  2. The Imperial Banner of Chernigov The many symbols of the flag represent many things, some well known, others not so much. For instance, the Burgundy background represents the blood spilled throughout the nation's long and troubled past. The star represents the ever growing influence of the reigning Dark Lord/Emperor, while the symbol in the center represents a station known as the "Starforge", which is one of the largest structures to ever be built in the history of the multiverse. The ring around the core is also believed to represent the capital, Chernigov Prime, while the core represents the Emperor himself. 3. The Kote'aran Slowly, Governor Noll walked to the front of the bridge, his medals and white uniform showing his rank as Grand Admiral. As he approached the front of the bridge, he pulled out a personal holopad and turned it on so the commanders of the rest of the fleet could hear his orders. "Attention to all commanders of the 1st Expeditionary fleet. This is Governor Vruz Noll speaking. Your orders are as follows: Construction ships 1-3, you will begin construction of a spaceport over the planet, while the Shuk'orok will protect you. Colony ships 1-7, you will land on the planet and establish a base of operations. You will be escorted by the Dha'kot, the Parjai'tor, and of course, the Kote'aran. Our ship will fly into the upper atmosphere of the planet, where we will launch fighters and transports to the planet's surface. Once you are on the planet's surface, your orders will be simple: Find a suitable location for a colony, clear the land, and build the colony. With that said, you are clear to begin your mission." Governor Noll said over the hologram before walking over to the back of the bridge in order to find a location for the colony. "Sir, we believe that the location that would where our colony on Orbis is at could be suitable." one of the officers said as he pointed to a location on the map. "Yes... That should be a good location. Well, give the order to our colony ships to land in that area. Have the Kote'aran. Dha'kot, and Parjai'tor hold position above it." Governor Noll replied. "Yes governor." The officer said with a slight bow. Slowly, the ship began to fly towards the planet, where it would create the first colony out of many that would be built. Somewhere in Eastern Europe... The ship flew towards the planet, it's size blocking out the star's light for several kilometers around the area it hovered over. As the Kote'aran, Dha'kot, and Parjai'tor, as well as the colony ships approached the location, the hangar blast doors on the ships opened, allowing 300 transports to exit the vessels. Each transport carried 30 clones, who were to secure the landing zone for the colony ships. However, one more shuttle left the Kote'aran, one carrying Governor Noll and a squad of Commandos. Governor Noll, who wished to leave the vessel for a while, decided to leave the safety of the ship in order to oversee the colonization of the planet personally. After several hours of preparation, the colony ships began landing on the planet, and so, the colonization of PW-2 began.
  4. The Kote'aran, Sol System, PW-2 The bridge was filled with noise once more as officers ran the many basic functions of the ship. In the center of the bridge, Admiral Noll, as well as a group of officers, stood around a holotransmitter, upon which played the message that was originally supposed to arrive with the Parjai'tracyn before it was destroyed. The message, which was from Grand Moff Odile Vaiken, explained where they were exactly, how it came into existence, why they were there, and of course, what they were to do upon arrival. Upon finishing the message, Admiral Noll immediately attempted to contact Grand Moff Vaiken in order to confirm that they had arrived. "Grand Moff Vaiken, this is Admiral Noll, we have arrived in PW-2." Admiral Noll said after turning on a holotransmitter. "Very good, Admiral Noll... or should I say Grand Admiral Noll." Vaiken replied, causing Noll's face to go blank. "G-g-grand Admiral? Since when was I promoted? Better yet, why?" Noll asked. "Since today, of course. Henceforth, you are no longer Admiral Noll of the 2nd Imperial Armada. Instead, you are, with the backing of both the council of Grand Admirals and the council of Grand Moffs, Grand Admiral Noll, commander of the 1st Expeditionary fleet, and governor of the Imperial Colony of Evaar'la Vercopa." Vaiken declared. "Thank you, sir, but I must ask, what is this Expeditionary fleet you speak of? We lost our only ship besides the one I stand on right now." Noll replied. "That, my friend, has already been dealt with. Good luck to you, Governor Noll." Vaiken said before the hologram turned off. Noll stood in place for a few moments, thinking over what had occured, however, he was quickly interrupted. "Sir! Several heat signatures emerging from inter-universal space!" an officer yelled. Suddenly, dark clouds of dust appeared to both sides of the vessel, with lightning appearing inside them. Slowly, ten ships around the size of a Vengeance-class battlecruiser, as well as several smaller ships, presumably colony ships, left the clouds, which disappeared after they had safely exited. "Well, here is our fleet." Governor Noll said with a smile.

