Diocletian Posted November 16, 2014 Share Posted November 16, 2014 First off I want to take this opportunity to say that I really dig the way this game feels a bit like (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways), only more in-depth and detailed. Anyway, my name's Sam, I'm a web designer novice, 25 years old and an obvious noob to this, if anyone's got some tips to share I'd be appreciative for any and all. With that being said, I'm stoked to meet and play the game with everyone and wish all well! I'm a database developer(Lotus Notes), but I've moved on to web design, and I've fallen in love with bootstrap. I feel like web design is made easy with bootstrap and I can focus on getting the code to work(pulling data, writing data, etc) and let bootstrap handle most of the UI for me. All I need to do is use the right css classes and it all works great. Do you use Bootstrap at all or have you tried a different framework? I started off with drag and drop sites now I do most of my coding with MS Word. It's extremely grueling at times but once I got the hang of it it's been a breeze ever since. Though truth told with full time work at hand, I have very little time to design much anymore. A couple buddies and myself are trying to save up the cash to get an android app idea we brainstormed a while ago up and running. So we'll probably be using Eclipse for most of that design process.
