No, patriotism is pride in his country. Nationalism is pride in his folk/race. Paired with chauvinism and socialism it gets National Socialism. You could say Patriotic-socialism is good, and NS is bad... at least for people outside the folk/race.

We don't need nationalism, we need a good portion of patriotism and rationalism to fight our current Zeitgeist problem : political correctness and Gutmenschentum ( dont know english translation ...