  6. Sol System, PW-2 Quickly, the shuttle known as the "Lucky '38" exited the Parjai'tracyn as shots from a nearby vessel tore into it's hull. As the alien ship fired upon the stricken battlecruiser, one of the shots hit the shuttle, causing one of the engines to burst into flame. "This is Shuttle 38, we are under attack! I repeat, we are under attack!" the pilot of the shuttle yelled over his commlink. "Shuttle 38, we read you loud and clear. We are sending a fighter escort immediately. Please stand by." an officer replied. "All hands to battle-stations! Repeat, all hands to battle-stations! Launch ten heavy fighters immediately!" the officer yelled over the ships commlink. Upon hearing this, several pilots boarded their shuttles and headed out to assist the shuttle which was carrying vital information. At the same time, the auto-defense turrets were armed as alarms sounded around the ship. Within a few minutes, the shuttle arrived on the Kote'aran, where a ground crew was waiting to repair the shuttle. Almost immediately, however, an officer walked up to the leader of the squad and requested the data to be handed over. Meanwhile, on the bridge, Admiral Noll assessed the situation. It was in this time that he decided to send a message to the vessel which had attacked the stricken battlecruiser. Quickly, he walked over to a holotransmitter to give the message. "Ibic cuyir admiral noll be te sol'yc imperial armada. Bic has olaror at ner Ke'sush' ibac gar ganar ru'ram'or a shuk'la battlecruiser. While bic cuyir true ibac vi ganar lost gaan'arir be te vessel, bic cuyir su cuun jurisdiction. It has come to my attention that you have attacked a damaged battlecruiser. While it is true that we have lost control of the vessel, it is still our property. At the same time, you have caused damage to one of our vessels, endangered the lives of our soldiers, caused the near destruction of vital data, and of course, disturbed the final rest of countless soldiers, officers, engineers, and pilots. So please, refrain from attacking us, and we will not have to resort to other methods.)." Admiral Noll said over the hologram before awaiting a response. However, something was off about the area. The entire ship shook, the star burned black, and a voice that hardly anyone had heard before spoke. "Admiral Noll... Commander Pauahi... Neither of you fully grasp the situation, do you. There will come a moment when you will both find yourselves under attack, not by one another, but by a force that neither of you can hope to face alone. Therefore, both of you should work together, at least, until both of our nations have fully settled on this world. Now, I must take care of one minor issue... The Parjai'tracyn." the voice in a tone which did not carry emotion in any form. Quickly, Admiral Noll kneeled and asked a question. "But... my lord, how might you deal with this vessel? We have tried everything!" the admiral said. Alexei laughed at what he just been said and only gave a vague reply. "You presume limits to my power... There are none." Alexei said without emotion. Suddenly, the Parjai'tracyn started to turn to ash. The crew of any vessel in the vicinity could hear what sounded like a continuous, rolling thunder, while the ships around it shook. After the ship disintegrated, Alexei's presence left the system, and the star went back to it's normal coloration.
