  1. Being in a top alliance is its own bonus. Also - it would just encourage huge alliances with lots of zombie members. Blobs would blob together to be bigger blobs. Overall, not a good idea.
  2. trying to execute on several different pages will generate errors anyway (session issues) when its the same browser but having a script send execute commands to multiple machines after the captcha is solved but before it expires should probably work
  3. doubtful, but maybe we will see someone give it a whirl on the test server
  4. just set the script to fire after the captchas have been solved (you can solve and wait)
  5. So clever alliances could in theory plan to try to establish 4 or more slots on some targets by very closely coordinating their timing? (Something that, I'd observe, could be done more effectively with illicit scripting...)
  6. Ok. I don't remember who your treaties were with, so was hoping you could elaborate, but oh well.
  7. Could you tldr which treaties you are actually canceling?
  8. My revenue log says my net income per turn is $34,281. My revenue page says my net income per turn should be $82,556 (yay for massive war damage). This disparity looks like it may have been introduced as of 00:00:01 9/27, judging by the revenue log.
  9. This is a critical point. Holding all things equal, the NPO/VE/Rose side of the world will apparently never be able to win a global war. Yet I don't think that is really grounds to give up - it suggests a realignment is necessary on the Paracov side, yes. But the tS/Mensa/TKR/BK side isn't invulnerable to boredom, minor disputes and other problems that might degrade our readiness over time. And who knows - maybe someone will recruit iNCi to PNW. Then we will all drown in owl gifs.
  10. Nope, wars aren't cheap and warring alliances don't just bounce back. Do you think its a coincidence that GPA and then Pantheon ascended to #1? The reason it seems like both poles of the world lose a bunch of infra and then a few months later look in roughly similar shape again is because war is highly destructive to both sides, and "both sides" in this case encompasses most of the world. To see how expensive it truly is, look at the relative growth of non-participants.
  11. last war you deleted all your tanks rather than fight :-P
  12. Despite what some have said and what you may have heard, VE appears to have had roughly a weeks notice. No one in this game decides to go to war and goes to war both on the same day, nor would they expect that of an ally (because that ally would then be worthless in the war effort).
  13. Usually we just say "you guys suck" rather than explaining it in detail. But even if you could figure some of the shit out that Ogaden listed, it wouldn't solve your problem because you can't actually war even on an individual level.
  14. Man, TKR and BK have had some sweet wars! When can Mensa and tS get in on that juicy action?
  15. I get what you are saying. Reps or no reps is based on appetite, driven by how the war began, what the status is of combatants when it ends, past relationship between them, etc. I don't think any hard rules about reps really make sense cause all of those factors can fluctuate independently.
  16. The Viridian Entente acknowledges and admits its defeat at the hands of the desert warriors of Dio and the divine avatars of Pantheon. In recompense for their unprovoked attack the lords and ladies of the Entente surrender $500m from their remaining financial reserves. Pantheon, Mensa HQ and their allies agree that upon receipt of reparations and the posting of this notice all wars will be closed by an offer of peace from either side, and no new attacks or wars will be commenced. Mensa HQ appreciates the decision of the Entente to sue for peace and wishes them well until we meet each other again in the field. MoonPie, Lord of the Entente Seeker, Duke of the Entente/Secretary of State Yoda, Secretary of the Interior (IA/Econ) Grosskev, Secretary of Defense Vanek26, Chairman Avruch, Interior Affairs & Vice Chair Blande, Minister of War LordRahl2, Minister of Security Buorhan, Hippo Kemal Ergenekon, Minister of Economy Yui - Gaia, Titan Yui - Hestia, Olympian of Internal Affairs Akiyama Mio - Enyo, Olympian of Defense Tiggera - Hades, Olympian of Economics Don Juan - Apollo, Olympian of Foreign Affairs
  17. Maybe if you tried just a little harder, things might work out better for you. Effort is not poison. Promise.
  18. Just to emphasize - these are not hypothetical numbers, this is exactly what happened to VE. They actually started with something like 114 people, but around 10-15 deleted or left VE during the war.
  19. You can't launch an attack and then !@#$ about being outnumbered. If you or your alliance mates really believed that you could parcel out your attacks and not have allies of your opponents cross defend you are idiots.
  20. Perhaps you misread? SRD thinks that fighting form is > 1300 infra because he wants to max production and income. We said that, for the purposes of fighting during a war, 1300 infra is fine. You can generally assume that when it comes to fighting a war, we know what we are doing. Top tier strength is not a non-factor, but it is not decisive in deciding whether or not you lost. If you have 100 people and 90 of them are zeroed and 10 of them are OK, you did not win.
  21. Your goal is to be personally as large and powerful as possible. That may not be the most effective strategy for an alliance, especially one that focuses on being supremely effective in war. I'm an outlier in Mensa for various reasons.
