Hereno Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 The Holy Imperial League recently re-accepted Subin, the idiot we were raiding, back into their alliance and made him the leader. No, seriously, they really did. At first I was like "what", but then I realized that the smart dude who had negotiated with me before has since left the alliance. If they kicked him out that would be hilarious, but hopefully he took my advice and left the sinking ship while he still could. The Socialist International no longer recognizes the Holy Imperial League as an alliance, and their members can be raided at will and without consequences by anybody low enough in SOCINT to actually be in range. As for Subin, he is no longer on our shit list. Not really because he got what he deserved, but because he's so low in score that I'm not sure if we'll actually be able to hit him when he comes out of beige. Negotiating with you was probably the least enjoyable thing I've had to do as President. If you want some sound advice, mine is to join a real alliance who knows what they're doing. Even if you just break away later, you'll be in a better position to be a real leader, rather than just getting your alliance smashed to bits through your own ignorance. Make no mistake about it: you've been treated more than fairly by EoS and by SOCINT. Sometimes it's just better to cut your losses and fold. You aren't bad, you just have some things to learn about how alliance affairs work. If you are willing to learn I am sure we can find a place for you at Atlas, as long as you don't do anything crazy. Actually they aren't "good guys" we don't really have anything against them. What we have a problem with is the raiding of our AA and then lying to our President's face. You then re-accepted someone who was clearly still on our !@#$-list for hitting our member without even talking to us and are now trying to play the martyr card. There is no excusing your actions but as others have said if you're willing to learn there are plenty of Alliances in this game who can teach you all you need to know about this game. TL;DR: I'm 12 and I like to use caps lock, bold words with colors, and random size lettering when I'm typing because I'm bad at trash talking and comebacks. Nobody thinks you're a "bad person" just a bad player, for now. Join another AA, learn from people who have been in charge for awhile or who have played other browser based games, you'll learn and you'll come back better than before. You have the one thing that is needed in an AA leader, willingness to lead and take the risk at being in charge, it's a shit job and somebody has to do it and you decided that you would fill that roll, so kudos. This is true, Lucy, but in the event you promise to keep your head down and remain loyal, I can personally arrange for your application into the Socialist International to be approved. That said, we won't be getting in the way of the people who are rightfully raiding you right now in retribution for your attacks on their alliance, especially since EoS has been pleasant in previous communications. We will, however, do the negotiating for your release, with your permission, which is probably a good idea given the circumstances. Offer expires in 48 hours. Consider your options and let me know. e: Just to clarify and prevent confusion, it isn't my intention to put pressure on anyone to release you prematurely.