  7. The Kote'aran, Justice-class dreadnought 13 hours since arrival Admiral Noll paced around the bridge, his face showing concern with the current situation. The tractor beam had worked, but something was off about it. Suddenly, a bright flash appeared off of the port side of the ship. Slowly, a ship exited the bright flash, it's design unmistakable. It was Parjai'tracyn, or at least, what remained of it. As it slowly passed beyond the rift, debris from the ship floated away. It was clear that something had happened to the ship while it jumped to wherever they were. Suddenly, the tractor-beam that had held the ship failed, and the ship began to float towards the planet below. Thankfully, while the tractor beam was still active, engineers aboard the vessel were able to repair Reactors 13-30, but unfortunately, the final three were unable to be fixed. An officer quickly walked up to the admiral to give advice. "Sir, with all due respect, we should send a salvage team to the Parjai'tracyn's wreckage and try to figure out what happened." the officer said. "Perhaps... But maybe it would be better to first initiate one of our tractor beams in order to keep it from hitting the planet." Admiral Noll replied. "Alright, send a shuttle to investigate what happened." he added. "I will have someone work on the tractor beam." he finished. "Yes sir, right away sir." the officer said before heading to the hangar, where a shuttle and a team of clones would be waiting. Upon reaching the hangar, he saw a small squad of soldiers waiting for him. Quickly, he walked towards them to give them their orders. "Men! We have arrived in a new universe, one which has yet to be charted by our nation. As you may know, our ship, the Kote'aran, was damaged while investigating this new universe. We were followed by the vessel known as the 'Parjai'tracyn'. That ship only just arrived, but it was destroyed either upon entry into this system, or while in transit. Hence, you are under orders to recon the ship, attempt to find any survivors, and bring back orders, technical readouts, etc etc... Dismissed!" the officer said before the squad boarded the shuttle that would take them to the stricken ship. The Parjai'tracyn, Vengeance-class Battlecruiser 14 hours since arrival Quickly, the shuttle approached the stricken battlecruiser, which had lost all power save for the bridge. Quickly, the doors of the shuttle opened, allowing the clones to exit the vehicle. After a short time outside of the spacecraft, the squad boarded the Parjai'tracyn, where they found a grim sight. The ship had been ripped apart, anyone aboard the ship did not survive. "This isn't good..." one of the clones said. "Yeah, this is pretty bad." another one said. Slowly, the clone walked over to one of the computers to figure out what happened. "Lets see here... Primary cause of ship destruction... reactor overload... Remaining crew... none." he said. "Okay, now that we know we are alone, lets try to see if our orders were left intact." the commander of the clones said. Slowly, the squad advanced through the ship towards the bridge, which was the last area that was fully powered. As they approached the bridge, the ship started to fall apart from the damage sustained. As the final clone entered the bridge, it separated from the rest of the ship, causing the remaining part of the ship to go into low power mode. "Well, that was close. I guess we need to be more careful." the clone said as he walked up to a computer in the center of the room. "Okay, lets see here... Orders... Where are the orders... Ah! There they are. Lets see here..." the clone said as he turned on a hologram that would show the message. "Admiral Noll, this is Grand Moff Vaiken. As you know, we have reported temporal instability in the PW-1 universe, more specifically, temporal instability centered around the Orbis system. Your orders are to investigate these temporal instabilities, recon the newly discovered universe, establish a colony on this alternate version of Orbis, and report back your findings. We hope that you and the crews of both the Kote'aran and the Parjai'tracyn will arrive safely, but if something is to happen, please attempt to contact us as soon as possible. Grand Moff Vaiken, out." the hologram said. Immediately afterwards, the clone transferred the message to a small holopad in order to return it to the Kote'aran. "Shuttle 36, this is Gamma squad, requesting transport back to the Kote'aran, over." the commander said over a hologram to the shuttle's pilot. "Roger that Gamma, we are inbound for your position." the pilot replied. "Please make it quick, the ship wont last much longer." the commander replied. "I don't think we will be able to prevent it from hitting the planet for much longer..." he added. "Roger that Gamma, we are almost there." the pilot replied as the shuttle approached the wreckage. After a few minutes waiting, the crew boarded the shuttle that took them back to the Kote'aran. Immediately afterwards, the tractor beam was disabled as it was draining energy for the reactors, and the Parjai'tracyn, or, at least, what remained of it, floated towards the planet.
