Ekejen Luish
I, Emperor Golen II, am proud to declare the existence of a new alliance: Quantum! We are Quantum. An alliance that will fight to the death to defend our freedom. We will continuously grow, and any nation that attacks us will leave in defeat. We are strong, we are the oncoming storm. Beware, Orbis! Our gov: Alpha Supreme Minister: Has infinite power, however a good ASM will follow the guidelines of allowing the rest of the government to vote on important decisions. Supreme Minister: Each controls a various part of the alliance. The SM of Foreign Affairs shall be an ambassador and a voice for Quantum when treaties are being created. SM War will be in charge of war, and has the power to direct the alliance during war. A good SM War is intelligent and experienced. SM Internal Affairs will be in charge of... well, Internal Affairs. The SM Internal Affairs will be in charge of the Ministry (except with appointed tasks), and will promote when required. Minister: There can be several Ministers for each department. Depending on what department they are in, they will receive a SM to direct them. They must do whatever their SM tells them to do, and should any SM resign or leave, the SM Internal Affairs will promote one M to fill in their place. Deputy Minister: The lowest rank. Has very little power, other than having a voice in votes. o/ Quantum Quote This is very small
Rozalia
Taking another shot at running an alliance eh? Cool. A.S.M.: Golen IIS.M. Foreign Affairs: VacantS.M. War: VacantS.M. Internal Affairs: VacantS.M. Finance: VacantM. Foreign Affairs: VacantM. War: VacantM. Internal Affairs: VacantM. Finance: Vacant My suggestion to you would be not bothering with all the above ranks. Way too many ranks when you've not yet recruited anyone, and if you give ranks to people as they join to fill them then they'll have no real worth anyway as every member will then be in gov simply for being a member and not for any real competency. Lilac Veritas
A DoE for an alliance with one member and no protection? Good luck. Also yeah, that is a needlessly complicated government for a micro. Heck, Rose only has 7 high gov, and 5 Imperial Guards for an alliance of 77. Just give a few positions based on need and merit. Pretty good advice here. It's easy to be tempted to hand out government positions just to fill the spots, but that's really not the best way to go about it. Noir, for example, only has three current government members: Me, Jodo and Conroy. The Triumvirate. Does that mean we don't have any other positions or members we could give them to? Not at all. It just means that we haven't filled the positions. We're not in any particular rush to do so because we feel good about getting the work done with just us three, and want to make sure the government we select can be trusted to stay long-term and do their job effectively. Kurdanak
I, too, think you should flesh out these plans more before diving in with the sharks. But if you think you've got it, good luck to you.
