  1. Seconded. Let's speed up the process for him.
  2. pot something something kettle Sorry, we members of the meme-machine cesspool of Admin pandering, inactivity, and incompetency have embraced the good ideals of equality laid out by our very own Black Knights Worker's Party. In our gommunist utopia, nobody will work a day and we'll all live like Kings! I don't always agree with Leo, but please don't attribute intent to his posts. I'm sure it's easy to make a case if you could just wave your hand and make his argument disappear, but that would be being dishonest, no? The suggestion may be a horrible one and the altruism argument may be a bit over-beaten, but with Sheepy expressing interest I see no compelling reasons against the theme of the proposal—maybe tweaking the numbers a bit since Sheepy is terribad and overshoots everything. Looking for an argument favoring the change outside of retention isn't too hard, either: Less money spent on cities means more money potentially spent on war—and we all love war. Maybe the community is terrible. I sure think so. However, while Sheepy can't force the community to be engaging for new players, he can certainly band-aid the mechanics of his dysfunctional game. Rather than using "muh IQ incompetence" as a blanket argument against change, why should this change not be implemented? Is it not fair, does it not have the intended effect, etc? The community was generally for reducing the impact of global radiation and for reverting Sheepy's deflation update because they disadvantaged newer players. Maybe there's a better method of doing so, but the fact that Leo made the post isn't an argument. no u
  3. Yeah, I can't read too. Loot is resources gained from looting, lost is resources lost from looting. That's a lot of munitions. You also don't need to quote the whole post
  4. Mhmm. Looking at the totals given by the last update of Frawley's sheet and this one shows a few discrepancies. Seems like the new method should work better. Also, don't use the stat-tracker for resources. It's broken for that as well.
  5. Resource prices are always up for debate, but at least unit costs and loot are consistent now. As for infra damage, the sheet jumps through way too many hoops, while being prone to similar errors as the Stat-Tracker. As far as I can tell, the nation score is only logged twice per day (once at update, and once at noon), as opposed to Frawley's sheet, which logged infra levels for individual nations at every turn flip. As a result, damage done gradually—as through IQ's 'attrition' tactics—would be fairly accurate, whereas the damage sustained by nations quickly brought down would be heavily inflated, due the destruction of the higher infra levels potentially counted multiple times. While the stats collected are certainly not as blatantly inaccurate as those provided by the Stat-Tracker (likely due to a lack of individual stats and lol Sheepy) the infra damage portion certainly leaves more room for error than Frawley's sheet did. In addition, as the Kangaroo pointed out, averaging infra levels across cities heavily disadvantages nuke bloc. Since large portions of infra in individual cities are destroyed in single nuclear attacks, average infra levels do not accurately model the actual infra levels in the cities being nuked. All in all, I'm not saying that these stats are overtly wrong or attributing any dishonesty to Erland, but you should take these stats with the same grain of salt as you did Leo's (actually Pablo's). Nice likes on OP, though. Seems like anyone will support stats that show their side to be winning. Didn't know we had so many revisionists here. 50k munitions, not 500k. Resources expended are not counted.
  6. Mhmm. The stats that Leo posted use Sheepy's damage calculator. Reduced steel costs certainly contribute, too. Unless you're implying manipulation, I don't see what wasn't explained by the post you quoted.
  7. He also did destroy a good 25 million in tanks, which far outstrips the infra damage done to his 900 infra cities
  8. Mhmm. I think there's a disconnect between BK's intent in posting these stats and the OWF's perception. They're a nice propaganda piece, not a replacement for Frawley's stats, which I'll confer have a more meticulous methodology. Rather than to revise our narrative, the stats exist to provide a more optimistic view of the war for IQ than the last update of Frawley's stats. (As far as I know, there aren't any publicly sanctioned IQ stats) Feel free to prove me wrong since I don't come here much, but I also haven't seen any attacks on Frawley's stats from IQ members. Don't know where you're getting that from. The grievance that Pheonix has is that the reception to these stats differs so dramatically to that of Sketchy's stats, which were done in the exact same way. This is understandable, but Leo certainly didn't post this thread to undermine Frawley's stats, as many in this thread are suggesting. As far as we knew, these stats were accurate, since they were gathered in the way that has traditionally been used up to this point. IIRC, the BK damages, at least, lined up fairly well with Frawley's at a certain point.
  9. Yeah... I'm going to have to disagree on this one. While it's a quite nice propaganda piece, no intentional tinkering of the stats occurred. Sheepy's stat-tracker is terrible as always, and I assume that IQ is rebuilding more infra (to keep their nations from dropping below the mil cap) than KT-sphere is. This compilation was done independently of Frawley's starting from around the same time and they have been updated concurrently, hence the tabs with dates. Initially, the stats were shown primarily to BK (I'll leave you to argue whether that was to boost morale) and this thread is the first time it was posted publicly. So, no calculations were changed and these stats are the ones that we have always been using. (Steel was even valued at 3.5k to appease you guys >.>) I have no problem with debate on the validity of the stats, but don't try to infer fraudulent intent.
  10. Mhmm, fair enough. Disagree with the last part, but we'll need to keep fighting to find out. In general, people should stop buying too much into the stats. The term Attrition keeps getting thrown around, yet IQ could sustain itself for 2 months last war and they didn't have a year to prepare that time. As of yet, I see no signs of the IQ offensive weakening. Maybe we can check at it again in another month or two.
  11. Obviously, Inquisition is going for the latter. This is merely a propaganda thread and the stats are used within BK as a means of friendly competition, not a gauge of war progress. If you are looking for one, though, try finding a militarized nation on your side below 3.5k score. For all the lauding that KT upper tier gets, I'm rather surprised at their war lack of war involvement. We haven't had a them attempt a downdeclare in over a week. At least Rose has the courtesy to keep us company. Phoenix has been around long enough to know how the previous war went down. Just looking at the nation builds and score ranges, it's clear that IQ and KT-coalition have differing objectives. I can't speak for KT and pals, but it looks to me that they are basing their war strategy off stat-pad—hitting fringe alliances that do not believe themselves to be part of IQ (eg. ODN, TUE), rather than focusing on pinning down BK and NPO. I also can't speak for the effectiveness of this, but IQ has been able to achieve in 3 weeks what it struggled to do in 2+ months last war due to lack of opposition.
  12. Tell me, Keegoz. How many planes does KT have left?
  13. People have been using nukes to impact conventional war? That's neat to know. Building up to 800-ish infra costs less than $1 million. It shouldn't be much trouble for anyone, especially if they don't need to use that money to build units. As for nukes being a deterrent, I'm sure the current war between IQ and KT/Rose factored into TKRsphere's decision to hit moreso than the war changes did. If your issue is with nukes dealing reduced damage on ordinary and raid war types, bothering Sheepy to change that would be a better solution than cutting nuke costs. And, resources can't be looted/destroyed, except through beige. It's far less feasible to starve someone out by depleting their resource stockpile than by doing a few ground battles/airstrikes to get rid of money.
  14. Once again, how are nukes not viable? I still see more than a few nukes being launched on both sides of the IQ - KT/Rose conflict. As for removing money from unit build costs, your wording seemed to suggest it. I don't see how removing money from unit costs will help an upcoming resource/cash glut if the change is implemented post-war. To address the suggestion, though, removing money from unit costs would neuter the effectiveness of blockades.
  15. How is the niche gone? Nukes are a loser's weapon used to deal some damage while you get brought down. They're still quite effective at doing so, even at half damage. We've had this discussion a million times already, so I'll just leave it at that. >changing war mechanics mid-war
  16. By the Grace of Ayyllah, ask and you shall receive.
  17. Basically, getting a power plant blown up by a nuke is pretty terrible as is and people shouldn't be more punished by RNG that is out of their control.

