  1. Only matters if you're causing more damage than the rest of us are earning. Quite a few have rebuilt.
  2. I'd be okay with that, just to have something to hit.
  3. The beige mechanic in general is cooked and needs a full rethink.
  4. There's just me online right now vs La Mafia, a Syndicate protectorate with nobody above 16 cities. I'm not sure there'd even be a fight if I wasn't a nuclear wasteland right now, but even so, I reckon I could handle it. (No offence Mafia friendos)
  5. Nonsense. If you entered a war intending to win it all through nuclear weapons, even through scenario B, you'd lose. It does not replace the importance of Air/Ground control; if you lose that, you're just as cooked as you are now. What scenario B would change is that it would firstly give a different tool to have a crack at whales, and secondly make it much costlier to "sit" on a nation with nuclear weapons for the intent of keeping them at ZM.
  6. If you crop and fiddle with my post so that it looks like I suggested we let people buy as many nukes as they want daily, then yes, it looks stupid.
  7. Why not? If it's that bad, then don't divide the infra/land/improvements between cities and just give it to the smallest city you own. The SQL request to add the stolen stuff to the receiving city is almost identical to the request to take it away from the damaged target city.
  8. Right now, both Nukes and Missiles are, strategically, pointless. They serve as either a two fingered salute on the way down after you've already lost the fight, or as a bling item. As a 22 city nation, I've been struck by 18 nuclear weapons and quite a few missiles this war, and I've really only just started to be modestly hamstrung by it because I've fallen below 25% of my starting infra. It is absolutely daft that I remain one of the greatest damage dealing members of my coalition, and not a radioactive wasteland. Here's my thoughts on what they could be instead. New Nuclear Weapons, Suggestion A Cost: 3 MAP, down from 12 Resistance Damage: 8-12, down from 25 Effects: Exactly as current, simply giving them a resistance damage and MAP cut so you can use more of them. Resistance damage to be set based on whether or not nuclear weapon use should be as effective as ground/air/navy for outright winning wars as fast as possible. New Nuclear Weapons, Suggestion B Cost: 12 MAP, as current Resistance Damage: 25 MAP, as current Effects: The city that is hit by a nuclear weapon should be totally out of commission. Somewhere between 70% and 100% of military units hosted in the city should be destroyed (roll a D31 and add 69). It should either 1; be completely unusable until the radioactive fallout has cleared, therefore providing no military capacity or resource production, or 2; see a much, much larger percentage of city improvements destroyed (we're talking half-ish). New Missiles Cost: 2 MAP, down from 8 Resistance Damage: 5, down from 18 Upkeep costs: Less Daily purchase limit: Definitely more than just one. Effects: Destroys targeted improvements by category the way it currently does, but with either no infra or only 50 infra (i.e. the amount of infra required for each improvement on your nation). Useful for chipping away at the military capacity of a nation, but won't win you the war in a straight race over ground/air/naval assaults. To be considered as an option vs nuclear weapons, they should also be very cheap to stockpile and stockpile at a rate of greater than 1 per day; perhaps they should require no Missile Launch Pad to purchase, but the Pad increases the daily purchase limit.
  9. Ground attacks should capture, not destroy- infrastructure and land should be divided out to all owned cities. Improvements should also be stolen, but you shouldn't be able to target the improvement to steal or it'd be too OP.
  10. Just one request, actually- can we have city counts attached with our nation names, and perhaps statistics on average damage caused/taken per city owned? It'd show more info on who the best fighters are, as opposed to merely who has the largest city counts.
  11. This, to be honest. Getting rolled isn't painful. I was one of the hardest hammered nations in Terminal Jest, with no pre-existing savings other than my war resource stockpiles, and yet I was able to pay The Syndicate's bank back for my rebuild within a month or two of the end of the fight because a; good loot on the way down that was successfully squirrelled away, and b; infra isn't that much. The worst thing that can happen is that you get completely sat on, blockaded, and cycled through beige status by people being careful not to make mistakes, and that just means your war is over and you can sit back and relax with a cup of coffee.
  12. Ronny has just alerted me to the fact that Partisan still didn't post his DoW yet. ?
  13. Pretty thrilled to be doing as much damage as I am, and especially come out net positive, when I've lost half my infra and am explicitly refraining from bieges as per coalition policy to prevent the whales from getting away (unlike certain others on this list...). Climbing any higher will get trickier unless I get serious about camping biege timers, though. Thanks for the stats, Sketchy!
  14. I think you quoted the wrong post, because 90% of this has nothing to do with what I said at all.
  15. I agree that the gap between wars is too long, and expanding ever more- which is a fairly significant part of what's caused CyberNations to deteriorate, but when you're a big nation, wars are expensive. Just drawing up to my full tanks and ships pre-war cost me nearly 40k steel, and I'm only at 22 cities; arguably not even quite the top tier in this game, and I obviously need a lot more than just that initial 40k steel to stay in the fight- more like 120-150k. We're talking at least a month and a half, perhaps even two months time spent saving to buy nothing but steel. Then I need to buy the other 3 important war resources, and preferably a few cities as well, and you can see where all the time is going. Solve the problem much faster by buffing resource production rates.
  16. Any chance of individual nation stats in the future? ❤️ your work as always Sketchy
  17. On behalf of The Syndicate, through the undisputed power invested in me by having the largest all time tanks lost tally in the alliance, I'd like to thank The Knights Radiant for their generous assistance against the foul Ayyslamic invaders. Together, we will push back the darkness.
  18. Honestly? No, not really. I used to want to be involved in FA, but to be in FA, you need to have connections, and the only time I usually even speak to anyone outside of t$ in this game is when I'm coordinating personal wars with them. Yep, I have missed a lot of wars. I've only had a couple single tiny scraps since Terminal Jest.
  19. Getting on par with me if you've only been fighting for the last year's not bad, but I just saw Kosonome's numbers and unless he's had a lengthy raider career, woof. EDIT: Just saw all of your other numbers. How many wars was TKR involved in these last 12 months?
  20. It's not a real war until Partisan actually posts the declaration of war he promised us a week ago.
