Comparing the before and after, WELP has done significant work in increasing its military edge, especially in planes, where it holds a comfortable lead. The spy average has also increased, which indicates they're making progress on winning the spy war. So in short, nothing too unexpected.

Not so beautiful was a somewhat lackluster blitz on WELP's part, but more on that later. Looking at the numbers, WELP dominates in pretty much every single tier until the mid-high tier, where things start to get much more even, and this also shows quite clearly in the military totals graph. Though the higher tiers seem more difficult on paper for WELP, ODOO also shot themselves in the foot a bit because of Grumpy's typical peacetime MMRs, which aren't very organized, leading to lots of members with terribly substandard builds (including much fewer planes) that were very quickly wiped out, as is evident by the C46+ plane average comparison. Because this was a sudden blitz, WELP struggled to fill slots during the initial wave, but has covered reasonable ground, dealing nearly 600 wars to ODOO's roughly 100. This, combined with the fact that ODOO was likely caught somewhat off guard, and all chart averages showing a military edge for WELP, strongly indicate a timely victory for WELP. On the spy side of things, the war has been quite slow, and I still see hordes of maxed folks on both sides, though WELP has picked up a small 8 spy average on that front as well. (But hey, when was the last time spy ops won a war anyway)

For the record, if it isn't obvious already, PK is just Llojsa. I don't care enough to take sides in this conflict but maintain that DB protecting them while knowing this was a mistake and probably still is ;v

You may be able to just embed the Google Drive file directly into the website itself as well, may want to look into that!

FYI, a link that immediately leads to a file download will sus me out no matter what but it doesn't seem like a virus. Very cool concept! One piece of advice -- if it's difficult to create, it will become difficult to sustain over time. You're probably doing this already but find ways to maintain the quality while decreasing the workload involved, whether that be for creating templates/semi-automating workflows/improving process structure/etc. Best of luck!

Too eepy atm to respond with anything longer but like I said in the post, ideological politics lol, there's less principle for people to rally around when everyone pretty much follows the same exact game of hit the ppl who 1. Avoided losing war the longest 2. Are the biggest 3. Did something kinda mean 4. Rolled you the last time; there's no distinction between sides beside "I'm in this alliance and u r not lul" and just forget about finding alliances that are consistent in their beliefs and not hypocrites kek. When treaties are only signed for size/tiering and alignment for/against friends/enemies, they lose any community-based meaning beyond that. Obviously realpolitik is not just a short-term goal of winning whatever current war kek, although plenty of alliances have taken advantage of that. But it is more of a numbers thing that ultimately just leads to every alliance trying to one up every other alliance via focus on tiering alone, and slowing the tiering of others, and under that context, alliances find justification to maintain that goal by whatever means necessary. (Sorry if this is rambling, when I say I'm eepy I'm serious :serious:)

Something I've noticed, and would like people's feedback on, since I've been away from politics too long to tell for sure kek. (Or maybe I'm late in pointing this out too, who knows) If there's something 2023 has been historically significant for in my eyes, it is the number of old rivalries, dislikes, and grudges that have been put aside for politics. This has occurred in pretty much every corner of Orbis, ranging from relations resets from multiple parties to former war opponents signing both O-level and M-level treaties to several alliances becoming essentially the town bike jumping from sphere to sphere, both supporting and opposing practically every party in the game. Furthermore, most new grudges seem fairly short-term: those who wronged them in the last war, or former allies one may have had a bad experience with, or so on. Equally notable is the number of O-level treaties signed this year. Notice that few, if any, of these have been acted upon offensively -- signifying these are very much defensive security guarantees, often between aforementioned formerly opposing parties. This, to me, reads of a very hard shift toward pure realpolitik: the tossing aside of ideological politics for practical policy. This tells me that those who advocated for its return earlier this year and at the end of last year essentially got their wish, and maybe a little more, given once one party starts seriously playing it, it is very hard for the rest not to. Part of the lack of participation and interest in the game, combined with current political disengagement, then, seems only natural. Realpolitik, I feel, relies on a much smaller group of political elite that don't feel so affected by common sentiment. As a result, even when major political moves are made, not as much gets said in public anymore because there is less reason beyond "for the good of the alliance" why things are done, and trying to debate the false ideals that surround these things frankly gets quite tiring when there's no real motivation behind it. Also, maybe more cynical, but I feel like the current standard for what consists of "good politics" is woefully low. It seems that almost anything announced semi-publicly gets a majority of commendation, and this reads to me both of too many people too eager to gain friends and too afraid of finding enemies. Plus, the fact people are drawn to almost any action with a pulse really speaks volumes about the political environment to me.
