  1. Military generals has always sounded interesting, though making it something that isn't just a CN rehash of the generals mechanic would be the challenge. Baseball is basically just a bit of chrome for the game at this point. I'm not sure what you could do there that would be a) interesting, b) not just a money grab ripe for people to try to automate so they can grab even more money. Perhaps have tournaments where the reward is a achievement of some sort? Tempting to say "why don't you just create a financial incentive to up the number of nations on a color?" but then knowing players, suddenly everyone would be on the same color and abandoned the rest. I mean, there are solid reasons for wanting to have a color with few, high end nations on it. So the challenge is to encourage people to spread out a bit, without creating "gated communities". For the love of God, no more buffs to reward/encourage raiding. We have enough. What I *could* see is an achievement for fighting in 'X' number of Attrition and Ordinary wars that would result in something like a free Military Academy project that would help you create better/more military generals (and presumably military admirals).
  2. Good line up. At least the text isn't flashing therefore making it a risk for people with epilepsy to view. So there is that.

  4. WTF wasn't involved in https://ctowned.net/conflicts/camvscoal You asked me a single thing you said that was wrong. I've done that. I think maybe you are confusing two different conflict. Also, WTF always takes a lot of infra damage up front in wars (our tendency to rebuild and rarely raid means that we go into fights fat and lean down as the war progresses), and it skews the damage cost data. The data from the war I fought in clearly shows that Arrgh did massive damage to you, far more than WTF did, thus why I have renewed respect for them as assault troops. Not sure if your data here is from the war we fought in, or mix of data at this point (FYI: my nation's military was maxed out at the end of the war we had with you). Seems pretty important to you that you think that Camelot is some sort of invincible fighting force though. Good luck with that.
  5. Go home, kid. This game is too big for you. https://ctowned.net/conflicts/camvsmicros
  6. Amusing. I think what's most interesting though is that every single assertion save one (Borg was involved, so was Arrgh, and I developed a new appreciation for them as assault troops) you just made is wrong. Quite the accomplishment. You're boss would be proud.
  7. Ok, I'll play... That Disappeared - Guardians of the Galaxy That currently is - Singularity (IMO seems to scare the hell out of enough people to be doing something right) That should have been - Federalist Upper Canadian Kabbalah, the ultimate lulz alliance. Think the original Black Knights, but cooler, way cooler.
  8. We learned far more from KT actually. No, in your case it was a glorious little adventure, smashing your upper tier down into your middle tier and then playing Whack-a-Mole whenever your one of your poor upper tier nations dared to buy up back into range. Eventually your upper tier nations figured out that it was mostly pointless I guess, so we had to sell off mil to get back into range to pick some people off. Oh sure your lower tier did well against us, but it's not like you didn't vastly outnumber WTF in that range. WTF didn't lose to Camelot. If anything we got bored waiting for Polaris to decide to peace you out because the point was made (FYI: your boss is terrible negotiator and his act became tiresome). When they refused, we gave them a deadline to make peace. As I recall we even extended it a bit. When that didn't work, we and the other alliances (all except TCM) peaced you out anyway and let Polaris fight on without us. Also for the 6,745th time... NPO = New Pacific Order aka Pacifica NpO - New Polar Order aka Polaris Learn it. Live it. Love it.
  9. As someone who used to routinely faceoff against nations with far more cities, I could see where they start to blend a bit. You're right, largest city count he faced was c41. On the other hand, don't expect him to be happy facing off against mercenaries/raiding alliance members with 38, 36, 41, and 30 cities respectively. Indeed, only two of the ten nations he fought the entire war had fewer cities than he did.
  10. Even the summary post (and bless the heart of the individual who did it...) needs a tl;dr. But the real tl;dr is: Never merge your alliance with another ruled by an absolute dictator, always merge with friends, and always get references first.
  11. I have to admit, I like a good change of pace.
  12. So basically the vast majority of the significant damage to TCM in The Aqua War was done by people not on Aqua, nor members of an Aqua alliance. Marvelous.
  13. Congrats to TCM, good luck to all parties moving forward.
  14. "Hostile Engagement" so you're getting married but you're both really sh*tty to each other about it? There's this new word, 'war' that would be a better choice.
  15. Seriously. There are specialized rooms for taking a dump, and they have running water to wash your hands after. Many even have showers. He should use one of those instead. πŸ™„
  16. One typo: "Church of Atoms signed MDoAP with World Task Force." Should be: "Church of Atom signed MDoAP with World Task Force." Otherwise, nicely done. Excellent production values. Hit me up for more WTF news.
  17. Times change. Didn't we fight along side Arrgh against Camelot? I recall that being the case.
  18. We're not saying it's a MADP, but you can guess the odds that one of us will be coming along with the other if there is offensive action to be done.
  19. Prelude RandomNoobster β€” "This is for all of WTF. I would like to thank you all for coordinating and being so very cooperative. The friendliness and responsiveness to my DMs is something I am personally very grateful for. The disregard for pixels and fundamental understanding of how to win alliance wars is something that cannot be taken for granted, but you have shown that you know all about it and that you're a highly capable fighting force. CoA is looking forward to fighting by your side in the future!" Viva la Pasta! β€” "Upgrade to MDoAP?" RandomNoobster β€” "MDMAP?" George Clooney β€” "MADP...and I haven't seen one of those in a very long time. I don't even think the treaty mechanics allows for them in game. But an upgrade is in order to a MDoAP." John Baraboo β€” "Indeed!" One lengthy version and one very short version of a treaty later... RandomNoobster β€” "I must admit that I am fond of the brevity." Nintendo β€” "I'm on board with either version. I do like the short and sweet one too." πŸ˜† George Clooney β€” "Ok, brevity it is." The Brevity Accords β€œBrevity is the soul of wit.” ― William Shakespeare, Hamlet 1) You mess with Church of Atom, expect World Task Force at your door and vice-versa. 2) If CoA messes with you, WTF might join in, and vice-versa. 3) We're buddies. Buddies look out for each other. 4) If we start to squabble too much and decide to part ways, we will provide each other 72 hour notice, and do so in private. For Church of Atom: Pontifex Atomicus: RandomNoobster Cardinals: JohnBaraboo, Soxirella, Kongo Jack Pontifex Emeritus: James II For World Task Force: Consul WTFers: Nintendo, Globoid, lucky258, Fenthal Master Hand WTFers: George Clooney, Johnemann, DvD, Tapley, Mr Pasta, Max Power
  20. About this time of year, you get to see dozens of examples of poor choices on display on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and Monday nights. Sports commentators and fans then proceed to overanalyze them. Not my poor choices in that case.
  21. It's been my observation that some people are merely victims of the poor choices, not stupidity.
  22. I though we were turning all the frogs gay. πŸ€”
  23. Interesting. I would look forward to play testing this if it gets that far. One thing that must never be part of it: allowing spies to assassinate generals. Not that it doesn't happen in real life, but it would become exceedingly frustrating to put all the time and effort into developing a general, only to have some person kill him/her simply they are bored and looking to screw with people because they can. It was a major problem in CN back in the day.
  24. Explain how this differs from Generals in Cyber Nations, beyond the possibility that they can be killed in battle.
