• Makes nuclear weapons more effective in damage, making them more useful.  + 1
• Means people will think more before lobbing nukes  + 1
• Slows down the damn growth of mega nations and helps block inflation  + 1
• Allows new ways of playing the market  + 1
• Creates some interesting political dynamics from the effects.  + 1

 

 

Bad:

• OMG, I DON'T MAKE AS MUCH MONEY, I GET LESS PIXELS!!!. *CRY CRY CRY*  + 0

Net Good = 5

Net Bad = 0

-Beiges nations, allowing you to tear through an enemy coalition at your leisure.

 

Bad:

-If you are unlucky enough to be tied to someone who nukes too much, it allows the enemy to tear through your coalition at their leisure.

Here's what I've observed from this war:

  If by effective you mean hurting your own nation as well, yes they're more effective.
• Means people will think more before lobbing nukes  + 1
  Nope. Alliances that are losing and cornered will throw out nukes regardless.
• Slows down the damn growth of mega nations and helps block inflation  + 1
  If anything, food prices become inflated. I doubt any mega nation will be seriously slowed down because they produce less food.
• Allows new ways of playing the market  + 1
  Because playing the food market is sooooo important.
• Creates some interesting political dynamics from the effects.  + 1

You're hurting yourself by buying nukes in the first place due to the cost and upkeep.

If they have to spend their money buying up food? Yes they will.
