to go back, remove the offer, and then post a new one. Saves time and hassle.
  18. Admittedly I haven't read this entire thread. Lot of text walls to read. Far as I'm concerned, having alliances treaty is an old and out-modded concept. Are nations giving up their sovereignty to their alliance like in (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), or are we merely working together to achieve a common goal? I'm hoping for the latter, in which case, lets shove the treaty paper into the canons and utilize friendship and actual relations. All in all, paperless = more chances for dynamic fun
