We have faced another tragic attack. It is with no doubt that the SARF is to blame. They have killed thousands more once again. They have left this country in distraught. Terrified. Scared. We have looked at all of the evidence; the missing senators from the vote yesterday, the terrorists who got aid from Semyon Marshenko. They were all the cause of this attack. We are hiding from a minority. A dangerous one. Now is not the time to hide. We must not give up! I hereby declare war on the SARF! We must eradicate these terrorists. They claim we are fascists and infidels. They think all Sunnis are stupid and they only care about themselves. Sergei Sebdonov and all known SAF members are now on the terror watch list. They also are now being under surveillance by the KIA. He will be the SARF's general in this war." Semyon Marshenko: "We also freed Abdul Ali as well. You betrayed me Vladimir Zhogin, so you will be killed along with the rest of you Zhoginists." Andrej Vishtodos: "Oh, Lucia, it was fun holding you captive when I did. Be prepared." Semyon Marshenko: "Yes, be prepared Vladimir Zhogin. Be prepared." Vladimir Zhogin: "I call for a state of emergency. All men, women, and children must go indoors, into their basement. We are setting up war shelters and refugee camps for the misplaced. Khayri Zalenko and I will be leading the troops to defeat these insurgents."

Interview with The Governor. After locking himself away in his private quarters for a week, The Governor has finally spoken out about the severed heads he kept in his office, and about the war with International Revolution. The Governor agreed to an interview here at Woodbury news. This interview took place on December 9th, 1997 Milton Mamet: "Hello, Governor. Nice to meet you." The Governor: "Nice to meet you, Milton." Milton Mamet: "Alright, well we have quite a few questions to ask you, so I'd say we should get this show on the road." The Governor: "Very well." Milton Mamet: "Well, as you probably know, the people of Woodbury are losing faith in your leadership. What do you have to say to those people who don't believe you are able to rule anymore?" The Governor: "I think people have gotten the wrong idea about me. I'm just a guy trying to do right by the people he cares about. Truth is, I didn't want any of this. I didn’t want to be the leader. But weak leadership kept showing up and that scared me and forced me to take action. The people, they chose me because there wasn't anyone else around. I know I'm the only man that can keep them safe because you have to go to extremes to do that." Milton Mamet: "You say you care about your people, and that you want to keep them safe; and yet you shot three protestors who were Woodbury citizens." The Governor: "The thing is, when you're the leader, you have to make tough calls. Those protestors I put down, they were traitors. Our intelligence found out that they were International Revolution Sympathizers, and had plans for domestic terrorism. You have to eliminate a threat before it becomes a threat." Milton Mamet: "So now the topic that everyone is wondering about; the heads. Why did you have severed heads in fish tanks hidden in your private office?" How much longer will the conflict with them continue?" The Governor: "While the war does look like it's slowly waning, I can't say for sure how much longer it will last. But I assure the people of Woodbury, despite our cities being struck with several missiles, we have won every single battle against IR. Victory is close at hand."