  8. OFFICIAL DOCUMENT AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL EYE'S ONLY MINISTRY OF BORDER SECURITY CHERNIGOVAN ORBIS Chernigov, under the orders of his Glorious Majesty, Immortal Master and Protector of Chernigov, Emperor Alexei Lysenko, has expanded the nation's boundaries on Orbis to encompass the following territories: the region directly north of the colonial capital on the planet and part of the island of "New Guinea". The reason for taking part of the island was to maintain peace in the region following the collapse of Caledonia, while taking the rest of southern Belarus was to secure the region and prevent an attack on the city known as "Chernihiv". It is within reason that the next major movement will be to secure our territory in the Caucasus, with the likelyhood of taking the city of Trebizond some time in the future. At the same time, we will make it clear that we will be marching into the Caucasus soon in order to ensure peace, justice, and freedom in the region. We hope that no nation will force our hand, and at the same time, we hope to avoid any wars with the natives for the time being.

  11. The Kote'aran, Justice-class dreadnought The bridge was filled with noise as the crew attempted to change the course of the ship. As the ship closed in towards the planet, a message was received in a foreign language. Even Admiral Noll, who had served in the Chernigovan-Sith War, was concerned. "Can any of you attempt to translate it?" Admiral Noll asked with concern. "Sir, I can handle it." one of the clones replied before putting the message into one of the many computers on the ship. "Okay, It should be done, sir." the officer said. Suddenly, a hologram appeared, but the image was blurred so they couldn't really see the creature that said it. "Your vessel appears to be in distress and threatens our holdings with it's projected course. Respond and explain or be removed." the creature said with a slight accent, one which none of the crew recognized. "Tell them that our projected landing site is somewhere in what looks to be... Eastern Europe." Admiral Noll ordered to one of the officers. "Sir yes sir!" one of the clones responded before putting the message in. It said the following: "This is Admiral Noll of the Kote'aran, we are projected to land somewhere in Eastern Europe as of this moment. Ple-" he stopped. "Sir! We have made contact with another ship!" He yelled. "It seems we are far from alone here..." Admiral Noll said to himself. "Alright, I will contact them." he said before stepping onto a holopad in the center of the room. "This is Admiral Noll of the Second Imperial Armada, under orders from His Glorious Majesty, Immortal Master and Protector of Chernigov, Alexei Lysenko. Our ship, the Kote'aran, has sustained damage to Primary reactors 13-33 during a routine jump from the CH-1 Universe to PW-1, leaving us in this state. Our Primary engines have been disabled, while Decks 37 and 38 have lost life support. Thankfully, should any ship attack us, our large compliment of ships are still active, while our weapons systems, including our- Well, I can't really say. It is a bit of a secret." Admiral Noll said over the holopad before awaiting a response.
