You can't possibly hold all territory from the eastern most tip of Siberia to western France. You just don't have the manpower. I mean, you could try, but with my country funding all these different resistance groups, it won't be hard to for them to declare independence, get their country back, and fight Russia on their own terms. I already got an army in Normandy and you're not responding to decisively to it.

 

The Cypriot-British forces declare victory in the Mediterranean as the Russians did literally nothing to repel the constant attacks on their fleet outside what use to be Israel.

Canadian National Update Month 5 (Late)

 

Hey, we're back, ladies and gentlemen.

 

The Royal Canadian Army has pushed into German-Soviet occupied Sweden. Taking the cities of Umea, Gothenburg and Malmo, they have now secured 3 major cities in Sweden and the North, West and South regions of Sweden along with significant supplies of iron ore. 

 

The Russians have not enough manpower to cover such a large area and a victory in Sweden is imminent. Talks with the Swedish Government-In-Exile are in place in Ottawa, they agree to become an autonomous province/overseas territory, kinda - of Canada.

 

The Canadian missile defense system has been expanded, and a nuclear bomb is slowly starting to take shape. Canadian researchers estimate that a test can be done as soon as next month ~ however success is not guaranteed as the Swedish documents may not be entirely reliable, and several mistakes have already been found by Canadian researchers.

 

The military alliance with Britain continues. The offer for a MDoAP with South Africa is still lying on the table.

 

Meanwhile, the Canadian 7th Infantry Battalion, Meet Me In Hell, the 8th Infantry Battalion, Canada's Assassins, the 2nd Armored Battalion, Invincible, the 4th Aerial Battalion, Destroyers Of The Air and the 1st Naval Battalion, Total Control land at Amsterdam, helping to liberate the Low Countries. The 1st Canadian Assistance Team, Dunking Donuts, lands at Calais. The 1st CAT is comprised of many battalions, infantry, armored, naval and aerial, designed to relieve stress off of British troops.

 

Canadian troops take Amsterdam and Calais, however with much higher than expected casualties.

Western France, consisting of Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Paris and their surrounding regions would go to Britain, meanwhile Lilles, Marseille, Amiens, Alsace-Lorraine and Corsica would be Canadian. We think that this deal is fair as it would greatly help the British reduce casualties, meanwhile Canada gets the emptier Eastern side of France and Benelux, and Britain the heavily populated more important Western side of France.

 

Meanwhile, back home, conscription increases and factories are now receiving many government subsidies to produce military materials at top speed. 

 

In the Americas, Mexico, Brazil and Venezuela continue fighting against the USA. The USA has retaken New Mexico from Mexico, and has kicked the Venezuelans out of Louisiana thus saving an enormous amount of troops stationed in New Orleans. However, Mexico has retaken the region of Chihuahua, Brazil has taken Oklahoma and Venezuela has taken Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. Canadian troops have not yet arrived, and the future of the USA seems grim.

 

Lumber is now the primary source of fuel, from renewable forests that are replanted once cut down - coal is now being used to fuel ships. Gasoline is now illegal to use for home heating, and can only be used in factories producing military items or essential items to the people. Food rationing cards continue, come and get yours/claim your food at your neighborhood station. Anyone born on July 23 or December 19, 1970-1980, is now required to come up for military service. Conscription has now been increased from 1 day,  5 years to 2 days, 10 years.

Imperialism will not be how the stresses and hardship caused by this World War will be fixed. Our french allies deserve to have their own, independent country.

 

This is assuming Canada means control of these areas until after the war. If Canada means that this is for occupational purposes for defense, then we are open to the suggestion.

Government Of Canada News Broadcast, Day 6

 

After hearing Britain's response to the proposed split of France, Canada drops the proposal - however we do think it could be used for defense - the fresh new Canadian soldiers would hold the front-lines while the British soldiers rested seeing as they have been defending the British Isles for a long time already ~ then when the British troops are healed we would charge into Germany and the area together. The French Government In Exile has given approval to this plan and admits it would be beneficial to them too.

