Operation Takeover : Canada Branch's headquarters stormed Canada has been going through our own little war lately as Operation Takeover, a terrorist group that has holdings and bases in many small countries, were detected on the move in Canada by the Canadian Spy Agency. Their headquarters were discovered in the basement of a apartment building after a confidential document on the Internet was leaked to the Canadian Government. The apartment building was monitored 24/7. At exactly 1am, September 27, 1992, the CSA and the Canadian Military entered the apartment building quietly. When the terrorists realized that the government had detected them, they attempted to start a fire in the building and burn all their documents. However, the soldiers extinguished the fire. No casualties have occurred on the government side, however half of the terrorists were killed trying to resist. The remaining have all been issued a 300 year sentence with no possibility of parole. The Canadian Government captured several documents planning the assassination of Canada's top military/political leaders, a takeover of the government, and a attack on the capital via planes from "Country X". The information recieved has been passed onto other nations and many accidents have been prevented. Canada's Economy Booming Canada is now, literally, a nation forged in fire and war. As other nations fall around us, thanks to our policy of neutrality, alliance donations and luck, we have grown even bigger. Our fourth city, Vancouver was founded a few days ago. From the eyes of a refugee living in Canada: Dear Family, The siege on the capital went horribly. We had thousands of casualties. After the attempted siege on the capital, the army broke up. The remaining few of us that were still alive simply ran for our lives. Our country had deserted us, the air transports gone already. I watched as my remaining comrades simply died or were shot. By some miracle, I managed to leave the capital city. I crawled through the forest. I had the good fortune to meet some animals, which I gladly ate. The water was contaminated with blood, but hey, who am I to complain? Majority of the countries I passed turned me down. At one, they even threatened to shoot me. I can't really blame them - rubble lay everywhere and smoke from a missile lingered in the air. I headed for the Canadian border, after I heard from another hitchhiker that Canada was accepting refugees. He had left his home country, decimated by the missiles. His family was all dead. We walked along, however he died from malaria as we were crossing the desert. I passed through several cities, that had been destroyed. People were stealing things off of dead people, the remaining survivors were being mugged, houses looted... it was horrible. I must admit that I joined in too, I went to what was left of the farmer's market, picked up someone's leather book bag off the dusty ground and took all the food and water I could. I arrived at the Canadian border 7 days after the battle. The border patrols gave me a red passport with the Canadian flag on it, with the words "REFUGEE" on them. I was driven in a tour bus past the rolling hills, mountains, towns and rivers. The sun was shining. I was taken to Niagara Falls, into the National Centre. It was a beautiful community centre. I was assigned a corner of Dressing Room 11 to sleep in, however, I get 3 meals a day from the Red Cross and water, and shelter, and heating. I am thankful. It really makes me feel that something is unfair however. All these neutrals are living in peace and happiness...while others are dying. Have we done something wrong?

With all the story writing, thought I'd join in Canadian News! Canadian Soldiers Stand On Guard Canadian Infantry were seen at many major crossings, along with our Leopard 1 Tanks. Due to the war, Canada has raised a DEFCON 2 alert. Our soldiers are protecting our major borders, and have been doing a good job so far. Nations near us are all warring, and last night, 12 soldiers were killed after a off-course bomber accidentally released it's bomb. The Canadian military shot the bomber down. The nationality of the plane and soldier were both unidentifiable. The plane's wreckage. It crashed near a temporary military base. Canada opens our arms to refugees People, scarred by the terrors of war, are slowly streaming through our borders. The Canadian Red Cross is providing aid and shelter to them until the war in their homeland ceases. So far an estimated 25,000 refugees have crossed our borders and more are expected. Canadian Tourist Boat hit by Sea Mine in the middle of the ocean No deaths have been reported after a Canadian Tourist boat, departing from Quebec City, hit a sea mine 500 miles south of Greenland. The boat was on it's way to Norway. The boat lays in the middle of the ocean. The Greenland Coast Guard and the Icelandic Police, Maritime Division, were able to rescue all passengers.
