i agree. magically transporting your entire army to the battlefront and then immediately having them available for defense turns the game into a simple numbers game. if you have more people you will grind your opponent to zero since you can easily destroy more than a couple day's worth of units in a few hours. inevitably it will turn into the side with the most numbers controlling the ground, the side with less numbers nuke/missile turtling (and often dealing more damage/money spent since war is very costly to maintain and use conventional armies)

That is good advice. Thought there is a difference between allowing someone make you feel bad about who you are, and choosing the lowest hanging fruit to try and make someone feel bad about themselves. Should Pfeiffer have responded with a bit more resilience? Sure. Does that excuse behavior intended solely to hurt and/or belittle him?. Not in my opinion. I'm not saying this in response to the cb/ad...this is more in reference to the oink oink comments I've seen in this thread. I haven't seen any of the stuff that prompted this megathread

Ah makes sense. I guess it comes down to an interpretation of what defense is. Does a retaliatory attack from your own aggressive action initiate a good faith defense pact? I could see one arguing that you aren't really the defending alliance in this situation. Manipulating a 'defense' pact through aggressive actions isn't in the spirit of the pact in my eyes but again, I know nothing of how fa works This will be interesting

I'm not sure about that strategy. I'd be afraid that they are wasting their time and resources picking the apples (vanguard) before trying to chop down the tree (Rose). All this does is weaken themselves and allow Rose time to prep right? I'm terrible at war though so I'm probably wrong but I don't see the sense in this strategy

So Mensa is mad at rose so they declare war on vanguard? I know I'm not in the loop with foreign affairs but that doesn't really make sense to me

that game is really weird. i haven't really looked at these that closely but if im reading this correctly i see the bombers only pitching to 2 batters during the whole game, and there are multiple innings that closed without 3 outs edit: i looked at my most recent game: https://politicsandwar.com/obl/game/id=30832 and it shows some weird characterizations as well. the 5th & 8th inning never happened, and many other innings are ending on walks/hits edit 2: when you actually go to the simulation portion of the recap things look complete

That doesn't really make sense though since your home game would be someone else's away game. Unless we are playing bots I think this observation is just something that will eventually converge to the average

perhaps there is a home field advantage that is unaccounted for at this time

dont entirely dismiss community college. the first 1-2 years of your undergrad core can easily be earned through community college and transferred over to a larger program. it is also significantly cheaper and makes the transition less painful (as in less wasted money on now useless credits) should you decide to change your major

So if were to tally all the aid given out to existing members would we find that it is less than 200M during this growth period? if it were closer to 400m what would you think is the fair thing to do? Do you realize that for each 100 infra purchased the net income increase is about 20k? Over the course of 30 days that equals an additional 600k per 100 infra bought. Do you think it would be fair to account for this secondary growth and remove these funds as well?
