Though seriously I had no idea why he got picked, TKR had a few good candidates who really did exceed expectations while Bopolo was more or less luck ( his target was ZM'd by Felkey beforehand ), and haven't performed well in other occasions. Just like to joke about being "best rookie" since he was nominated so heavily on that other topic.

What I'm concerned of is that I'm still not being nominated for best rookie.

Ironically enough they tend to be low tier noobs who are whining more about how much infra and resources they lost. On the other hand, war is usually a good time to weed out members who don't really give a shit about their alliance.

A big requested change for planes is to nerf the damage it does when you target tanks and ships, which is a reason why air is so dominant over other units. Also, the fortify option, which is a bit irritating.

There will eventually be a time in P&W where people realize ships and planes are significantly more cost effective and stop buying nukes...and then we will end the usage of nuclear weapons forever. Just kidding, you need a ridiculous amount of planes or ships against your enemy to deal that much infra damage.

Not necessarily, since a few of the members on this "best fighter" board are members who had only started in 2016. Most conflicts today don't really rely on a few players simply being good and more that the alliance can fight as a whole, though. Not to mention the leaderboard Avruch posted does not account for score: the score varies from 500 to 6500 and the ultimate impact they have in a conflict varies heavily. Some may simply be good risk-taking raiders while others are heavy fighters during a war.

Not really, both sides talk as much shit as they do, though on this side it tends to be NPO or Lordaeron, the latter having died down on that kind of talk for a bit. Occasionally I have to wonder if all that vitriol is totally not um, taking things too personally. I'm not the biggest fans of NPO, at least certain members. They haven't left too much of a lasting impression for me. They're our allies alright and I'll help them as needed but that doesn't mean I need to like them. Oh yeah, and fun fact: Madden8021 was BK's 22nd member on Feb 4, 2015, 10 days after Aerys Targaryen joined. Good ol history.

IQ actually had near double the nations but overall lacked a proper and coordinated upper tier while the lower tier was rendered ineffectual for the entirety of Round 1; while I hate to admit it the bulk of NPO ended up clashing with other similarly scored folks from other alliances and after the entire whole tier was decimated it's only time until the lower tier in Syndisphere was bolstered and sent to down declare. Someone should point out how Pantheon had 1/6th of their nations in VM yet still managed to hold off a huge attack. While they are not as influential as TKR or Rose, they've certainly accomplished an impressive feat, almost as impressive as t$'s 1v7.
