With the loss of the Silent War, the Rose bloc has now more or less dissolved from the once powerful opposing bloc against the Syndisphere. In the wake of the aftermath, there are a few clear victors: the Syndisphere achieved a tactical victory over the opposing Paragon forces. However, it is worth noting the true victor of these events: Terminus Est.

 

It is the opinion of this writer that of all the participants in the Silent War, Terminus Est is the only alliance which achieved a tactical and strategic victory that now propels TEst to a position of upper tier dominance. With the destruction of Pantheon, Sparta and Alpha as competitors to the once small and reclusive force, TEst has now achieved a numerical superiority in upper tier nations following this war. There is little room for doubt that following this war, TEst intends to capitalize on its gains by compounding nation growth in light of the minimal damage received during the war. It will likely be very difficult for Pantheon and Alpha to rise to the challenge in the next global conflict.

I wonder if TEst will either get rolled or suck up to Syndisphere to prevent that rolling?  Pantheon will be out for blood, but TEst can keep them in-line by sucking up to Syndisphere and make them just eat the damage they took.

I think that this about sums it up for us:

 

They never understand us, not truly, and understand even less with each passing second. They doubt. They think we have lost our way. We see it in their hearts - the pettiness, the pride, the seeds of ruin driving them on, feeding our tempest. With such creatures must we remake the future!

Being dominant in the upper tier is a silly thing.  War is the interesting part of the game.  If nobody is in range then you are king of, nothing.  TEST likes war too much for that.

 

The clear losers in the war include Alpha...again due to poor diplomacy.

But that is under the assumption that TEst somehow absorbs all other upper tier nations. And I would agree, TEst likes war too much for that. 

 

Still, you can't deny that TEst has the majority of active upper tier nations. While there are other upper tier nations out there, they are scattered, and a quick blitz from TEst would decide the outcome. 

 

The Spartan "drill" that led up to Steve's War is what crippled Alpha, poor diplomacy was not the issue at hand. Seabasstion should be proud, he should be credited with the destruction of the Rose bloc, intentional or not.
