What's your political outlook?

You are a: Right-Leaning Libertarian Non-Interventionist Humanist Reactionary

Collectivism score: -17%
Authoritarianism score: -50%
Internationalism score: -17%
Tribalism score: -67%
Liberalism score: -67%

Sounds pretty accurate to me, although "Reactionary" can mean a lot of different things. I see myself as centrist rather than right-leaning in an American context, but maybe this quiz has a European outlook?

I already now my political leaning and I don't need this test to tell me, especially when it doesn't have any clue what I am. I'll just drop this test here:

World's Smallest Political Quiz

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 20%

Your ECONOMICS issues Score is 10%

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...

STATIST (BIG GOVERNMENT)

This test is published by the Advocates for Self-Government, a libertarian political group (if you're willing to wait ten minutes for the page to load fully, you will be offered "the tools and training to spread the LIBERTARIAN MESSAGE"). Biased? Definitely. The questions are all worded in such a way that answering them positively will push you towards a more "libertarian" score, while answering them negatively will push you towards a more "statist" score. This test is no better than the lengthier, more convoluted one in the OP, unless your first and only criterion for a high-quality political test is its brevity.

But then, libertarians do prefer everything small, don't they? :P

So we do :P

But the issue with a political test is that they are nearly always wrong. You should find your political leaning by yourself. I decided I was a libertarian by research and thinking. Although controversly I still think the best form of government is a benevolent dictatorship :P

That was a total BS and very generalizing quiz.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 100% Your ECONOMICS issues Score is 50%

Liberals usually embrace freedom of choice in personal matters, but tend to support significant government control of the economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net" to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations, defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.

It is just a matter of opinion. Besides the only elected form of government I think worked was the Romans but even that had its flaws.

Translation: I don't know anything about the Roman Republic beyond what I learned in Primary Education.

"Had its flaws". Hell yeah they had their flaws, I've barely even gotten into Roman history and all I can say is the Roman Republic was some messed up shit. People just ran around plotting to overthrow the republic and kill people left and right. It was a mess at many points.

Look Rome itself had issues but the government they created was actually decent. They had a senate to represent the rich and the house of plebeians to represent the poor. They had two consuls to rule Rome and balance each other. When you think of it that actually would be very effective, if people weren't human. The issue is that power attracts the corruptible and no government can prevent that. While the people of Rome had issues the government idea was actually very modern and advanced. It tried to do its best to rule a city and its surrounding lands once Rome expanded beyond the immediate lands around it failure was inevitable. However just because the people messed up doesn't mean the idea itself is flawed beyond repair. The Republic can teach you many things like as a city state Rome was powerful as its people had a government they could trust. It ran smoothly codified laws for the people and even helped them understand the law code. That is an effective government. Of course no government can stand the tests of time and humans will always try and take power for themselves. That is why we have generals marching on Rome and Senators backstabbing each other. But if we could eliminate those problems (impossible I know) the Roman Republic Idea would be one of the best governments in existence as the Rich are happy and the Poor are happy. Also I did study the Republic beyond what school taught me. In fact I love to study history and Rome actually did the best with a representative government in the short time it was truly a Republic. See you have to remember that just because the country failed doesn't mean their idea was flawed. I mean look at the amount of communists in the world and the USSR fell. The Roman Idea is not a failure it just needs tweaking.

I can definitely agree with you on a lot of these points. Biggest thing is that it's always better in theory. Roman model was bound for disaster though. It can be a fun read at least.

That is definitely true. When you think about though a small city could run off the Roman model. A country no, but a city maybe. We may never know but it is fun to speculate :)

I agree wholeheartedly with everything stated here. I also discovered my political ideology by conducting independent research and listening to anyone willing to talk about anything vaguely political with me, and my ideology also happens to be somewhat anti-democratic in nature.

Democracy sucks because it's slow and has humans at the centre of it, the concept though is rather sound.