  12. The Kote'aran, Justice-class Dreadnought Time: Unknown Date: Unknown Location: Unknown Crew: Admiral Noll, three lieutenants, 500 junior officers, 1000 ncos, 50,000 clones, 10,000 pilots, 40 commandos, 4560 turret operators. Armament: 1 -Redacted-, 500 heavy dual-turbolaser batteries,1000 medium dual-turbolaser batteries, 3000 point-defense batteries, 10 tractor-beam projectors, 50 proton torpedo tubes, Compliment: 1000 Theta-class Light Attack craft, 3000 Gamma-class Heavy fighters, 5000 Beta-class bombers, 800 Alpha-class Interceptors, 200 Delta-class Troop transports. Equipment: Long-range Tracking antenna, Type-15 Navigation system, Mk 30 energy shields, Rest is classified. Cause of Accident: Reactors 13-33 disabled Damage Report: Decks 37-38 lost life support, Primary engines disabled Projected course: Impact with planet Warning: Impact predicted, attempt to slow speed as soon as possible The Kote'aran, a Justice-class dreadnought, passed over the moon of the small blue planet, which many assumed was Orbis III, however, they could not be further from the truth. This planet was, in many ways, an alternate Orbis, one where many nations that collapsed rose afterwards. Admiral Vruz Noll, the commander of the vessel, attempted to contact Chernigovan Orbital Command in an attempt to save the crew. "This is Admiral Vruz Noll of the 2nd Imperial Armada speaking. We have lost all power to primary engines following a power surge that disabled Primary Reactors 13-33. We are on an impact course with the planet and request immediate assistance from anyone who can hear this. Our projected time until impact is twelve hours. This message will repeat until we are either rescued or help arrives. Admiral Noll out." the admiral said over a holo-transmitter. Slowly, he walked towards the front of the bridge and let out a sigh. "I don't think we are in the Orbis system. The sector is usually more active. Here's hoping that we can reestablish communications with the military." the admiral said to himself before retiring to his quarters. And so, the ship drifted ever closer towards the planet below. If it were to hit the planet with a high speed, it could wipe out all life in a 10,000 km radius, simply due to it's reactors that were still online.
  13. Prologue Spire District, Chernigov Prime The Imperial Palace, the center of the Eternal Empire of Chernigov, a symbol of power throughout the multiverse, was shrouded in darkness, as usual. Alexei, the reigning Dark Lord, had come to the throne close to 21 years prior, when he had been known for his kindness towards his people. However, people no longer knew him for that. Instead, they knew him for hardly ever being seen by the average person. However, the loyalty of the people was noteworthy, something many of his predecessors did not have. This had made people believe that nothing could challenge him, however, he was about to face his greatest trial. Throne Room, the Imperial Palace, Spire District, Chernigov Prime Alexei, Dark Lord of Chernigov, arguably one of the strongest wielders of the force in the history of Chernigov, was in complete silence as he meditated over what had happened to the assassin of his daughter, the man who had for so long evaded his grasp. It had been something he never knew he was capable of, in fact, it seemed as if it were completely impossible. Perhaps, it had been something he had been capable all along, or perhaps it was something he discovered through his rage. That did not matter, as he felt a familiar presence, heard a familiar voice. "I know it is you, Vitiate. Your presence is unmistakable." Alexei said. "The time has come. I gave you a chance to kneel many years ago, and you refused. This time, I won't give you that choice." Vitiate replied as he stretched out his hand. Suddenly, Alexei lost fell unconscious as the entity tried to take control. Desolation The area was silent, the ground was ash, the sky was as black as the void. Alexei, who was on the verge of death, knew that he was in his own sub-conscience. It was in this time that he saw visions of the past, present, and future, as well as all possible futures. These visions were almost real, but he could tell they were not. As he walked down a narrow path, he saw a forest with a fire to the side, where two people were sitting, talking to each other. "You know, the multiverse seems to change every week. Not in a literal sense, of course, but a figurative one. One second, the Imperial Parliament can be discussing tax laws and start to lobby for military action against a terrorist group on some planet far away..." one of the people said. "However, one thing that never changes is you." the person added as Alexei watched, the vision seeming familiar. Suddenly, he realized what the vision was. "Ambia... A world I used to visit so many years ago... A shame that it had been rendered uninhabitable by a civil war on the planet." Alexei said