  7. I feel as though if someone is plainly copying/pasting an entire contents of a thread and just changing names/locations then you can say that. IF I was to post Four's Q & A.....and you wanted to post a Q & A solaris.....what would you title it? Just curious.
  8. Yeah. I think before you start moving towards removal of territories you have to start at what the required activity level should be for participants in this world of RP. That being said, Eva-B, said that people should post 1-2 times/month to stay active. Also stated that nations land claims here don't get removed unless nations get deleted. There needs to be a common ground. Nations must post X amount of times/month to be considered Active. Nations that are not active.....? Nations that are deleted.....? Land for inactive/deleted players.....? Fill in the blanks.
  9. Stay within the realm of your own thread. Report the offender, don't play into it.
  10. Moved to Orbis Central.
  11. Spam - Moved to Spam bc Spam.
  12. Moved to this forum as it is not pertinent to World politics/discussions. o/ Pride
  13. No. Please see the rules. Thread has been locked - the action taken in the above OP never happened, so community, please disregard. If you want to work with other members of the RP community to create actions between your respective nations, then communicate with each other. Don't forget to check out the rules. As per the 3Strike Rule for NatRP the offender will receive a Warning and 1 Strike. Offender has been messaged as well.
  14. Just want to get some ideas here - not looking for a discussion on any TYPE of idea, but if you could - what would you change in National Affairs? Feel free to agree or disagree with another member. No ideas are dumb - Just want to see.
  15. I just want to point everyone to these rules. Let me highlight a few for a tl;dr The Nation Affairs subforum purpose is allow players to role play specific events related to their nations. So - you're allowed to make events for your nation, we can make "global" events for the RP'ers if we ever got to that. Don't have to, but I mean - you can literally make up events for your nation in your RP. So, have fun with it. In-Game refences can be made (Wars, Surrenders, Embargoes, etc) so long as it relates to the topic being discussed.Add in some stuff from the "real world of orbis" to spice up your RP, but if you do make sure it is real references and it is going along with the topic you created or the topic you are posting in. Adding in information based of the "RL Orbis" stuff could make for some fun discussion. This subforum is for roleplaying your in-game nations. You must use your in-game nation name, and while you may expound upon the information in-game, things should remain within the realm and scope of the Orbis world and your in-game nation.Pretty straight forward - if it can happen in your nation, why can't it happen in RP? You must roleplay within your means - by that, I mean you must make reasonable posts and requests. You are not allowed to take control of other nations without explicit consent from that nation leader, and posts like "I invade you and kill all your stuff" will be removed.Probably the most important one - these ones get a lot of warns to users here. Communicate with people you want to RP with to come up with a "story" to share in this forum. Not only will it be more fun, but it will add more flavor to the forums. As a general rule of thumb, you should consult the other person you're interacting with when involved in two-way interactions when there is no in-game precedent. For example, if you win a war against someone in-game, you're welcome to make a roleplay post about how you won the war, but if you do so with no in-game action and the other player has not given consent, your post will be removed. ^ real talk Ultimately............its Role Play. If you want zebras birthing live human babies in your nation, then so be it. Just make sure you're following the rules and don't make it any harder than it has to be.
  16. Moved to spam...cuz, not right forum.
  17. When creating a thread Opening posts should be a paragraph with at least 4-5 complete sentences. Quoting from outside references may only include small portions of the article. Do not post or quote an entire article. Thread titles should be a brief description of the thread topic. Moderation has the right to alter thread titles that do not follow this rule. Whether a thread has sufficiently set a basis for respectful debate on the thread topic will be at the discretion of the moderators
  18. So when you say in-game stuff, you're saying like......stuff that people RP about their in-game nations or calculations? Shed a little light on this.
  19. This is not what this forum is for. Read the forum description and the pinned topics.
  20. This is not what this forum is for. Don't do it again
  21. My thought on the events that might not be applicable to certain nations is this: Even in the real world there are nations that don't do what other nations do, but nations are always in the news or doing something. My suggestion would be, instead of just saying "we can't do that" be creative with the event as well - I mean this is Role Play. If your neighboring nation/ally/friend was participating in elections what would you say to them, what would you do? I feel as though RP is limitless if you have a creative mind and it all doesn't have to be all In-game/IC type of discussion. Be creative. Thoughts?
  22. The NatRP Team was slightly discussing the idea of adding RP events to the play. The events would be unbiased, meaning they wouldn't just be posted up by anyone at any given time. The NatRP Team or Myself would post them up at specific times during the month in order to harness more activity in the community and provide a bit more dialogue with the RP community in terms of RP. Example Events I can think of off the top of my head: Some type of senate event - voting on certain things with delegates from nations. War event - say we are having a war IC/IG - alliance HQ locations can cause issues for nations in those territories. Natural Disasters Festivals/Holidays Elections Just some stuff like that. We don't have to get all technical with "if there is a war and there are nukes and this means falllout means (insert some type of equation)...." It can all be text based and just designed for you to create a story from it and designed to affect your NatRP and open more dialogue between community members. Share what you like and don't like.
  23. Thread closed at the Request of the OP. Also - Gravedugggg
  24. Yay First post in OOC! Lets just remember to keep it all civil - there is no need to point fingers, just address the issue. Tyro - great job providing the examples and links. Also, as far at the NatRP team, I did post a few times asking if people would be interested in forming a team and I did create this post outlining the team where I got a few more members to join. None of this was done without the community in mind. As solaris said - we will talk to Alexei and create better standards of practice for the team. This is the stuff I like to see though, shows you guys are interested in changing the NatRP community and I hope we can do that together. I also want to note that in the future the NatRP Team - with exclusion of the moderators - will not be posting in threads identifying issues. They are primarily there to act as a mouth between Moderation and NatRP, so that we can understand the stories, territories, and all that stuff. It is hard to follow that close as a moderator and correctly moderate the forum. Thanks all.