 

The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg have agreed to become three autonomous provinces of Canada if they are liberated.

 

Sweden falls to the Canadians ~ Stockholm has been captured. Sweden is now an autonomous province of Canada with government buildings in Stockholm and Ottawa.

 

Canadian troops take The Hague in the Netherlands, and a successful paratrooper landing at Antwerp, a one of a kind paratrooper operation, has succeeded.

 

Meanwhile, back in America, the USA has managed to stop the invaders at their current boundaries in a costly operation. The USA begs for Canada's help now ~ however Canadians are reluctant to do so due to the USA's refusal to help Canada in their plan to hit against the communist/dictators. Also, many troops originally prepared for the American operation have been sent overseas to help...

 

Canada tested our first nuclear bomb at Bikini Atoll, an inhabitable island destroyed by American nuke testing. Canada's nuclear bomb did not work the way we wanted it to , despite causing large amounts of damage.

 

No new rationing rules, etc have been started.

Israel wishes to thank both South Africa and the United Kingdom for their offers to allow us into their country, and after a discussion between the IDF and government officials, a decision has been reached to evacuate to the United Kingdom. Those requiring medical attention are already being evacuated.

Canadian National Update Month 6 

 

The Eastern side of France has been liberated, along with Benelux. Canadian troops also occupy the areas left alone by Britain, and thank the Government of Britain. Referendums are given to all 4 nations, asking them if they wish to become independent, or remain as a autonomous territory of Canada. The Netherlands overwhelmingly vote for autonomy, with 90% supporting Canada. In Belgium, the autonomy cause wins slightly, with 52.55% of citizens agreeing.

 

In Luxembourg, only 20% of the population wishes to remain an autonomous province of Canada. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg's government is reinstated and Canadian troops back out of Luxembourg. 

 

In France, elections are held in each province due to the sheer size of the country. The southern provinces and Corsica wish to remain independent, and so they do. The Southern French Republic is formed. However, the citizens of Corsica refuse to join the Southern French Republic, and thus the United States of Corsica are formed.

 

The northern provinces of France - Nord-Pas-De-Calais, Picardie, Champagne-Ardenne, Lorraine and Alsace decide to join Canada, each province becomes an autonomous territory of Canada. 

 

Also, in a applauded move all around Europe, the Canadian Government establishes 3 governmental bodies to keep the autonomous provinces in check and united - The Canadian-French Council, The Canadian-Benelux Council and the Canadian-Scandinavian Council.

 

France is now split up into a confusing split ~ The French Republic (British part of France, now independent), The Southern French Republic (formerly Canadian, now independent), The United States of Corsica (formerly Canadian, now independent), and the autonomous northern part of France, commonly known as the Canadian-French Region. 

 

Canada agrees to the ODP with Rekishstein.

 

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, the United States makes advances into Mexico. In one of the most heroic advances in history, the Americans manage to push down to the city of Durango and stop in a valley slightly outside of the city. Mexicans occupy the other side of the valley, which is more like a canyon. Brazil and Venezuela continue their advances into the Eastern USA. The Venezuelans are stopped just outside Myrtle Beach, while the Brazilians advance to Colorado Springs and Kansas City.

 

The USA begs for Canada's help, but conscription is not effective enough yet to send down large numbers of troops.

In Chinese front, Indonesian contingent supported by Chinese main force launches raids against Japanese lines, in Changchun the construction of defensive bases are severely slowed down by Indonesian raids. Indonesian force in China suffers a moderate amount of casualties, but reinforcements are immediately sent from home.

 

In South East Asia, Indonesia launches a major operation to take over and annex the Phillipines. It's a major success and Indonesia are able to set up a naval base to weaken Japan's influence in the Pacific.

 

Indonesia is halfway in long-range missile development, however Indonesia are able to develop anti-missile technology because of the research.