    War Stats

I know. I'm just emphasizing that the data from the stat tracker are questionable and people should be wary when drawing conclusions from them. You said the same yourself. That's why I quoted Thalmor, and not your original post.

    War Stats

Wait a second. I see the sentiment that non-IQ, KT in particular, is outperforming, despite being dogpiled, etc. etc. Positivity is good, but let's not get too carried away here. First of all, I'm fairly certain that we decided that Sheepy's stat-tracker was shit 2 wars ago. Here's an example if you don't remember. Second, when have we gauged war progress by infra damage this early on into a war, anyways? Here are the troop counts in the relevant (posing the most threat to IQ) ranges for some non-IQ alliances. We're screwed, guys. Better surrender and disband. Here's NPO, if you were interested. Someone please hit NPO.
  20. Hello Caecus. Since you so politely decided to not address any of the statements I made in my post and are putting words in my mouth, I see no reason to continue this conversation. You can add a mark to your tally of internet arguments won. Best Regards
  21. Hi Caecus. Please tell me where I said that globalization is the cause of increased instances of homicide. You're the one trying to prove a correlation and you failed at doing so. In addition, you haven't provided and compelling arguments or alternatives, so I see no reason to question the validity of the graph I brought up. Homicide rates are used to measure the level of criminality in a region. Find me one source that includes war casualties or capital punishment under homicide rate. Thanks and have a nice day. Cheers!
  22. Is that supposed to be sarcasm? It's more or less true, though. If you're implying that nationalism has a positive correlation to crime, you're full of bullshit It's true that we had less data about the 'shithole countries', but homicides have trended upwards since the 40s, if only due to the growing share of global population held by unstable developing world (read: third world) nations. Anyways, Western Europe and America don't contribute much to global death, rape, and anarchy either way. For America, crime rates peaked in the 90s—which were hardly a period of fervent nationalism.
  23. As a stand-in for the nation perks that Sheepy never gets around to adding, making these projects exclusive to one per nation could potentially diversify nation builds.
  24. We are the best bloc, led by Dear Leader Roquentin, Lord and Saviour of all of Orbis, Harbinger of Dynamism, Purveyor of K-pop, Unshakable One, The Incorruptible Protector, Paragon of Virtue, Beacon of Hope, Light to all the Nations, Most Upright One, Our Rock and Our Tower, Our Peace and Deliverance, etc. (praise be) Because we are 400 IQ big brain bois. your gunna die. no. Think about the 5000 families, the 5000 grieving mothers, the 5000 widowed lovers... You monster! Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every update, I can feel my warchest...and my infra...even my improvements. The money I’ve lost...the allies I’ve lost...won’t stop hurting...It’s like it's all still there. You feel it too, don’t you?
