neutrality carries its own risks in this world. i get the sense of justice, but its not like the real world, in which we give up much of our power to one government which enforces laws that we decide on together. here, its a free for all, with rudimentary teams and pacts. and saying you wont hit anyone doesnt deliberately antagonize anyone, but it also doesnt guarantee your safety.

i agree GPA gets a lot of sht it doesnt deserve. hell, i'll agree Alpha gets a lot of sht it doesnt deserve (except Steve, even in private we hate him ;D). but uhh w/o any allies to defend them this is how its looking. any old alliance can just decide to wreck shop if they like, shows that there's no foolproof way to avoid being hit in this game (except maybe 99% method lol)

ghux is great also selling infra is not

i believe sell value is supposed to be constant (and really, really low) regardless of infra value. heavily discourages selling of infra -
Name that war, now with to many poll options!

good point, let's call it "The Fark War" -
i retract my earlier statement about there being little anti-(That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) rhetoric

^can confirm Partisan has stepped down for real lol. anyone here want to share long stories about their time with Partisan the FA master? we have a thread on our forums but hopefully people can be nice here and share (be nice, the guy is retiring lol) -
this is oddly philosophical

^quite deliberate

there are social justice warriors, and there now seem to be social injustice warriors; people who fight for the right for everyone to be as politically incorrect as they want wherever they want. i find that i regard both the same way ;D

CC's analysis and the mensan analysis provided is totally in line with mine. if the update rolls out as is, it will be a rather significant nuke buff. hopefully there will be other changes that help balance it out

heh Syndi's helped grow a bunch of their current allies from protectorate status. their success is something we're quite proud of, and signing them we think is a bit different from signing because we happen to be fighting the same people :PP open to suggestions though, yall think we should dump such a relationship? -
^CHARMED! GOOO FRAAAANDS

Most <blank> Alliance this Great War
Beowulf the Second replied to Buorhann's topic in Orbis Central
damn, that partisan response was pretty stronk. i look forward to someone trying to rebut it but the other side has tried to ignore it for quite a bit now. otherwise fuuuuk, can we let go of this now? hopesolo we keep saying 'no' because we literally hate talking about this, not because it 'makes ppl respect t$ more' lol i dunno how u thought that -
yeah compared to this steve stuff id rather rehash that any day. seriously, you've got me missing clarke
-
ill just go ahead and assume that you're right and im talking about the wrong war and ill go crawl back into my shtpost hole and let the big bois discuss

soooo... clearly not mensa trying to trigger treaty stuff? i wasnt directly involved in negotiations, and i'm not as well-versed in FA (and congrats on learning so much, you're very dedicated), but i do clearly remember mensa offering reps in order to deescalate and stop that war in its tracks. might have been before rose said they would come in though (warboner for them heh), but regardless would not be treaty manip
-
i swear that one was the one where mensa members raided vanguard and vanguard responded in full force, and while tS scrambled to diplo both sides to peacefully resolve (someone prob has logs somewhere) and mensa was willing to pay reps (i remember a mensa member balking as theyd never offered that before), rose used it as a CB, and has admitted that war was aggressive. or maybe not

heh looks like they had some preprepared fanfic o/ other sphere consolidating, good good -
yep, the Alpha tS spat was the first aggressive blitz we've done (though clearly foreshadowed), and this war the second. if we're counting aggressive blitzes as the antagonizing bit here, 'amorphous blob' coalition owes us like 3 more
-
or keep trying to mass more alliances against t$, like you've been doing. Phiney's not 100% right, you can still consolidate GPA against us SPOILER ALERT: Steve's War 4 involves Steve rallying all the micro-alliances against us also, as an Executive VP myself can confirm that we are shadow gov and have deposed partisan

ohmygod James tell me you're willing to actually work with Apeman because that would be epic asfff
