  1. I could say the same to you, considering I just explained my position clearly. I made a calculator that calculates the profits based on what improvements and projects you have, based on your infra/land, disease, pollution, crime. We actually agree with the general concept that profits per slot > sustainability. The difference is the best profit isn't getting the most profitable slots in a row, it's getting the best *combination* of possible slots. Also, refined slots are not more profitable than raw slots, you need recycling centers to offset them. I compared the build you are currently running since I assume that is what you consider to be optimal and compared it to mine and the difference is huge. Your build is hampered by the fact you have a hospital and 2 recycling centers, although the former is probably better for you since your city age is around 4 times as high as mine. It doesn't help your on a continent with sub-par raws to be fair.
  2. This isn't correct once you factor in pollution and the cost to remove it, and the different slots refined resources require to operate. You don't buy the most profitable slot then the next profitable slot then the next, because some slots require other slots to operate. Unless you are importing, which has its own costs, Refined resources require raws to operate, For example, awhile back and for some time now, Aluminium has had the highest profit per slot with a project, produced natively, *but* producing Gasoline + Bauxite was a better investment (if you were in africa), because it's total amount was worth more. If you buy based on highest to lowest on a profit per slot basis, you waste slots buying things like Recycling centers trying to offset the pollution costs. Even if you import and "buy the inputs", you'll still need to offset with wasted slots which brings down the value of your whole setup. I did concede that the food project is only worthwhile if you have 2500+ land so we sort of resolved that one. As for "Most raw resource profit-per-slot numbers are exceeded by manufacturing profit-per-slot with the associated project.", that isn't correct once pollution is factored in as the effects of pollution require you to offset it with recycling centers and they bring down the value of the improvements. That being said, the market is still a bit messed up atm, so it'll take awhile to normalize back to this.
  3. I just wanted to point out that Aluminium and Gas projects are the most profitable once you account for slot combinations and things like upkeep. Prices are a bit all over the place at the moment but it'll likely stabilize back to that. Profit per slot is all well and good, but unless you have unlimited slots to work with, you need to consider profit as a whole and what is the best combination of slots you can have. One resource might have a higher profit per slot but potentially lock you out of another resource (especially with refined resources), and your overall income will drop as a result. Also, Uranium and Food projects beat out refined projects hands down. Especially with recent updates to food. It isn't worth it unless you have 2500 land to be fair, like you said, but you can build to that fairly cheaply with a solid build and better income. Also raw resources over > refined resources. Also if you are in any other continent besides Africa, git gud.
  4. Project name: Federal Reserve Bank Small description: A secure federally run bank to safeguard against financial crisis. Project effect: Increases the minimum amount of cash safe from looting from $100,000 to $1,000,000, and increases income by 1%. Resource cost: 2500 Steel, 2500 Aluminium. Cash cost: 20 million.
  5. Considering the great wall would completely invalidate the use of hospitals and police stations, I beg to differ. And extra 2 - 4 slots is an EXTREMELY large bonus ignoring the income bonus. That being said there does need to be more Econ based projects.
  6. It is? "Now that you've formed your own nation, there's much to learn about Politics & War. These objectives are designed to help you learn and succeed in the game, and each objective offers a cash reward upon completion!"
  7. I was under the impression Objectives were designed as a tutorial for new players not as an ongoing challenge system. Game doesn't need meta objectives outside of the tutorial.
  8. The easiest solution would just be to remove it and just keep reading reports and banning people. Better to not bother deterring people from making multis, and just focus on better ways of detecting and banning them.
  9. The change is stupid and should be removed. It does little to actually solve the root problem and punishes new players more than multis.
  10. Considering people are just consolidating power and signing more not less treaties, I highly doubt that will happen. Game needs a paper reset at this point. Go back to the days when every top 30 AA wasn't signed to someone who was signed to someone who was signed to someone etc.
  11. I feel like this should be expanded to include things like average infrastructure and average land, etc. Like a city manager view but for alliance members. Maybe even in a separate section like an "alliance manager" screen.
  12. I feel someone should be held accountable for not renaming this thread yet.
  13. Except not all people who are alt-right hold the same views, and alt-right covers a lot more than just views on immigration. That is like when people say, well all Trump supporters are white nationalists. Or even "all alt-right people are racists, homophobic, misognyist bigots".
  14. Sorry, my recent run ins with the law have made me suspicious and maybe a tad paranoid. I apologize for assuming that because you shared the same inability to read as the guy who reported me last time, you must also be as professionally offended. That being said. You still can't read for shit.
  15. It was clear you are just stupid. (inb4 another professionally offended baby reports me because he can't read)
  16. How do you know they are crying? Are you sitting next to them? I suspect you may not be telling the truth!
  17. No our opponents are all exploiters just like yours. I suspect next war they will attack us only with soldiers Stay vigilant, you never know when an evil exploiter will jump out of the bushes and attack you.
  18. We try, but the bastards keep bringing planes, soldiers AND tanks to the fight. Who does that anyway?
  19. It is an exploit. An exploitation of their stupidity. t$ should be ashamed for utilizing exploits, that is just poor form. They should issue a formal written apology and also promise never to handicap themselves exploit during war ever again.
  20. 11 pages later and noone has renamed the thread yet.
  21. Pls rename this thread from "Roses Surrender" to "Public NPO-BK Peace talks"
  22. I wasn't just referring to those threads, others have posted threads that aren't even announcements, just random drivel that shouldn't be clogging up the alliance affairs section. But since you brought Carb up. His first thread could be considered valid since it was a "DoW". His second thread which he posted earlier is not an announcement. You have extremely low standards if that is the type of stuff we allow into the alliance affairs section.
