Brainstorming with @Prefontaine about some changes that ought to be made to the game, he pitched this idea to me. I think it's a good idea, and one that could easily be implemented in a very short amount of time.

The idea is increasing the costs of cities over city 20 (starting with city 21), specifically by added resource costs (not affecting cash costs in any way.)

How Prefontaine explains it: "Cities over 20 cost raw resources to build 1k for each city above 20, 21 costs 1k Baux, Iron, Lead where as city 26 costs 6k of each. Cities over 30 cost 2k Oil, Coal, Uranium to build for each city above 30, if you want to make it fair to the people who haven't already built these city levels versus those who have you can require the next city to have a retroactive amount to build the next. This will likely cause a massive demand increase on raws for a short period of time (3 months or so) before normalizing if you do the retro."

Here's a table illustrating the costs to help understand the idea:

    image.png

The resource costs would be applied retroactively, so that if you already have more than 20 cities, your next city would cost the cumulative total of whatever resources you were not required to pay previously. For example, if you had 24 cities, when you went to build city 25 it would cost 15,000 Bauxite, Lead, and Iron (not 5,000) but after city 25 was built, you would go back to the regular costs (6K of each for city 26.)

Hopefully the idea is explained clearly enough. The implications of this suggestion would just be an increased demand for the raw resources in the market.

Please use the upvote/downvote reactions to help me gauge public opinion regarding this idea. Thanks!

You would just make it incredibly hard to build above 20 cities and give a sugar hit to the market. If you really wanted to increase market activity, devalue the PnW currency.

I really didn't want to get into PnW seriously when i made this nation, but it seems casualty had other plans for me XD. Now that Pantheon is stable and in a good place, it is time for me to bow out of the game(Again). It really has been a memorable journey, with great friends made along the way and proper villains. I would like to thank our membership who stuck through the rough patch, the drastically higher taxes and uncertainty we went through while we got things back in order. Few alliances would of survived what they threw at us, your dedication and trust really did keep me motivated while I was putting those long hours into PnW. I would like to thank our excellent gov who has stepped up and done a truly awesome job running pantheon. I really wish you guys were around when I last lead Pantheon XD. I’m proud of you all :). I would like to thank Partisan, Hilmes, Leopold, and The Syndicate for being such stalwart friends in a game where such things are rare. In so many ways you guys are in league of your own and it’s been a privilege to work with you.

And now with that out of the way, I am proud to announce the new gov lineup of Pantheon!

    Goodbye PnW o7

Sad to see you go mate, you were a good bloke and always open for a chat. Although, I was deeply saddened by your personal attacks on Batavia in the last days of your leadership which were totally uncalled for. Which was full of lies and rotten language to someone that served you loyally since July last year.

Getting a brand new leader of a struggling small alliance to trust you and then blowing the alliance up and robing them is fricking pathetic. Jesus christ you are a piece of shit

Emperor, I can vouch @DustyDart had good intentions when couping Sirius as it was being led in the wrong direction especially when it removed its protectorate with you guys. Dusty gave the bank back in distributing it to members who have made a difference during their time at Sirius. Unlike @Epi who couped Sirius to disband it and make a false allegation of multis with its heir to loot the bank for his own benefit.

Dude...the only thing worse than a member beiging by mistake...is actively doing it to help the enemy.

Ik your Sirius FA...so there is no excuse for this. Just leave the war, panths coalition, whatever. Or at least talk to them, you can't do that.

Epi riding the high moral horse whilst looting millions of dollars from his alliance bank lol

    Also, \o/ I stared in a video.

You should realise Shlappa is the dodgy c**t around, and trusting him is like trusting Bill Cosby to make you a drink, whilst Jack the Ripper gives you a haircut.

Now that was enjoyable to read.

  7. Gday Everyone,

As the Heir of the UNC, I would like to add what exactly happened. An individual posted a message on the Typhon chat that he wants the UNC attacked. I asked my member to find out who he is and talk to him diplomatically about his aims. Without my permission, he created a second account and infiltrated Typhon, they came to us and we investigated, he has subsequently been sacked from the Government and the alliance. I thank Zephyr for bringing this to our attention without declaring war.
