  1. What is an example of a "strategic gain" gained from war?
  2. MY OLD BUDDIES !!!! Honestly I missed our forum games we had together. Especially our collaborative Let's Write A Story. I don't know how the * we progressed the story from farmers surviving in apocalyptic bunkers to banging club hoes. lmfao!
  3. You guys are a great alliance. Just hated the fact that you are using the brown color. lol
  4. treasures being 2 months still doesn't worth the effort going to war with them. I would make it every 4 or 6 months respawn.
  5. Nation Name: 300 Spartans Nation Link: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=6206
  6. Its a fun idea. Certainly adds more to the political table/discussion.
  7. Great! Let's fill out our carts with the barrels of rum and we shall have a feast! May our merchants retain their profits and our two alliances prosper economically!
  8. As the FA of TEL. I would now state that TEL would love to share markets with the Hard-Neutrals of Sigma. As we too advocate for economic prosperity, peace and growth. Even better that we will be the first to honor a fine market-sharing pact with Sigma!
  9. a... a... a TALKING KITTY!? What about the prices spike?
  10. How much is the membership fee to your special WWF gym with Mr McMan?
  11. Ofcourse! Who wouldn't fight for a damsel in distress? Some go to war for Power. Some for Land. Some for Glory. But it seems going to war for love makes most sense. lmfao
  12. ... Well at least this post has ACE'S AWARD FOR THE HOTTEST TOPIC OF 2015 JANUARY!
  13. Thank you James for this very nice question. I believe a beautiful poem can be made just to answer your questions in detail. But in the simplest terms. It all comes down to one word, "Elysian". That stands for Heavenly & Paradise. We are a shelter for those kind souls that seek it. But only those souls who are virtuous, considerate and respectful for all alliances, nations & beliefs earn the right to represent The Elysian League (TEL). "I see the entire world as Eden, and every time you take an inch of it away, you must do so with respect." Joni Mitchell
  14. This looks very nice. I like the modern design. Except the fonts become a bit harder to read. Can something be done about the readability? I hate when sites start to use the grey-fronts. It hurts my eyes. I prefer #000000 pure BLACK fonts.

  19. WARNING Before reading make sure to consult your local doctor if you won't get a heart-attack from nerd-raging. From: Sam Date: 12/15/2014 Monday 5:57 pm President Sam of Norfican ordered an airstrike upon your nation of 300 Spartans. The attack was an immense triumph. Sorry to do this mate but war is part of the game. From: Ace Date: 12/15/2014 Monday 9:46 pm I remember SG is a friend of Rose's... I have been friendly to you. I would appreciate it if we can talk on even grounds and for you cease ALL attacks. How about we make peace and end this harmlessly? From: Sam Date: 12/16/2014 Tuesday 6:25 am I'll pay 100k reps. I'm over attacking just havnt had a good fight in a long time. From: Ace Date: 12/16/2014 Tuesday 8:29 am (edited for our PG-13 friendly community) Well that's ****in rich coming from you, jerk. Now you are asking for peace AFTER I've wasted a 1.8 MILLION FULL-MECHANIZING ready to play your "sorry it's part of the game" routine and kick your !@#$. What are you gonna say to that? You're gonna pay me 100k rep? That not even 50% of what I've spent. Hell. That's not even a 10-****in-percent of what I've spent. How about a ****in no? NO WAIT!! I got a better idea! How about this, you let me "do 6 ground battles and win all easy." and we'll see if THAT'S enough to cover 1.8 MILLION. You disrespected me after how I tried to reason with you when we both could have walked away clean and easy (even with more loss at my part). Instead you ****in insulted me with your "win all easy" routine and make the game not-fun for everybody. Judging from your past wars raiding poor little forks like United of Terra's President (they are a 17-man alliance). Screwing up other people's fun. By the limitations of this game even tho they are sad they can't do anything about your merciless raids they are forced to give in. Well not me. I am a peaceful guy, but I am also not anyone's !@#$. Plus I have more of a reason to kick your !@#$, I will do it for their sakes. You've messed with the wrong motha ****a. I can see I will rather blow ALL my cash I saved up for 80% of my next city to ****in teach you a lesson even if we'll have a "good fight" till our nation get so ****ed up that both of us might just leave the game for good. I'mma even ****in keep attacking your s* when you're 1 ****in second out of Biege. I'mma get the ****in word out on you with all of Rose and the Forums for getting my accredited award for Ace's Olympic Gold Medal for the "!@#$ of the Month" ****in congratulations. CONCLUSION: I'm not gonna take a 100k rep. I will not take this insult. I might have taken it if you are an honorable man and didn't disrespect nobody. But insult a man's pride? A ****in 1.8 M. That's what. AND THE WINNER OF ACE'S OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL FOR "!@#$ of the Month" GOES TO... *DRUM ROLLS* President Sam of Norfican !!! "Here's your !@#$ Medal"
  20. I know. TAC vs TC thread entertained the hell-load of me. Glad this entertained everyone else lol. Besides I am giving free bumps to BoC's thread, I should get paid for doing these. (stingy ba5tard5) lol jk.