to himself as he continued to watch. Something strange happened afterwards, however, as the vision changed to that of Dromund-Kaas, former capital of the Sith Empire, it's cities now crumbling as a few people walked around, as if they were investigating what had happened to the planet. The destruction of the world was a mystery to most of the multiverse, save for a few. "What happened here... What could have caused destruction on this level..." one of the researchers said in disbelief as a large pyramidal structure rose before them... The Dark Temple. The vision ended afterwards, as the future became uncertain. Loss Darkness, something Alexei had lived with since his childhood, a lingering shadow over his presence. For many years, he denied it's existence, but times had changed, and so did he. This time, however, the darkness was different. It was the cold of death that told him it was different. Slowly, he felt his life fading as Vitiate began to finish taking over his body. However, suddenly, a light poured into the area as a cave appeared before him. Slowly, he walked into it, where he saw the throne room of the Imperial palace, or at least, the throne, sitting on a large outcropping of rock. However, there was no path directly to the throne, which Alexei assumed is where he would face Vitiate. After pausing for a few seconds, he began to walk down the path. For several minutes, he walked until he reached an area that seemed familiar, yet different at the same time. It was a dusty world, fires were burning all around him. Before him, he saw a group of guards wearing golden armor and wielding lightsaber pikes. In between them, he saw a man on the ground, one of his legs missing. The man was gasping for air as a medic rushed to his side. Suddenly, in the distance, he saw a man with a lightsaber fending off a group of attacking soldiers. The man turned to see the other person wounded and rushed to see what had happened. "Brother, it will be okay. You will be okay soon enough. Don't worry." the man said as he held his hand. Alexei quickly realized that the man who he saw was himself when he was younger. "The procedure will begin in three... two... one..." the medic said as Alexei gripped his brother's arm. The man screamed in pain as the cybernetic limb was attached to him. "Get him aboard a ship for Chernigov Prime! Move!" Alexei yelled to two of the guards. Quickly, they got the man aboard the ship as Alexei watched the ship fly away. Slowly, the vision ended and Alexei continued to walk down the path. "The battle of Vitellius... Where I learned the first truth in life... Peace is a lie." Alexei said to himself as he continued down the path. For several hours, he walked down the path towards the throne, each vision he saw giving him strength to continue on. Eventually, he reached the throne, which was situated up a flight of stairs. Demise Slowly, Alexei walked up the stairs towards the throne, it's golden finish darkened by the presence of the two dark lords. The stairs buckled as he walked, it's stones cracking simply due to his presence. Along his way up the stairs, he saw those he knew, Alexia, his apprentice, Therana, a trusted ally, Wolfie, the twice reigning queen of France, Cenna, a close friend... the closest he had ever had to one, and of course, his family. Mykhail, Prince of Chernigov, ruler of the Tsiolkovsky sector, Sofiya, his daughter, a threat that had to be contained, Hanna, his wife, and of course, at the edge of the platform, he saw Revan, his ancestor, the one person who he felt he had betrayed the most. By accepting Vitiate's help for many years, he had permitted himself to be manipulated to this point, and now, he had to turn this around or pay the price. He went to speak with Revan, but he was stopped in his tracks by a presence, one that was unmistakable. "So, the one who brought me to this point only did so for his own gain. How surprising." Alexei said, his voice devoid of all signs of life. "The same could be said to you. My life has been intertwined with your family since Revan. Finally, I will end this cycle and destroy all life." Vitiate replied, his face showing a slight grimace. "When I faced you on Dromund-Kaas, I could not comprehend the extent of your power. However, times have changed." Alexei replied, his voice once again emotionless. It was almost as if they spoke with the same voice. "You presume limits to my power... There are none." Vitiate replied, his eyes not glowing red nor orange, but completely black, as if you were staring into the void. "That is where you are wrong, Vitiate. I have seen your limits, and they will be your undoing." Alexei replied, his face showing that he was calm, even as he was dying. "I have one more thing to surprise you with." he added as he pulled out a holocron, one which Vitiate had known well. Suddenly, a dark presence exited it, one that Vitiate immediately recognized. "Father..." Vitiate