honestly just having it redirect you back to where you were would be legit or having it accept your last trade but then make you enter it to continue trading, or something i hate picking an offer and not only not getting my shit but getting a captcha

i already posted this and more pages and pages ago. they aren't interested in being real about it.

as a person who has been in vacation mode for over two weeks now, who still posts a lot, my main motivation for being in vacation mode is that i really don't actually have the time to play the game right now just because you're on vacation doesn't mean you can't spend a half hour at night talking to people, but it still prevents your ability to actively wage war and, well, play the actual game itself vacation mode comes with significant drawbacks. i wouldn't mind seeing the max cut down from a year to, say, 3-6 months, but really, if you're gonna spend an entire year in vacation mode, that's a LOT of time of your nation not earning any revenue whatsoever. to put things in perspective, logging in one time every week while being in a neutral alliance is much, much more profitable, and doesn't raise any concerns whatsoever

yes, let's judge the legitimacy of concepts based on their treatment by teenagers and dumb adults sure, sometimes, i'll worry if i'll get taken the wrong way and be seen as racist, or that i'll accidentally say something only to find out that it's racist and i didn't realize it, but most adults can work through these minor issues with little difficulty through talking things out and apologizing if you've screwed up being a minority doesn't exempt you from stupidity, either. the majority of black people i've talked to about these issues get really annoyed when black people do racist things, even moreso than white racism, because they see it as fueling that fire. it isn't that i don't understand why white people want to take pride in their legacy - vikings are !@#$ awesome and germany is filled with a lot of great people who have done a lot of really cool shit. the thing is, though, that the nazis weren't even in power for an entire decade. so like if you're sitting there basing yourself on perhaps the worst thing white people have ever done, it's going to draw concerns, no matter your intentions. i would love to see a viking/german/etc. alliance that actually was trying to just celebrate the history of those cultures. but that's not what's usually going on.

it's not that we're not aware, it's that it doesn't matter. the suggestion regardless of the intent behind it should be judged based on its own merits.

well, i wouldn't want to put you in pain by replying, so i'll just let someone who actually wants to reply to my points do so

not everybody is constantly using every post they make as a way to advance their alliance's political agenda the point isn't shame on UPN, as though they were the only alliance involved in that, the point is that it is only the alliances who actually try to do something that ever get punished for it. SI tried to do stuff, look what happened to us. arrgh tried to do stuff, you guys literally went and changed the rules of the game so you could stop them. every time someone tries to do something interesting, all of the people who sit around doing nothing can't wait to test out the infra machines they've spent so much money and time on. you have to discourage that type of gameplay and encourage a more active style of gameplay. you have to give people a reason to fight or they won't. treasures was a failure; i suggested forcing an alignment with one of two fake superpowers. like yes this is a nation simulator but it is also a game and if you take all of the game out of the game you're left with real life and why the &#33;@#&#036; would i want to do real life in what is supposed to be a game? who wants to WORK in a game? imagine if someone saw world of warcraft and decided to keep all the mindless farming of mobs for resources and take out all the raids, pvp potential, and the level cap. that's basically what this game is. all the worst parts of the game, with all the good ones taken out, and no "end" where people can sit around and fight based on skill rather than who has been here the longest. you've all missed the point entirely.

i'm pretty sure an alliance that charged the rest of the game a 33% tax on every trade would find itself the target of a coalition pretty quickly, especially with nothing else to fight over since everyone is too worried about *gasp* doing something wrong to actually be real about anything it wouldn't ever get used and we would all sit around and talk about how wonderful the top alliance is for being so awesome as to not tax us