  21. The only I wanted to prove that I have something that this thread doesn't have or hasn't stated yet. Something (an observation, fact or argument) that nobody in this thread has used this argument before for this case. In that regard I did so successfully. As if it proves my deductive reasoning skills, again subjective. You didn't really specific a "criteria" for what does suffice for you. I believe I have proven enough since I just followed Brown University's example of using deductive reasoning. Short answer: Yes that is the new observation in this thread. As I said before. Reasoning is not making stuff up, it means taking what we already know and trying to see something what we didn't see before. I can say a Russian hacker is hacking this game and spy-attacking BoC members. While it's not impossible, it's not very convincing because there nothing we already know that support that. More likely someone in this game who is capable with the right motivation who wants to weaken BoC is a much-more likely possibility and we can use what we already know to reason to it. I don't reveal my whole intel in that 1 post, if I had to remind you. I vouch to disagree if you completely neglected all of BoC's enemies. Simply because I would just argue back... I could weaken my enemy AND profit from these hostilities. And I can argue. If say it is indeed a neutral party who did it. Why attack BoC from all the other 49 alliances in the game? Someone among them can predict that Ashland is gonna give a 1M reward? I refuse to believe someone in this game has that level of mind-reading. A more likely case is that party has an agenda against BoC. That would be BoC's enemies/competition. They will profit more from it.
  22. Information from OP's post & Arguments in this thread: 1) BoC members are being spy-attacked 2) They have tried to use their own spies to defend themselves 3) Spy-attackes are most harmful to newbies. Because its not fun and they leave the game. ELPINCHAZO also thinks these spy-attacks waste of resources. SAI40 said that it is a complete valid move to weaken BoC by targeting newer members. Luckynako also mentioned that BoC is the fastest growing alliance. Logically means BoC did the most recruitment. 4) SAI40 says these attacks might be a bug. 5) SAI40 and Ashland had a chat on the IRC. And I guess SAI40 said that BoC was attacked 8 times+ 6) SAI40 thinks BoC going to the forums posting a 1M reward is wrong. Because using spy-attack are also expensive and suggested that they should just use that money to rebuild. iljohn said a spy-attack can destroy 5 ships so rebuilding is also expensive. Now. My Reasonings. I) Considering Alliances 1) This is a game about power. Like all superpowers. They want to control/help lesser powers. (Like Russia wanting to grab Ukraine. China wanting to grab taiwan/tibet. So on...) 2) Looking from the alliance score rankings. 7 alliance would be considered those "superpowers". I would consider the 8-14 alliances to be "secondary powers". And 14+ to be alliances that are still trying to establish themselves. 3) Looking around many of the alliance affair statements in the forums. Such as TSG granting UPS protection. Alliances are forming alliances and wanting smaller alliances establish themselves. II) Considering Relationships (New Observation Here) 1) The easiest alliance relationship I can remember are TAC & his allies. TC (UPN and merged EoS) and BoC *hint hint*. Among others. 2) ... 2nd observation here I could reveal... My Deductive Reasoning (partially). 1) Only someone who has an agenda that benefits them with enough economically and political power would be the ringleader to do himself/ or ask someone else to do these series of spy-attacks. 2) Only someone who has enough economically and political power. So I can effectively eliminate almost all of the alliances that has a score wayy- below of BoC. (60%+ potential suspects) Someone would argue. But who knows they get the funding from their parent alliances!? My response is, true. But my question is do you want to find the henchmen or the ringleaders? 3) Only someone who has an agenda would do this. We know these spy-attacks are weakening BoC. And BoC is apart of the TC alliance (UPN, DIEC, BoC, etc). Who would benefit from weakening the TC alliance? from the observation II) Considering Relationships... We can easily answer this question. (from the 40% potential suspects, we can eliminate another half of the remaining %) 4) ... for now I only considered alliances. I can keep going on and on. Into more specific nations who did it... In conclusion: I believe I've passed the bring some new observation to the thread and prove your reasoning skill test. Personal note: Come on, it's not too hard to believe if someone's offering something it's not a total-bull s. I actually took time and effort to observe, think and type. At least something from that can be appreciated lol.