said, his voice showing his disgust. "Your mother should have obeyed my orders to drown you before it was too late." Dramath replied, his voice showing his rage. "I ended mother's suffering long ago. Yours, however, will last for an eternity." Vitiate replied in disgust. "Take your vengeance, Dramath. You, of all people, should be given that right." Alexei said to Dramath, his voice once more carrying a lack of emotion. "Through Tenebrae's death, I will earn my freedom." Dramath said as he slowly walked towards Vitiate. "I killed you once, father. Now I will enjoy it once more." Vitiate replied as he too slowly walked forwards. For a few minutes, the two clashed as the area was filled in light. After a short period of time, the two were separated, both equally fatigued. "Tenebrae! Join me in death!" Dramath said as he slowly walked towards Vitiate, his arm outstretched. However, suddenly, something caught him off guard. Vitiate was on his feet, and unleashing torrents of lightning into him. "You were a fool, father. And that, is why you failed." Vitiate said to himself. Quickly, he turned towards Alexei, who was still standing in place, as if something was on his mind. Suddenly, an apparition appeared before him, one who Vitiate knew all too well. "Dark Lord! Your torment of our family will end today!" a voice said. Slowly, out of the darkness walked a man wearing a mask, one with a scar running over part of it. "Darth Revan... How amusing. You sought me out, if I am correct." Vitiate said. "Let me guess, you think you can destroy me?" he asked him. "No... I will not destroy you. It is not my place. Instead, you will be destroyed by one who can truly destroy you once and for all." Revan said. "Then you will die." Vitiate said, a grimace appearing on his face once more. Quickly, he stretched his arm out towards Revan and began to choke him. "I... die for my family's sake..." Revan said as he was choked. After a few minutes, his body fell to the ground, lifeless. "You will pay for this, Tenebrae. If I am to die, then you will die with me, and the cycle will be ended." Alexei said as his eyes turned black. Slowly, he walked towards Vitiate, the ground cracking after each step. As he drew closer, the area darkened, lightning struck around them, and columns cracked. "This is the end, Tenebrae." he said as he stared into Vitiate's soul. However, something stopped him, something he didn't understand. He saw apparitions of the fallen, some from his family, some of whom he knew. "Why are they here when I am about to destroy the Sith Emperor?" Alexei asked himself, however, he quickly went back to what he was doing. As he approached Vitiate, he stretched his arm out and said "Once, you tried to make me kneel, now it is my turn. Kneel before the true Dark Lord!". As he said that, the Emperor fell to his knees. "Your time has come, Vitiate!" one of the spirits said. "The cold of death will take you now." another one said. "Now you will feel the wrath of our family. Your death will only feel like it will last an eternity." Alexei said, his voice carrying no emotion. Vitiate, who was taking this in, slowly walked towards Alexei. "I can not die." Vitiate said, his eyes burning red. "Wrong again, Vitiate. Your time has come. Death will catch up with everyone, especially you." Alexei said as he ignited his lightsaber. Quickly, he stabbed it through Vitiate's chest, where it left a large burn mark. Suddenly, an energy left Vitiate's body as he walked towards Alexei. "Thus ends the reign of the Dark Lord of the Sith." he said as he struck Vitiate once more, killing him once and for all. He had succeeded in destroying a great darkness, but in the process, he became that darkness. Victory Alexei quickly regained control of his body, and upon waking up, fell from his throne in pain. However, he quickly regained his footing, and noticed that it was dark outside. He had been in that state for a full rotation. Slowly, he walked towards the door to the throne room, where a group of Imperial guards were standing. Upon seeing Alexei, one of them jumped back in surprise. "My lord! We thought something was wrong!" the guard said, his voice slightly muffled by his helmet. "Nothing is wrong, well, not anymore at least. In fact, why don't I tell you about it?" Alexei asked. The guard looked at his comrades, who were shaking in fear, and then back at Alexei. "Uh... Sure, my lord." the guard replied in confusion. "Is it me or is there something different about him?" the guard whispered to one of the guards. "Nah, not really. I can feel it." the other guard replied. "Follow me, I will tell you everything." Alexei said as he held out his hand. After telling the guard about everything he experienced, Alexei looked out over Chernigov Prime as the star rose not only over the planet, but over the entire nation. And so, one chapter in the story of Chernigov comes to a close, and a new one begins.
